Fantastic experience for staying at Novotel Nara. They provide shuttle bus service to and from Nara park and JR station, plus 5 mins walk to the nearest shopping centre and “ROUND one” which is a great place for children and adults. Nice public bath and kids play area inside the hotel, massage chairs at 2nd floor. Clean and reasonable size of the rooms. I will come back again next summer.

First off, it's a beautiful hotel—very new, modern, and stylish. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and eager to offer recommendations. The room design was an A+. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues with the room. When I checked in, I found a visible stain on the undersheet. Always check! To their credit, the housekeeping manager responded quickly and changed the bedding. I also noticed a slight damp smell in the room and pillows, although I'm not sure what the cause was. I didn't raise the second issue because I was on a tight schedule and didn't want to risk another room or bedding change after already dealing with the first problem. I also had my own pillow, so I decided to let it go. Overall, it's a genuinely beautiful hotel with excellent staff, but the housekeeping needs to be more thorough, as these issues took away from what would otherwise have been an excellent stay.

It is truly excellent. The facilities, including the building itself, are new. The rooms are equipped with everything necessary, without any clutter. The staff provide wonderful service. The breakfast buffet offers a fantastic selection. The rates are extremely reasonable, offering excellent value for money.

Breakfast was surprisingly good. Great facilities with the kids room, relaxation area with massage chairs and spa. Also, very impressed with the availability of rental items you can order from your room. Their service was great alongside with their high level of english. Definitely one of the top Novotel's we've been to.
