This is a great property. We really enjoyed the beautiful view and fireplace. Very relaxing. We took a winter getaway and so were not able to use the patio, but it looked very inviting even with snow on it. The unit was well stocked with cooking items, the furniture was very comfortable. The location is a convenient distance from Mahone Bay and Chester; great for lunch, dinner or just coffee shop hopping. Will definitely try to get back.

The property was absolutely beautiful, and has a fantastic view of Deep Cove harbour. Cottage was extremely clean and well-equipped. We were very happy to be able to do some mid-trip laundry. Alan was great at communicating and even gave us tourist tips for the area. Highly recommend and would happily stay again if we are in the area! Thanks Alan and Brooke!

The view is outstanding and the house so beautiful :)) We travelled to Mahone Bay for a pub lunch and brewery visit the first day and repeated the outing in Chester the second day. Une adresse à garder précieusement !The cottage offers a stunning view of the bay, ever-changing throughout the day and perfect for quiet contemplation. The interior, tastefully decorated in a charming seaside style, creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The view was so inspiring, it made me want to return just to paint maritime scenes from the terrace. Definitely a place to keep on my list!

I loved all the decor! The hosts were extremely response & easy to deal with. My only regret is I couldn’t stay longer!

We had a lovely stay in Deep cove cottage which was scenic and serene. It was close to both Chester & Mahone bay for restaurants. The couple who owned it were friendly and attentive and even brought me their Kayak to use.

The property is in a beautiful location, and very well equipped. We enjoyed the solitude and view. It was a great place for the 30ish family that joined us. There were lots of trails that they used for hiking and running. Alan even supplied us with firewood, which we used. We would certainly consider revisiting! The few questions we texted were answered immediately. Great property and management.

We arrived at this lovely home with all the amenities you could ask for and more. Alan & Brooke went out of the way to make us feel at home. Great location for driving to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay and the lovely town of Lunenburg. It was so nice to come back in each day after going all day to the peaceful tranquility of Deep Cove.
