Sadly there were other things that were wrong. I’ve stayed at the hotel before and felt the last time that some of the staff weren’t great. But there was one particular young guy on Reception who was really quite rude. Breakfast was cold with not much selection. I have to say the Staff serving breakfast were really helpful. We didn’t have a kettle on in the room, we had an issue with hot water, there was a children’s party which we weren’t notified of around the swimming pool which is quite noisy. It was a little disappointing, but I have to say that Fabio, the manager handled our complaint well. We just wish that everything has been perfect as this was an anniversary

TThis property was not the greatest experience. I feel that they definitely treated us differently being American and we’re a little bit snobby and rude towards us. We got there at 8 o’clock and of course not expecting an early check-in. I wanted to check and see if they had an opportunity for us to come in early. They did not allow us to check in until 3 PM but they did in fact check in more than 10 people while we sat there and waited. They explained that they did not have a room available in my room type which being in the hotel industry I could completely understand, but they didn’t even offer us an opportunity to have a different room type to check in sooner. By the time we got into the room it was definitely dirty. There was a bug smashed on the wall with blood, the sheets had hair on them. The bathroom counter had hair on it. The sheets were dirty and it smelled so strong of cleaning supplies that I instantly got a headache. Right after getting into the room, we definitely went and checked right back out and asked for a refund which they did not want to offer. I did end up speaking to the general manager who said we would be able to get the refund and he contacted the third-party to ask them to refund me yet. Expedia is supposedly still working on the case. This hotel is not near anything and there’s nothing to do in the area. The one good thing was the restaurant by the beach. The food was phenomenal. Still waiting to hear back about my approved refund.

Disappointing experience – far from five stars! AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL POINTS. We had high expectations when we booked our stay at this five star hotel, but unfortunately it was a huge and huge disappointment. This place does not live up to the standard you would expect from a hotel in this class. STAY AWAY. First of all, the cleanliness was completely unacceptable. The room was dusty, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the room smelled almost like mold. Unfortunately, the reception staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. Every time I approached the reception, I felt like I was in trouble. No smile, no welcome, and very poor customer service – which really ruined our whole experience. We wanted to check out the next day but unfortunately the stay was prepaid. The breakfast was miserable. Poor selection, tasteless food and definitely far below what you would expect, even from a three star hotel. It seemed like nothing was fresh. Overall: This hotel is absolutely not worth the money. I feel indirectly cheated and will definitely NEVER return. Steer clear if you expect quality, service and cleanliness in line with a five star standard. THE BEACH WAS VERY NICE. THE RECEPTION STAFF WERE RUDE.

What I didn't like was there was no restaurant open until 8:00 at night with limited menue, and with reservations highly recomended. Also, Zero Cab service. Desk has to call a cab, and he has +$48.00 on meter when he gets there, and adds another $45.00 for the ride to the Train Station in Pizza for a $93.00 ride of 18 minutes. Never ever stay there again.
