Beautiful location with easy access to Olympic National Park. Stunning views from the windows kept us immersed in the scenery. We especially enjoyed our evening strolls. We would definitely come back.

Wow, what can I say. We spent two nights at this property while attending my brother-in-law's celebration of life This house was large enough to accommodate our family and was just a few minutes from our relatives. This house is old and showing wear, and would benefit from some serious updates - broken blinds, dirty microwave, ancient coffeemaker with a dirty warmer, kitchen faucet sprayer drooping, faint odor of tobacco, freezing cold when we arrived, and the living room heat did not turn on. Heat was provided by wall units in rooms, so it was difficult to get even heat. There were no towels in the bathrooms, but we did find some in the hallway, and discovered others in the clothes dryer. The washer did not work. When I contacted the host, he did schedule a maintenance person, but by then we had checked out. I had to contact him to get the door code. The description of the bedrooms needs editing. One bedroom has one king bed OR two twins that can be pushed together to make a king. The mattresses and bedding were ok. Overall, it was a disappointing rental.

Large clean home with four large bedrooms and several very comfortable places to hang out. The home is a bit vintage in spots, but there are also a few upgrades. The kitchen had a large assortment of pots, tools and implements for cooking.Internet access is spotty on the peninsula in general, and this was no exception. We had to fall back to cellular hotspots for multiple kids doing homework and college applications at the same time. The hot water heater was perhaps a tad undersized as we ran out of hot water frequently. But manage these two minor things and you're set with a solid, comfortable home base for exploring the area.About 10 minutes from Sequim proper and about 7 minutes from US101, you're close enough to get where you need to go but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and solitude. Tip: Check out the stars on a clear night, away from the light pollution of Sequim.Summary: Would definitely stay here again. Very comfortable, clean home, good communication with owner.
