Arrived 3:15 MT after driving all day, only to be told there is a $50 surcharge for registering before 4PM MT. The rooms were a bit too rustic for our taste - no A/C, no refrigerator and the ice machine did not work.

The property had many trailers with snowmobile & groomers in front of hotel, lack of parking because of it. Hotel was not clean, staff was rude, & much more, would not suggest this place to others, we had a very concerning experience.

Where do I start? I guess the “highlight” of the stay was being threatened by a Maintenance guy when I asked why there were no laundry facilities ever available. Apparently the staff can do their personal laundry while the guests are supposed to wait…interesting concept. There was a security person there but he did nothing to de-escalate the rude staff member. Sauna was broken and the restaurant is closed on Sundays - which was probably good since the food was terrible. No activities for kids or active adults. No amenities to speak of, and a total lack of decency or helpfulness from the staff. To top it off, found bugs in the cabin… was able to solve that problem, but still annoying. Stay there if you have to, but you’ve been warned.

This was a nice place to stay for a couple of days. The room was great. There is a restaurant/bar on the first floor with all the rooms on the second and third floor. The food menu is not that big, and quite pricy but there is nothing else around for quite a ways. There is a gas station right next door with some food and grocery options. The staff was very friendly.

This is a wonderful place! Our cabin was clean and cozy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location is convenient to the parks. The on-site restaurant and bar, The Grizzly Grill, had a nice menu and great service.

We stayed in one of the cabins at Togwotee. This resort is further away from the Tetons than Jackson, but is totally worth it! The views when driving to the Jenny Lake area are breathtaking as you drive along the Snake River towards the Teton Range. Bonus...you don't have to deal with the Jackson Hole insanity. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cabins could be cleaner, but if you aren't a germaphobe you would be okay, they aren't filthy, mainly just a little dusty. I imagine the Lodge is cleaner because it is on pavement. The bedroom had no door, so keep that in mind for privacy as well. The cabin was roomy with a cute little kitchenette. The Lodge's bar area is a nice place to dine, play pool or have a drink, and the breakfast area and buffet were very nice. The staff was clearly worn down from a hectic season and yet were so wonderful and accommodating, and took the time to chat with the people who were staying there. Kudos to Kyle, Ariel, and the rest of the crew. Between them and the wonderfully peaceful location, we will definitely go back. A little more tlc on the cabins would make it a perfect stay.

Title: Disappointing Stay – Poor Management, Unhelpful Staff, and Unclean Rooms My recent stay was incredibly disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. First, the check-in process was far from smooth. We were told that rooms are pre-assigned prior to arrival and that no adjustments could be made—regardless of any reason, big or small. There was zero flexibility or willingness to accommodate guest preferences. The situation only got worse. At around 11 PM, we were locked out of our room because the key had stopped working. We tried contacting the after-hours support line, only to find there was no meaningful help available. When we finally reached Shawn, the property manager, his response was shockingly indifferent. Instead of showing concern or offering assistance, he suggested we go to another hotel—in the middle of the night, in a remote mountain area. What made the situation even more unacceptable was that Shawn never once apologized and took no responsibility or action to improve the clear failure in their after-hours guest support system. His dismissive and unprofessional attitude was not only unhelpful but also unacceptable for any hospitality setting. As if that weren’t enough, the room was poorly maintained, with spider webs hanging in multiple corners—a clear sign of lack of cleanliness and upkeep. I cannot recommend Togwotee Mountain Lodge unless significant improvements are made in guest service, staff attitude, and property maintenance.

I am astonished at how much you are charged to stay in uncleaned, unsafe and buggy cabins. Our friends cabin door was left wide open when we pulled up, and when they asked to change cabins because of that hazard they were given a key to an already occupied cabin. Additionally, the cabin I stayed in was disgusting. Dead bugs all over the place, bathroom that was uncleaned, and windows left wide open and unlocked. We had another cabin booked at another area after this one which was astronomically better (and cheaper) than these. Would not recommend at all.

Mouse droppings all over the room, toilet not flushing, very poor water pressure, very dirty, sofa was absolutely filthy! Will never stay here again! We have requested a portion of our $610.00 back to stay in this dump for 2 nights. Staff was not very accommodating the first day..... Had to stay in that disgusting cabin. Second night in lodge was better, but still dirty furniture, with old tv and mini refrigerator that barley worked on the highest setting.

The room was very dirty. It needs a good cleaning. Corners of bathroom floor had dirt and food in it. Bathroom counter had dust, dirt and hair on the edges and corners. There is no elevator or air-conditioning. Had to leave window open which was hard with so much smoke in the air.

The lodge rooms are very outdated - caulk was peeling off the tub, the tub was not draining properly after a shower, and the room itself was dirty. We found u shaped hair pins in the bathroom and on the carpet in the room. The road noise radiates through the room at all hours of the night and we had to sleep with the windows open since there was no AC or fans. The nicest part was the bartender at the pub being super attentive and friendly.

Contrary to the listing there is no wifi available in the cabins. Cell service was only one bar intermittently. So basically you are off the grid unless you are able to work in public in the main lodge building. The bathtub/shower was stained, the sink had rust stains and a hole in the ceramic, the thermostat didn’t work (setting to 70º felt like 85º). The gas log fireplace worked well. There was a mini-kitchen with a 2 burner stove, but we only used the refrigerator. I would not recommend this property to anyone who requires wifi in their cabin.

We stayed at the lodge, not cabins. Pros- their breakfast is good. It’s a self serve buffet style. Cons- dinner menu leaves a lot to be desired. Go down to Hatchett Ranch instead. You’ll be glad you did. Only light in room was a lamp. No AC, only a window you can open. Very noisy with paper thin walls. Bring ear plugs if noise bothers you. No fan at all in the bathroom. The whole place stays stuffy and dark.

The cabin was adorable. There is no Wi-Fi or cell service in the area at all. Spotty Wi-Fi or listing that there is Wi-Fi is false information. The refrigerator was from 1970 and a little bit dingy but other than that it was a cute space.

The cabin was okay. The kitchenette and bathroom could use updating. The cabin also needs more attention to detail while cleaning. It was an hour drive to Jackson, but it is a scenic drive. Keep in mind there was no cell service and the WiFi cut in and out.

We liked this stay, very unplugged. The ONLY issue is, if you are going to offer WI-FI, it should actually work. We could not make or receive phone calls, emails or texts due to poor reception. We would go back again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I was disappointed in there not being a refrigerator in the room. They did not have air conditioning, but they got us a fan. The coffee maker in the room did not work, but they had coffee in the lobby. No Continental breakfast offered but had a restaurant for $20 per person.

No air conditioning, no bathroom fan. No microwave in room, no fridge, ice machine was not working but front desk would fill your ice container. However, front desk closed at 10 PM. No free breakfast, expensive stay for the experience. Poor outdoor lighting. No elevator. Not worth the $$ paid.

Overall was a good experience but the rooms are not sound proof. Our neighbor room had TV ON until 11pm and we had an early routine to explore the park for 2 nights stay, so we're sleeping around 9pm which was tough if you can't sleep in noise. Downstairs restaurant was decent if you are okay to wait for an hour to get your food on table!! Emily(I think it was her on 31st Aug and 1st Sept, might be wrong) was helpful to us during our stay to let us use the table to eat our own food and helped around for our requests.
Overall was a good experience but the rooms are not sound proof. We really enjoyed our stay at the Togowotee Lodge. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. My only complaint is that there is no elevator which can be difficult carrying your luggage upstairs.

Spend your money elsewhere. Older “blonde” front desk lady with an accent is a rude joke. I told her about an old coffee can with garbage left in it that was on our little porch and she chastised me for leaving it out there. I told her it was there when we checked in and we’d like it removed. Also told her our coffee machine was broken and we’d like to make coffee in the morning since we’re leaving quite early for the park. I didn’t even mention the dirtiness of the kitchenette area or how the linens were old pilly sheets that really needed to be thrown out because she stopped listening when she thought we left the old empty coffee can on the porch. Sigh. Of course it was still there when we came back at the end of the day. Just spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Maggie and Linda at the Front Desk were wonderful. My mother in law has MS and they made every accommodation to assure our stay was Flawless! Clean, Comfortable Room and Close to Grand Teton Plus great staff. We were very happy.

Title: Disappointing Stay – Poor Management, Unhelpful Staff, and Unclean Rooms My recent stay was incredibly disappointing and frustrating from start to finish. New check in person was on a break so we waited 20 minutes in the little lobby before being checked in. Was informed that breakfast was included with our room and was available between 6:30-10 and if we needed anything that evening to let them know before 10pm that night when she would be going home. Got to the room and was literally barged in by the manager on duty apologizing that we had complained about our room which we had not (but should have). TV didn’t work, bathroom was old and grungy looking but had been cleaned well - just wasn’t a $240 per night room by ANY stretch of the imagination. Had drinks and appetizers that night at the bar.. overall that experience was too expensive for what it was but the service staff was nice. Came back with my daughter for dinner as it’s the only place to eat for 20 miles and it was ok but still expensive. $22 for a simple cheeseburger .. but ok. Went to bed and was awoken at 7am to the dumpsters outside our 2nd floor window being emptied. Got up with the noise and went down to breakfast which was not hot. But the real issue came when we were told we would have to pay $20 per person for what amounted to a crappy continental breakfast. The server that brought us water was nice - he was definitely the best part of our entire experience. Just buyer beware. I was upset - $70?! They only charged us for 2 but still garbage treatment. We were told it was included!.. we will never be back - even for great snowmobiling - we will never return.

Restaurant service was horrible. Waiter don’t speak or understand English never cam back to check on us after served raw food. Front desk lazy. Fantastic quiet location in Grand Tetons away from the crowds! Very peaceful. Food for dinner was excellent and bar and dining staff were helpful and offered good customer service. This hotel was affordable compare to staying in Jackson WY however I liked being far from the busyness and it was about a 19-20 min drive to the entrance of Grand Teton. The staff were amazing and friendly! The only downfall is there isn’t much options for food. But we ate at the Restaurant for two nights and the other night we just went to Jackson.

Nice place out aways from the main attractions at Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Rooms were nice and clean. We ate dinner and breakfast there also,food was good. Service was geat. Had no complaints or issue. Would definitely stay there again.

The restaurants are both closed on Sundays, we unfortunately found this out when we arrived at 8pm, 2 families and & 7 kids. There’s no options around for dining. The cabin was clean and cute. It did have the amenities needed. We felt like the price was too high for what you got though compared to the other places we stayed on our 10 day vacation. No ice machine and no breakfast at all except grab and go stuff that you were charged for. Our stay at Togwotee was pleasant. Rooms are nicely decorated, but very dim lighting. Beds are so-so. Togwotee is an isolated location with no eateries within miles. They have one restaurant. We were able to dine there our first night- the trout tacos were delish. However, our second night was on a Sunday. We got back to our room around 3:30pm and waited until 5 for the restaurant to open only to find out that the restaurant is closed on Sunday. We were not told this upon check-in, nor is it posted anywhere on the property or on the website. So here it was 5pm on a Sunday with nowhere to dine for dinner and we were starving after a long day of hiking. The rooms have no refrigerator or microwave either. So bringing your own food is not an option. Luckily, The Hatchet Resort about 10 miles down the mountain road had a lovely restaurant that was open. I highly recommend that resort for its location and dining options. Simple communication from Togwotee staff would’ve been helpful. And since dining options are slim, a refrigerator would be convenient. Togwotee is good if you want to be isolated with minimal dining options. Otherwise I would look elsewhere.

The property has wonderful views to enjoy. I didn’t find the 2nd floor balcony until our last night. It would have been nice to be made aware of this spot to enjoy the evening sky. It was very quiet, beds were comfortable, no air conditioning wasn’t a problem because the nights were cool with the window open. Dinner options were tasty, but breakfast wasn’t worth the price. It was subpar! The stairs are very steep and with the altitude can be an issue. Be prepared for them or ask for a first floor room.

Our cabin was decent. Unfortunately, we went to the saloon and were served extremely watered down drinks. I sent mine back and asked for it to be removed from the bill. I had to get up and ask for menus. The chili was good. Breakfast costs $20 per adult and was mediocre at best. I told the waiter that the self serve coffee urn was empty so he poured in 2 pots. By the time I got to it, it was empty again. It’s a shame that the dining was a very poor experience because the cabin was kind of cute. I would not recommend this to anyone unless they care more for location than experience.

We stayed in one of the cabins it was very clean, the staff was very helpful and the restaurant on site was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. It is a little far from town, but we planned for that, so we didn't have any issues. I chose to stay here due to its proximity to sunrise spots in the Tetons that I wanted to visit early in the morning and it worked well.

This place was about 10 miles from Grand Teton NP and was perfect for our next leg of travel down towards Dubois. which was a beautiful drive. The room was less than staying in Jackson . Gas station on the property, gift shop and a decent restaurant.
