We chose it for pool/hot tub. We arrived to find both were down and had been for weeks. Because we booked with Expedia they offered no refund and wouldn’t allow us to cancel the reservation. We were ripped off!

The stay was …. Ok. The room itself was comfortable, but the pool area was pretty outdated and the hot tub wasn’t hot. Also, they must cater a lot to traveling sports teams, lots of kids running around. Someone above is pacing from 1:30-2:30am? The shower was great!

Overall the property was nice, clean, and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was amazing. There was a tournament in town with lots of kids. She ran nonstop making sure there where towels in the pool area. Could have used another staff member that evening. She was super friendly and kept a smile on her face. The only complaint I would have is the pool was really cold. Other than that our stay was great.

Newly remodeled per sign. Good breakfast and nice business center. The set up of the room has the desk right by where the heater is blowing making it uncomfortable to work, though there is a business center. Lighting is low and nonadjustable throughout the room, again making it difficult to work late at night if that is important to you. Has eco heat that senses your presence to adjust. Found it takes awhile to reach what you want and temp is not even throughout the room. But quiet, good restaurants near by, staff great.

Everything seemed fine upon check in until I started using the room, specifically the bathroom. It looked clean at first glance but then I started to notice hairs that weren’t mine all over the shower, and strange stains that almost looked like dried blood on the bathroom door! I’ve already spoken to front desk about it and they said they’ve had problems with their housekeeping staff. Not really reassuring. Pool was average, hot tub was not very hot and not very bubbly. Also whoever was above me was stomping so loudly it was hard for me to sleep. I had to call front desk twice (after 10 pm which are supposedly quiet hours). If I had known it was so noisy I would’ve stayed at the downtown La Crosse location, which I am at now since the Onalaska location was sold out. Given the price I paid, paid way too much for this room and expected better being a Hampton. I’ve stayed at many Hampton Inns in the past, and that one was one of the worst. Downtown La Crosse is much better, and staff is much more friendly.

Traveling with family, arrived late to the hotel and checked in 9:30-10pm for a sports competition the next day. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana smoke. Extremely dissatisfied, will not be staying at a Hampton Inn again.

The breakfast staff was wonderful, kept the area clean and constantly refilled the food supplies. The room staff started with trash under the table between the beds where it stayed the entire week we were there. It was never picked up. Ugh.

Loved that breakfast was offered. Staff was great. Only thing I did not care for was the shower. Seemed dirty, glass was cloudy and didn’t look clean…our shower had rusting on parts near floor which looked grimey. We were in 205 and room was decent but looked like it was cleaned quickly, and not thoroughly. We came from MN, 3 hr and 45 min drive to stay there and had an extra hour to check out but would’ve appreciated being able to stay until 1 instead of noon. Just posting so maybe these requests can be resolved or satisfactory for future guests. Thank you

The first room they checked me into was never cleaned, beds had been slept in, no toilet paper in the bathroom. Went to front desk, they apologized and gave $25 gift card and a new room. Second room was disgusting, bed spread and who knows what all over, floor had food left behind. Called the front desk had them come to the room to see for themselves, again apologized for the unclean rooms and again checked us into a different room them looked in before handing us the keys. Front desk staff was good about the whole thing.

The air conditioning and heat would remain on wouldnt set all the time - so it either kept getting colder and colder or hotter and hotter. Looked like the “set” button was missing? Shower was dirty, hair on the towels, fridge had food smears, and sheets wouldn’t stay around the corners of the bed even when I tried to fix it. Breakfast, whirlpool, and front desk staff were nice though.

A good place, clean and well-maintained. However, there's room for improvement in terms of the somewhat dicey AC system. MOST IMPORTANT, THOUGH, IS THE NEED FOR THE BEDDING TO USE HYPO-ALLERGENIC SHEETS TO AVOID ITCHING, ETC.

Very well updated rooms and property. The building itself is an older hotel, but the inside is clean and well re-done. Carpet in the rooms is a little dingy and could be replaced, but overall very clean room. Could use new pillows for the bed, but overall bed and bedding looked clean. I am pretty picky when it comes to hotels. It was a nice place to stay and for the price even better. Microwave and mini fridge in the room.

There are three dining options that are great, diverse and closeby (no need to drive). We requested towels and trash removal etc with the front desk at 8 am and they never came. It is frustrating to come back at the end of a long day when housekeeping doesn't do those things, especially after requesting.

I stayed only one night it was very clean, and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good and filling. I had just completed a 24 hr endurance event and I looked it I just completed it when I walked in, but your staff was very helpful and nice. My room was comfortable will stay again next for same event.

Other than the card reader/programmer not working (did not affect my stay at all) the stay was wonderful. Room was clean and well set up, staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast hostess was on point, sweet and kept the dining area polished and well-stocked. Great work everyone.

We had to look for a last minute room since the hotel we originally booked was full. I am glad we booked the Hamptons after experiencing unprofessional service at the hotel we originally booked. Checking in at Hamptons was easy and smooth. The clerk was respectful and helpful. The room was clean and breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Even though it cost us more than we originally planned, I'm glad we stayed at the Hamptons.
