Breakfast is mediocre. Same basic items every morning. The pool was closed 3 out of the 5 days due to draining and cleaning. Staff was very friendly and nice. Sent us to the wrong room and floor when we first checked in, only figured it out because the key card wouldnt work. Maintenance knocked on the door once sayinf they were told our room was vacant and the sink didnt work?? Who knows what that was about because he left and the aink worked. Bed is uncomfy and oull out sofa you can feel wvery spring! Very convinient kitchen in room (no oven, jusy stove-top). Very nice area, close to walking distance of a cute little town!!!

nice place but as someone else stated the property is a little tired. Not many outlets for p/c, phones, etc. Kitchen and bathroom appliances ok but could be updated. Pull out sofa terrible mattress. But, very friendly staff, public areas very clean, typical hotel breakfast, Wednesday evening crackers and cheese. Pool/hot tub area clean.

Very friendly staff, responded to room needs promptly. Pool was clean, great breakfast options (plenty variety). Coffee stand always ready for guests. The only thing was the hotel does look to be on the older, outdated side and the hot tub didn't seem too clean.

Very friendly staff. They quickly took care of trash in front of property someone left. Pool and hot tub were wonderful. Assortment of foods delicious and appreciated- every Wednesday there is an appetizer hour! The only problem was a long wait on hot water from our sink but they sent someone over to check and it required more fixing (They did offer to change our rooms). Great stay with helpful and warm staff.

Excellent stay! Facilities were immaculate, staff uber helpful and friendly, good pool and hot tub, great breakfast options. We will definitely be returning! Love the cozy fireplace in the lobby. Beds nice and comfy-kitchen huge plus!!

Room was outdated, damp and smell musty. Bed linens was thin and pilled. No fluffy blanket just thin bed cover. I didn’t feel the bed was clean enough. Breakfast quality was not at all impressive: oily omelet, fatty sausages.

Falls Church is an excellent place to stay. We had a wonderful trip and the hotel is conveniently located near the shopping area. It’s right by the exit of Highway 29 and 50, and I-495 and I-66 are just a minute away. The location is truly excellent. The hotel is clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. The breakfast food is great, and there’s a nice swimming pool. However, the hotel is a bit outdated and needs some love, but it’s still very clean. One issue we had was that we could hear the neighbors very well. If they were a bit loud or laughed in the middle of the night, we could be awake. I hope they can upgrade the hotel a bit, but for the price, I think it’s still a great value.

Despite everything looking to be in order, we saw multiple cockroaches in the room. We were so creeped out and unhappy that we packed up our luggage and two kids and left immediately after speaking to the front desk that said they could not do anything for us and didn’t even apologize! How disgusting !!

The staff was friendly, the pool was terrific, and the room was in really good condition. The only issue was that there was a little urine on the toilet seat, but a little soap and water cleaned it up easily.

You get what you pay for. Obviously this is a budget motel, so I went in with low expectations, but was still pretty grossed out…found a fully intact dime-sized roach cooked into the complementary breakfast eggs. Spots of mould in the bathroom. Dishwasher had dirty water in it when we arrived. The microwave was dirty as well. Stains on the carpet, holes in the curtains, sketchy people parked in the parking lot. When mentioning some of the more relevant things to the staff, they just gave us Pringles and some bottled water…

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the excellent service at the front desk. The two gentlemen working there were extremely helpful, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was enjoyable. We reserved a one-bedroom suite and we were assigned room 716, on the top floor at the end of the hall. The room was quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel had been recently renovated, and as a result everything was in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped and very convenient for a dinner in after a long drive. The desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was better than average for Homewood Suites, with a crusty baked egg dish that was nice. The only negatives were an Analog thermostat that was a little touchy, and a bathroom fan that can’t be turned off.

We were in town to attend a very special family event. I booked this particular room because the images of the room depicted a room that would offer some privacy for 4 people. However, in the images of the room, the location of the bathroom was misleading. It was actually inside the master bedroom, making it awkward for the 2 adults sleeping in the living room to be able to access it. The door latch on the Master Bedroom was not functional, so again, less privacy than we expected. The room was clean. We liked the art, especially. When we checked in we were asked several times if we had already paid. It was very odd to me that the two people working the desk didn't know and were unable to figure it out. Hopefully we won't be charged twice. We booked a room for 4 people, but only 3 sets of towels were in the room. Little details. The hotel was VERY quiet. We never even heard hallway noise. The continental breakfast was delicious, although the dining area doesn't accommodate enough people.

The front desk service was good - they made an adjustment to my reservation when I checked in, as I requested. The breakfast options were very good. The bathroom, beds, and kitchen were clean. My room was spacious enough, kitchen was well appointed. I found the bed comfortable and would stay again. However, the curtains had a food stain and there was a dead housefly in the window frame, so I think only frequently used things are cleaned regularly. It was not a quiet stay. I heard plumbing, elevators, kids in the next group over, and sirens - I think there's an emergency station nearby. However those sirens would also have been within hearing distance of any hotel in the area. I'm not a light sleeper, but my roommate was annoyed. The light switches were hard to find and the closet was small. None of these were deal breakers for me, especially since the service was good and the important things were clean.

Nice, comfortable clean room. Amenities were very good - coffee, dishes, fridge, etc. Beds were an 8 out of 10. Bedcovers were nice but a little heavy. Living room sofa (a fold out bed?) was like sitting on a board, not comfortable. Bathroom was excellent with one exception, the handheld shower wand didn’t work, however the shower worked ok and the tub was excellent with a non-slip area that greatly helped safely standing in the tub. Overall a very nice room.

Front desk manager never present. I waited for over 20 minutes for checked in. Never seen anyone at check out. Staffs for breakfast is never happy keep complaining about why so many guests today. Overall, I am not happy with the stays and wont return to this location

So the property could use a remodel, but overall still a great stay. Check in was super smooth, the lady at the front desk was beyond nice and friendly and helpful with directions to the metro. Free breakfast and a nice hot tub and pool… not much to complain about. Would stay again if in the area.

Disgruntled staff made the experience unpleasant from the start. The dishwasher in the kitchenette was installed properly nor securely fastened to the wall. This caused a big safety issue when opened the first time and my guest almost went tumbling. The grounds have poisonous berries and ant piles making it tough for the service animal to be walked and relieve himself in the appropriate areas. Overall, it was such an unsafe and unpleasant experience that we had no choice but to check-out early and find alternate accommodations.

Pretty good value and a good place to stay in DC area if you’re there with kids. Free breakfast, pool and large rooms available, as well as free parking. The area the hotel is located in is very busy, which is both a bit of a cluster when driving, and convenient if you need something outside of the hotel. The Metro station is not really walking distance unless you consider about a 30 min walk mostly uphill “walking distance”. It’s about a 40 min metro ride to L’enfant (a pretty central location for tourists), and about an hour and 20 mins or so ride to the zoo. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Staff was super nice. Overall a good value - nothing fancy, and a little far away, but it was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed it.

This place was really nice. We stayed for a week on a business trip. Breakfast was great and the Wednesday night dinner was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. We did have a problem with the shower plumbing but that was fixed right away. We’ll be returning in the future!

Great service from the manager and assistant manager when checking in. The only thing that wasn't top notch was the breakfast. It was the same exact food every single day, eggs and potatoes with onions and peppers. Wish there was more variety. Some days the eggs were perfect, and others they were runny and inedible. The room was great, met our needs perfectly. Our daughter loved the pool area.
