There was no mention of the type of breakfast on the description. It was grab and go but that wasn’t mentioned on Expedia. It was only coffee and muffins and oatmeal. There were roaches in 2/3 rooms I booked. Housekeeping only cleaned every 7 days. I had to take my own trash out and go downstairs to ask for towels bc the phone didn’t work. Overall since it’s an extended stay it’s decent. But for a family vacation it won’t work if you’re used to full service with issues such as the key kept messing up and locking me out. And the roaches throughout. It’s not the experience I anticipated. I won’t book an extended stay again since I now understand you pretty much are on your own as far as cleaning and asking for basic needs like trash bags and towels. Staff were great, that’s about the only thing that was okay, besides the full size kitchen. That was nice too. But again, had roaches.

Will start off by saying the property is hardly maintained…… the lobby is very small. No one is ever available at the front desk, you got to keep ringing bell to call someone….. shampoo , soap, dishes, dish washer needs to be carried by the customer to their room even towels , blankets and sheets. No ice maker, in the name of breakfast it’s just muffins and coffee which stinks. The elevator may fall any time or stop working while in operation ,,,, and it is too load and gives jolts scaring the sh**t out of people…..rooms are not cleaned… linen stinks…..on checkout time the front desk who is also the manager on duty will come up to your room and knock to practically get out of the room. No more going back to the property again.

First room we checked into had mold visible on chair and sofa bed . After that 2nd room did not have mold but not clean. We bought clraning supplies and cleaned but floorboards coming up and cracking. Stayed in other extended stay accommodations before and no issues but due to lack of cleanliness did not even try their breakfast items- not rven coffee. Thats bad!! We checked in 9:30 pm. Had we gone earlier we may have tried to cancel stay but places booked already. Do not recommend. Also elevator broke down during our stay. Only good thing eas centrally located and found a.great breakfast spot. Corpus location on staples st.

Its a nive place but they dont have ice machine,and breakfast.

Chose this place for the pool and breakfast. The pool was dirty and people were drinking and smoking in the water. The free breakfast was old muffins, ran out of coffee and package oatmeal. The room had werid stains on the carpet and beds. Had no ice in hotel except for these empty ice trays. No trash cans in the room at all. Tried using the stove it started smoking like it was going to catch on fire.

I arrived at the property at 3:10 or so, there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell, called the number and nothing. Other guests had arrived so there was a group of 4 different families waiting. The front desk clerk finally showed up an hour and a half later. She had an attitude and said she was outside throwing thrash. She was unapologetic and uncaring. After I got my room I got the kids ready to go to the pool only to see a sign on the pool that said "closed temporarily" so I go back to the front desk, now she is eating and I ask her about the pool, she says it\'s going to be closed till May. Its Spring break and the only reason we rented a room was for a staycation to get away and go swimming in a pool. I saw another guest with kids ready to go swimming and I asked her if she had been to the pool she replied no, I told her it was closed and she got upset because she said she had called prior to making a reservation and specifically asked about the pool and was told that the pool was open. To make matters worse, I found a dirty sock under one of the beds and the sofa bed sheet was dirty, under it was a dirty , debris and a beer top as well. I am deeply dissapointed and have never in my life had such bad experience in a hotel. I just wanted to spend time with my grandbabies swimming then order pizza while watching movies.

Elevator was broken, first room had a big puddle in the kitchen, no hair conditioner, and I wouldn't ever call that breakfast, maybe a snack at best. Prepackaged muffins and oatmeal. There was no juice or fruit. Our door was difficult opening and closing. Overall, disappointing.

Rating this stay was a 4/5. The positives: the staff is amazing! Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The amenities are decent with a small pool, laundry on site and a small gym. The room was spacious with laminate flooring(thank goodness). The downsides: The exit door close to our room SLAMMED every time someone came through, it was loud enough to wake the dead. The kitchenette was perfect expect the mislabeled knobs on the stovetop/oven. I had to guess what burner and temperature I was using each time. And finally, there was an infestation of small roaches. Not a deal breaker for me since i never saw them in the living areas, but goodness did they love the bathroom. I would dispatch them multiple times a day. Overall the stay was very pleasant and had everything that we needed for a a few days.

I liked the option of being able to bring your own groceries, and they would supply you with the pots and pans if need be. The only thing I did not like was that there was not an ice machine. But they did give ice trays in the refrigerator so you can fill and make ice.

Many issues regarding this stay. When we booked, information stayed the room sleeps 6, with a sofa bed. There were only two beds in the room, no sofa. Key cards were constantly deactivating. No trash cans in the room. Pool area was filthy and out daughter refused to swim. Trash was over flowing (likely due to no trash cans in the room). Not enough toilet paper, also needed more towels for a room that sleeps 6. Last but certainly not least, the 4 bugs that looked like small roaches that we found and killed. Had it not been a holiday weekend, with very limited hotel options, we would have left. Didn't feel comfortable or clean in our room.

We have stayed here before plenty of times and like the location and that it’s close to a lot of major stores. The rooms, are large enough for a family. Just these past couple times: we have dealt with roaches. We gave it the second chance after the first time this past weekend, and we found 6 roaches within our 2 night stay. Some even smashed in our towels. The room didn’t have no trash can, and the bed cover was dirty. I think we did our last booking here. Thank you but next.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This property was gross. We found 2 cockroaches on night 1, and the sheets were dirty. When we asked for the bedding for the pull out couch, it was a waded up mess so unclear if it was even clean or just being reused at that point. Staff was nice but property was nasty. Do not recommend staying here. We even checked out after our first night and found somewhere else to stay for the rest of our 5 night stay as it was so bad we couldn’t remain there.

The people upstairs where horribly loud all night. The front desk talked to them, but the noise never stopped. There were also roaches in my room. The back of the bathroom door was disgusting. The staff was really great but the hotel overall was nasty.

There was nothing to like..upon entry it was dirty and musty. I wanted to ask if i could vacuum. The whole entire place needed cleaning..ALL THE FLOORS WERE DIRTY WITH TRASH, TRASH CANS FULL. i wouldnt dare eat ehatever rhe breakfast may have been just seeing how dirty the rest of the place was. AND THERE WERE FLEAS!!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN MFERS!

It was kinda mid. Has someone who's a fastidious cleaner of their space is specially in the restroom, it really bothered me that I got out of the shower that was not only mildewing but had residue on the inside of the curtain...

Our room was a total mess: the carpet was dirty, rust on lamp, dirty fingerprints on the bathroom door, no cleaning services during our four nights stay, the « breakfast included » should be identify as « coffee, muffins and oatmeal packs… only one roll of toilet paper for our entire stay, toilet seat broken, shower curtain with mold stain, dirty windows, etc, etc…

Worst hotel ever, Bedding was filthy, roaches all over the place. They even had roach bait in the restroom. HORRIBLE!!! I complained to front desk, they offered another room and turned out to be the same or worse with roaches. NEVER EVER STAY HERE!!

The kitchen walls and fridge door had not been cleaned in awhile. Iron was not clean and I encountered a few roaches in my room

Very good sized room. Quiet location, no highway/freeway noise

When we first got there it was hot in the room so we turned the AC down to 65 which it did nothing. The front desk came to look at it and said nothing was wrong with it. The pull out couch was broken so my son and nephew had to sleep on the floor our entire stay. The beds were hard as rocks. I am very disappointed with this extended stay and will not be returning.

Our check in was great, but our room wasnt, it was dirty, the couch was stuck and we couldnt use it. We saw chips in the couch, hair, etc in the floor. Then we moved to another room, the coach was OK, the floor was too dirty, our socks end black. I think if they make an effort to clean the rooms correctly, thay have a great place to stay.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I was excited about having the kitchen area in our room. The fridge was a great size as well. There was plenty of space to just relax. I appreciated having 2 beds and a sofa bed. Everyone had a spot. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It’s not as nice as the photos show in the listing. It definitely looks more rundown in person. The sign for the place is hard to see from the road! Fairly close to many shops and restaurants. Close to main roads. It’s not the most awful place to stay, but don’t expect greatness. Also, the room doors slam shut, so I’d hear my neighbors coming and going all the time because their door would slam every time. The continental breakfast is also very lacking. They only had coffee, instant oatmeal, small muffins and granola bars.

I like the room set up, it was very spacious. Breakfast could have been better, I like the pool hours, the water wasn’t hot in the shower but I like that they offered extra towels, overall it was pretty nice and would more than likely stay there again.

I booked a room with two beds and a pullout couch. The couch did not pull out it was stuck. If that was the case I would have just booked the room with double beds and not the one with the couch. The air condition made a lot of noise. We stayed because it was only for one night. The staff was nice but I didn't like the hotel.

The property was clean and staff was friendly. Our door lock needed the batteries replaced and front desk staff came up with me and took care of it right away. The property is close to dining and a 20ish minute drive to the aquarium etc. Although clean, the property is clearly run down. The floor in our room was very hilly and the bathtub needed recalling. Our room door would stick every few times and we’d have to finagle it to get it open.

We booked a 4 night stay here. The AC in our room was making clicking sounds all night so we asked to move to a buffet room. Let me tell you, Hashar was the manager at the time and he was the manager for a reason! He was very polite, professional and accommodating. He got a new room and it was great. Thank you for your excellent service. Your staff was also friendly too. Thank you for the hospitality.

We had a late check in and I had called in advance to confirm my room. When I got there at 1 am we got our keys went up to our room and they had given us the wrong room I went and talked to the front desk lady and she told me there were no more rooms available for the night! I was upset because I had 3 small children one being a 5 month old so we needed a place to sleep fast and they gave us a room with 1 bed it was unacceptable I still have yet to receive my refund. We had to drive to a different town to find a hotel with rooms available will never be staying here again.

Despite booking a reservation over a week prior arrived to be told there were no rooms available. They made no attempt to contact ahead of time to inform me to allow alternate arrangements to be made. They stated it is due to current residents being allowed to extend there stay and there was nothing they could do. No attempt to help at all for a 3 night stay

The people there were very kind and attentive. I had made an online reservation for 2 nights. When I checked in, I had asked how much it would be add another night. I was told I would have to create a separate reservation but I would be able to keep the same room, would just need a new key. I told whoever I was speaking to that I would let them know later if I did want to add another night. As my family and I were packing up to check out there was a knock at the door. It was one of the front desk clerks. They asked me if i wanted to extend. I thought it was nice of them to ask. Made it seem like they remembered the conversation we had during check in.

Had a nice week, TV remote didn't work and they brought me another in no time at all. Very friendly staff no problem at all.

The area felt unsafe. There were several men standing around the front door, some were smoking. The smell hit your face , they looked like they were up to no good. The rooms were not very clean. I rented 2 rooms one had a dirty Q- Tip under a folded towel on the bathroom sink. Seen a few roaches in both rooms. Also there Wes roach feces on the outlets. I felt gross out. We will not be coming here again. The only good thing was the lady at the front desk was was kind.

It has a lot of areas nearby. I didn't like the loudness of the person who walked near the rooms.

Firstly, I want to commend the staff. The property is a bit run down and in need of a good scrubbing, but the staff were friendly and helpful. The room needed mopping badly. All the bedsheets were stained. The pullout mattress was dingy and discolored. The floors were very uneven and sloping. The room layout was awkward. The microwave barely fit a standard sized paper plate. You have to pay a deposit for kitchenware. The towels are thin and small, and you have to ask for toilet paper by the roll. Getting in and out of the hotel was difficult due to the amount of traffic on Staples Street. However, it’s convenient to shopping and restaurants and was quite affordable for an extended stay. All in all, probably good for individuals on work assignments, but I would not bring my family again.

Elevator smelled like dog pee and hall way smelled like dog poop. Hotel said it had breakfast. Only had muffins and coffee.

I stayed here during spring break, and while there were some positives, the experience was disappointing. The listing advertised free breakfast, but it only included coffee, packaged muffins, unflavored oatmeal, and hot water—not a standard breakfast. On the second day, there weren’t even muffins left when we came down a little before 9 AM. This felt misleading. The front desk was often unattended. When we checked in, I waited about five minutes before someone yelled, “I’m coming!” from the back. They were friendly but unprofessional. Our first room smelled horrible, so we requested a change. The new room was clean and included a kitchenette, but the listing didn’t mention that kitchen essentials (plates, pots, etc.) cost an extra $40. We would’ve brought our own if we’d known. The pool was dirty and unusable, which disappointed my kids. On the last day, the elevator broke down. Nights were noisy due to banging sounds above us, and while the air conditioner kept the room cool, it was very loud. Overall, while the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, misleading amenities and maintenance issues made for a frustrating stay. The hotel should update its listing to reflect reality and improve its facilities.

False dvertised amenities. I picked this place for price and free breakfast. They had 4 mini chocolate muffins and about 5 breakfast bars and lukewarm coffee. Cream was available. No water, ice or orange juice. Shampoo and bar soap was available in room. No hair conditioner or lotion. No ice machines at hotel. Other than that, nice hotel. Location is okay if you don't mind horrible traffic.

breakfast not what i expected

Their Continental Breakfast was the worst one we've ever come across. Very few items to chose from. No protein options at all like eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt!!! No fruit, waffles, toast, pb&j, etc. We didn't know we had to check out kitchen items from the front desk. Carpeting had seen much better days. The bathroom ventilation fan wasn't working, no trash can in the bathroom & the water pressure was terrible. No cover on the fire detector

Staff was courteous and helpful. Lobby was very dirty on arrival. Shower spray was a little more than a trickle. Breakfast was muffins and oatmeal packs.
