Pool area had about 40 to 50 people in it. Most of the people were not staying at hotel. It was very unfortunate that our kids couldn't swim. There was also someone with a dog in the pool. Marijuana smoke filled the air in pool area and inside hotel. Pool area was out of hand with no staff walk through or anything. I'm very disappointed in our stay.

Parking terrible! Air conditioning didn’t work very well. Room musty smelling and to top it off our vehicle was broken into along with several others. Thought staying on this side of Memphis was as okay….. but apparently not.

Spacious room, great for the price. Property was obviously older, but pretty well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Check-in staff was very friendly. Morning staff not so much. Maybe they still needed to finish their coffee. Parking spots are at a premium; that was probably the worst of it. Plenty of parking all around, but none of it allowed for the hotel guests.

The hotel has extremely limited parking. We had to always park down the hill and behind the hotel. No security and other cars had busted out windows with garbage bags half covering and half torn off. We emptied everything from our vehicle and were glad we were not vandalized. In the room it was a suite and there was one half with a kitchen and living room type area but the 2 queen beds were squeezed into the room with only 4 inches between the bed and wall. I had to crawl over the end to get in and out of bed. I think my daughter had the most room with the sofa bed. Overall it was clean, our teens liked the pool too.

We loved the suite we had, a bedroom with a kitchen / living room combo. It had a queen fold out bed. The location was convenient and the facility was nice. Breakfast was good, but only included a fried chicken patty for meat (no bacon or sausage). The biggest negative is high crime. Everyone we saw told us to empty our car and leave the door unlocked. The reason given were teenaged criminals who break into parked cars on a nightly basis. We did as instructed and nobody broke into our car. However, the back lot is littered with broken glass from car windows.

There was very limited parking so we were forced to park at a neighboring business . There was no security and 24 vehicles were broken into that night one of which was ours granted nothing was taken they just did enough to make it an inconvenience for the begging of our trip. Other then that the actual facility was nice . Clean, and staff was friendly. Breakfast was not that great

Upon arrival and on our way to our room, we noticed a very strong smell of smoke on our non-smoking floor, from the elevator to our room - the smell was strong the entire long walk down two hallways. We brought it immediately to the attention of the front desk staff to have it addressed. We mentioned it again to hotel staff the next day. The smoke smell was never addressed, and staff never talked to us about it. The smell remained fresh and strong our entire stay - even early in the morning. Needless to say, we were very disappointed about our stay at this hotel. Especially as we chose it based on the reviews on Expedia. (We have also relayed this feedback on the to the hotel, but have not heard any response.)

The room said it was cleaned by Miguel. We saw food behind the nightstand in bedroom and dead bug on floor in bathroom. When I wiped counters down with Clorox wipes, it was a lot of dirt on the cloth.

We always love staying at Staybridge Hotels. This one was probably the most rundown of the ones I've stayed at. It is a non-smoking facility, but there was so much marijuana smoking going on that it was pretty awful. The shower had hair in it and mold. The great part is that it was in a safe area with security patrolling at night.

Pros: Neighborhood felt safe. Front desk staff were friendly. Free breakfast (typical hotel breakfast fare). Separate living area from bedrooms which is so nice when traveling with kids. Pool area looked decent, but we didn’t use. Cons: Entire property is need of updating and maintenance! Lights out in elevators so they were very dark. Water stains on ceilings in room. Rooms were clean enough that I didn’t complain, but they really needed to be cleaned. Floors were sticky. Thick dust on vents and sprinklers in room. Mold in shower (very inadequate ventilation in bathroom). Carpet was obviously not vacuumed. Windows were filthy and actually had words and faces that were “drawn” on by fingers on the glass by previous guest. Overall, it wasn’t gross. It was adequate enough that I stayed and didn’t complain. But I would not be back without some major changes and updates.

We stayed 1 night at the Staybridge. The rooms are older but very large. The bedroom seemed a little cramped but the bathroom and kitchen/livingroom were large. The breakfast is honestly the best hotel breakfast we've had in a long time!! Brenda, the breakfast attendant, was amazing! The choices were abundant and we all left full!

A nice, well run establishment. My only complaint is that a lot of noise comes through the doors that join adjacent rooms. For some reason, the family next door was very boisterous at 3:00 AM!

The hotel was over nice, our room had a full kitchen which was a nice feature. The only down fall is it was late when we arrived the guy working was sleeping and it was kind of hard to wake him up. I was super tired myself so I was getting cranky that I was dealing with someone who was still half alseep. The morning crew who works the counter and kitchen was much more awake and efficient.

We stayed two nights here for sight-seeing with some friends. Service was excellent and the suite was great. Only a really minor thing...There was only one package of coffee even though we were there two mornings. We enjoyed coffee in our suite so it would have been nice to have two packages. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and will come back if in Memphis again. We had our dog with us and it was nice to be able to spread out some.

Property was clean and well maintained. The Breakfast room was clean and the staff was quick to replace items that needed replenished. At check in the young lady was very robotic, no eye contact, no smile just ran through the information like she was on fire, guess she needed to get back to her social. The receptionist was very sweet when we check out, she was engaging.

I reserved and paid for 2 rooms in advance. When i arrived I was informed that I had only one room reserved and the hotel was booked. The next morning I given my second reserved room and was told that it was available the night prior. They had my whole family crammed in one room for a night. Then told me that I had actually reserved 2 rooms and never checked in to the other room. After all the confusion and inconvenience, i am still waiting for reimbursement for a night I did not use one of their rooms and spent the night sleeping on the floor. Terribly disappointed!

Without exception, the staff were the NICEST bunch I have ever seen, from reception to the hosts to the cleaning crews. VERY friendly, with excellent service. The breakfast was fantastic, and the manager's reception in the evening was a nice relaxing break, with beer and wine and some light food. Overall, a fantastic bargain and wonderful stay!

After reading tons of reviews of hotels in the Memphis area, we hesitantly booked the Staybridge. It was wonderful. The rooms were cleaned and spacious. Area was nice that we took walks in the morning and never dinner feel not safe. Highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a very quiet location, almost in a business park area. Parking was easy, rooms were spacious and clean and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and nice to have fresh fruit. Overall. very positive

Close to a lot of popluar areas. Breakfast was okay, decent selection. Couldve used better meat options like bacon once in a while, or gravy for the biscuits. Staff was nice. Room curtains were dirty and broken, couldnt shut all the way because of it. Shower head had water rust and buildup, handicap assemble showers way small. Other than that, room was pretty clean, comfy beds and pillows. Nice appliances and dishes are a bonus.

I love the amenities of Staybridge Suites. It makes traveling with an infant easy. Breakfast was fresh and really good and the attendant was awesome interacting with guests.

The water in the sinks initially came out brown in color. Did not trust it for cooking or drinking. Used our bottle water for brushing teeth. The toilet flapper did not seat each time you flushed to the toilet continuously ran until you jiggled the handle. When it was filling or running there was a high pitched sound. Breakfast was marginal moldy bagels the cral seemed stale.
