A lot of the fitness equipment does not work, the pool is freezing cold and the temperature of the pool area is not heated to a degree you would be able to swim in a cold pool. The staff was kind.

We arrived and it appears rundown. The pool heater was broken. So no pool. The elevator banged. In the room, the balcony door didn’t lock and the phone didn’t work. No complimentary breakfast, no pool, no hot tub…no more staying.

The king loft suite was awesome. The decor is somewhat dated, but the room itself was clean and the staff was awesome. The lobby and conference center are nice and updated but the rooms/hotel hallways could be improved. Has a pool and sauna but no hot tub.

This is a really cool property. Sadly it’s been neglected. Was a hot day when we checked in. Apparently there isn’t any A/C in the lobby area. It was hot and humid. Poor lady at the desk had a tiny fan blowing on her. Everything was in need of a good cleaning. The outdoor pool water was several inches below the skimmers which means the water wasn’t being treated with chemicals. It was also full of leaves and debris like it hadn’t been skimmed in days. Only one elevator was working and the door slammed hard each time it closed. Would loved to have seen this hotel back in the day when it was vibrant, shiny and new.

Pros: great view, location, has indoor and outdoor pools, lounge withing hotel, clean towels and beddings, sauna Cons: outdated, most of the staff falling apart, coffeemaker didnt work, phone wasnt working, toilet seat very old, showers within pool area not working but clean, ceiling looks like soon will fall in the room.

Great location very close to Camelback ski area. Staff were friendly and helpful at checkin and checkout. We enjoyed using the heated indoor pool and sauna. Sadly, the whirlpool there has been filled with concrete. Hotel is good value (reasonable rates at start of ski season mid december). It could use a little updating and some things were a little creaky. But overall, we really like our time at Chateau.

Family of 4, two kids. Start with the good. Libby was very nice. Parking easy. Friendly reception. Now. The bad. Extremely outdated, which would not be an issue, except for the many stained/possibly dirty areas. Old furniture. Tub spout (old and stained) not screwed all the way in. Tub not draining properly (ended up not showering). Broken sofa (also looked dirty). Old and small TV. Bed sheets, while didn’t feel dirty, felt weird. Almost sticky. Hard to explain. Now I have it two stars (poor) because for what we needed it for, it worked. Decided to drive down late at night instead of working up early and driving 3 hours to great wolf. So we arrived around 11pm and was gone at 9am. For the price I paid, it worked. If I were staying longer, I would have given it 1 star and possibly requested a new room

The room was not up to the standards we expected. There were several random hairs in the room. We found two pill bottles in the bedside nightstand. There was a dead wasp inside by the sliding door, indicating that it was not properly cleaned since it was warm outside. The entire outlet socket was out of the wall, on the floor, under the a/c, heat unit. The drawer in the desk was removed. There was hair in the tub drain. The tv was not plugged in, but when we did plug it in, it didn't work anyway. It just really did not feel clean at all and I was very disappointed for what I thought was going to be a enjoyable stay.

There was an odd smell in the elevator, the bathroom wasn’t as clean as one would like, and the lighting was very yellow and just set a mood that I was glad I was only staying one night. Towels were left through the hotel and all around outside and in the middle of the night j was feeling itchy and felt something and it was a beetle and also seen a beetles on the windows. Just wasn’t a fan. The outside did have a beautiful view and wild life all around.

The property appeared clean, the rooms and hallways carried an odor, almost everything is dated or broken, the patio door was broken, the bedding and towels had soiling which really added to the discomfort. Would never put a foot there again, thankfully it was only for a night.

The room was clean, except for a blood smear on the bathroom door frame ( right at eye level). Not sure how the room attendant missed that. TV was a little tricky to get started, but worked. Room keys were constantly de-magnetized. Pool towels were never available, they were not replenished on Saturday, although we did manage to get some on Sunday. The pool area was nice, and the pool large, and mostly clean. I say mostly because the walls could use a good scrubbing. The staff was wonderful, best part of the stay. Friendly, informative, and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Great price for the location. View of balcony great. Beds were more comfortable than camelback. Hotel however is very out of date ( wallpaper peeling, plugs in room not working correctly). But for as sketchy looking as it was in some ways, it was cheap for the location and for someone like us - who just sleeps there- it was fine.

Absolutely perfect view of the mountains so beautiful. The hotel could use an update. Our room didn't have a mini fridge and was so old and not very clean. For it being considered a suite I thought it would have been a little updated. We did eat there and it was good. Overall we had a nice time it was fine just for a night.

The hotel is old. The lobby was bright and welcoming. The rooms were old and tired, bathroom clean, but old. Walls were paper thin. Could hear the little kids next door carrying on at 1am. They were running around in the hall before they went in next door. I thought I was in for a long sleepless night, but I managed to get back to sleep. The breakfast is not included, costs about $16, eggs not very good, but everything else was as to be expected. The grounds around the hotel were nice. Didn’t get to spend much time there, as we just got the room for one night.

We stayed in this hotel often before the COVID pandemics. Compared to then, rooms and a elevator have become cleaner, and the staff were helpful. It is a great place to stay for skiing. It has a great potential to become a four-star hotel, if the following improvements were made: - Improve the internet connections-- they are so slow. - Improve the TV connections: add the major channels (CBS, NBC, ABC, PBS). - Install a refrigerator, a microwave, and a decent coffee make in each guest room. - Place glass cups, instead of plastic cups. - Place a self-service coffee/tea machine in the lobby. - Place a desk or table in the lobby to work with computers temporary. - Get a liquor license for the restaurant.

It was loud. I listened to the people next door all night through the ajoining door. A lot of kids were staying in the hotel, so a lot of running which echoed everywhere. I stayed on the mountain side, that was a mistake. The traffic was pretty loud all night. The room was in need of a major update. Peeling paint & the balcony door was broken and didn't fully close. It was however clean. I was only there for one night, but I wouldn't go again.

It was inexpensive, but it had value for money, but the place is very down. It looks like it hasn't been renovated since the 80's, but for $125 a night, it was safe, comfortable, quiet, and literally on the resort.

This hotel is all about the view. Rooms are sub par, toilet seat not stable, sink drains very slow. Roof of the property has missing pieces. Indoor pool not heated, too cold for a dip. Fitness room ok. Restaurant was good with excellent views. Mattress was good, pillers cheap. Not many TV stations. Has Keurig coffee maker with coffee.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I will leave a review for this hotel. We were booked for two nights. On the 1st night we were placed in a room where we were surrounded by college students who decided to have a frat party. Smoking cigarettes, marijuana and cigars. They were very loud. They were slamming each other against the walls next door to our room. The smoke fumes where coming into our room. We called the front desk and complained and the person told me that a security guard was there but that has no effect on the party and then he told me to go out there and tell them to stop. We were unable to sleep. The next morning we left very early, but before we left we explained everything to the front desk personnel. The only thing nice was the view which we could not enjoy. We are still waiting for a call from the manager. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff and service was great. The facilities are in desperate need of updating. There was only one working elevator which can happen sometimes. However, the wallpaper was peeling back on the walls in my loft king suite. The carpet in the hall leading to the suite was extremely old and appeared dirty. I remember the excellence of the Chateau and I was extremely disappointed in its lack of upkeep.

The room was ok. No staff to refresh the room. The restaurant was suppose to open at 5:00pm and we had a 10% coupon for dinner. It was closed because the wait staff called out?????? Arent the staff cross trained for shortages like this??? We planned our day around the Restuarant being open. So we had to go out to find a place to eat. What a disappointment.

During our say, there was quite a bit of remodeling going on, especially in the entrance/front desk area, which was not much of a problem, but you lost close bathrooms when you arrive. The rooms are outdated, but the beds were comfortable enough to get a sleep on. The location of this hotel is amazing, and so much more could be accomplished with updates like a business area, sitting are with tvs, etc. To overcome the negatives, three awesome staff made it worthwhile, Sarah at the front desk, Debra in the dining room/bar and you can't leave chef out, his food, for the price point was amazing!

There are two receptionist a younger woman and older one. The older one was nice but the younger receptionist was rude, unpleasant, nasty demeanor, and unprofessional. Never greeted us when we walked in just rudely stated “checking in”! Then we tried to pay for a Sri k at the front desk where she saw us standing there and continued talking to her go worker in the back office like she didn’t see us. Also hotel lobby was full the whole weekend with loiters made it uncomfortable to walk through at times

10 Minute to Camelback Mountain. Comfortable bed with standard room size. No jacuzzi, just a pool. They could use a few more luggage carts and closet hangers. Otherwise, ok for a few days of skiing. You could walk to the mountain in 10-15 minutes. It’s as close as you can get to the mountain without staying on Camelback’s expensive property.

The hotel is nice but it needs updating. It is sort of stuck in the 80’s. The rooms were basic but clean. We tried the restaurant for dinner. The food was expensive and pretty bland. The wings were very good though. The buffet in the morning was $16 for a breakfast buffet. We went into town and went to a fantastic diner called Billy’s Poconos Diner. All in all it was a decent hotel .

The hotel is older, but it is nice. Quick and friendly check-in. Nice bar and little restaurant area overlooking the beautiful hills and pond right off the restaurant deck. The rooms were clean as far as the bedroom, but the shower was dirty. There was a nice breakfast buffet in the morning that had eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, muffins and pastries for $16..00. The indoor pool is dated and useable but nothing great. The fall foliage views here were amazing, and it was a good stay overall. I do recommend this for a mid-grade hotel!

I believe the staff did as good as they could . Rooms are dated. Amenities are provided very sparingly. Bring your own wood fire pit.😂😂. Food staff were very good. Food was good.

Location is fantastic, close to Camelback attractions, beautiful views from hotel rooms and restaurant. Breakfast ($16) worth every penny. Staff is nice and friendly. But the hotel is totally run down and needs renovation NOW: chipped and stained walls and ceilings, dirty door in the bathroom, broken furniture, full-size top sheet on king-size bed, unpleasant smell in the hallway. Not recommended.

Good stay, staff was friendly, restaurant was good and prices very reasonable, everything was clean. The only thing they need to do is fix the place up a little and it would be a 5 out of 5 for me. The view from the balcony was great. Still a great place to stay. Highly reccomend
