It was close to everything but at night it looks unsafe. During the day is walkable and close to the rambla. Rooms updated, Good mattress, and friendly reception. You have to carry your luggage through long stairs up to the reception (they helped my husband)because the elevator starts in the second floor. Breakfast area nice and clean with coffee 24 hours. The shower very narrow.

Hotellet ligger meget centralt i Barcelona, vi ankom lørdag sent om aftenen, hvor nærområdet godt kan virke lidt skummelt - desværre er der ikke parkeringsmuligheder ved hotellet - der ligger en parkeringskælder 100 m fra hotellet - men det koster 33 euro/døgn. Værelset er super, rengøringen er super - og der bliver gjort rent hver dag. Morgenmaden er over middel. På øverste etage er en lille udendørs pool - hvor der er mulighed for at tage en dukkert - men pollen er meget lille - alt i alt - godt hotel til prisen.

They have airconditioning in the building but not per room. The room was very hot and they did not have fans. Their solution was open the window but people were screaming outside in the alley all night. Would not recommend staying here if you like to sleep. Additionally, not a safe area a lot of people got robbed.

Terrible stairwell to get to reception. No lobby. Then there was an elevator could only fit one person. Even when I got up to my floor- I had to haul my suitcases up another set of stairs. The room was fine- small but clean

Property was booked as handicapped accessible. When we arrived, narrow entrance hall had building marerials stacked up blocking all but 2 feet of hallway width. The hall ended in about 20 steps to get to registration desk. The staff there called maintenance to operate the lift used to get those with mobility issues to the next floor where there is an elevator. The lift was not working and we could not access the hotel. The staff, Amin, was very understanding and assisted us in securing other accommodations (at twice the cost) and called for a cab to take us there. It was obvious that the hotel could not meet our needs and had misrepresented the property. Now, they are refusing to refund our money that was prepaid for 2 rooms for 3 nights.through Expedia.

The hotel and staff were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The facilities were ver clean and breakfast was plentiful. The rooftop pool was not something that could be classed as a pool, a large bath maybe.

NEGATIVE: -the property is located in a VERY DIRTY (garbage everywhere, smell of urine, etc) street; -there is no lobby. You walk up two flight of stairs to find a person behind a small desk; -the computer screens in my home office are larger than the tv in the room. I have NEVER stayed at a hotel with a 19inch tv; - there are not dressers; -no closet; -no full size mirror..the only mirror in the entire room is the small one in the bathroom ; -only 1 waste basket (in the bathroom); -no refrigerator; -no safe; -no coffee maker in the room; -the bed does not have comforters. We were very uncomfortable getting to the hotel at night. We didn’t feel safe. One night when we arrive after dinner, there were a group of men by the entrance door smoking and drinking. At night it is very noisy (outside). I didn’t understand why there were earplugs next to the tv controller until night time. POSITIVE: -Raul (serves breakfast) is a very tentative, and nice staff member; -the hallway is clean; -our small room was clean; -close to transportation; -close to La Ramba; I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Para empezar, NO tienen Lobby, o sea Q tienes q subir tus maletas al segundo nivel donde sin espacio te hacen check in. NO tienen aire Acondicionado. Fui al personal con toda amabilidad buscando opciones y Ni un ABANICO me pudieron proveer, 2 Noches pasando calor … HORRIBLE

Il giorno della partenza ci hanno dato la possibilità di lasciare le nostre valige, in modo tale da poterci godere in comodità il nostro ultimo giorno da turisti!!!! Very nice. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Newly remodeled or room was a bit small but very comfortable. They had an excellent breakfast and I was amazed at the freshly made apple juice. Totally worth the cost of breakfast. Would stay there again

The room is extremely small and there is not even space to put your luggage. No closets, no dressers, no refrigerator, and a 12 inch TV. It was very uncomfortable for two people and definitely not worth the price. The pictures are very misleading and are nothing close to what you will get. The neighborhood was a bit seedy at night, and upon arrival we found people smoking marijuana outside the door. The only positive I would give is that it’s located close to interesting spots within walking distance.

It was a lovely hotel tucked in a busy Barcelona street. We did not have a car so we had easy walking access to anywhere we wanted to go. We used the metro several times without issues. It was tricky for us to get to the airport because a race had shut down the streets. The desk clerk was knowledgeable and helpful to us I making a plan. We took the metro out of the race area then took a taxi. You can take the metro or a bus to the airport. The room was small but modern.

Great find, spotless and great staff, especially Raul at breakfast, which is also very good, with Nespresso coffee available 24/7. Room was okay although limited hanging space and no safe. Possibly one of the best showers I've ever had though. Floors can be slippery when wet. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to lots of stairs even just to get to reception. Would happily stay again though.

Las ubicación del hotel es muy buena aunque el sector en el que se encuentra da la impresión de ser inseguro. El ascensor inicia en el segundo nivel, por lo que hay que considerarlo si se lleva bastante equipaje. Lo más sobresaliente es la atención que brinda Raúl y los desayunos qué son super deliciosos. En realidad que Raúl sería un excelente manager, habías leído sobre él en las reseñas y todo lo bueno que se dice de él es verdad. Lo que le quita muchos puntos al hotel es que yo reservé por medio de Hoteles.com con la opción de pagar en el establecimiento, me cobraron más por elegir esa opción y de todas maneras el hotel me cobró el hotel un mes antes de mi llegada. Es algo que debe mejorarse pues no debe de ofrecerse esta opción, si en realidad no se da. La habitación de la azotea no es muy bonita, ni cómoda, pero las que están en el primer nivel son muy lindas.
Las ubicación del hotel es muy buena aunque el sector en el que se encuentra da la impresión de ser inseguro. Lo que le quita muchos puntos al hotel es que yo reservé por medio de Hoteles.com con la opción de pagar en el establecimiento, me cobraron más por elegir esa opción y de todas maneras el hotel me cobró el hotel un mes antes de mi llegada. Es algo que debe mejorarse pues no debe de ofrecerse esta opción, si en realidad no se da. La habitación de la azotea no es muy bonita, ni cómoda, pero las que están en el primer nivel son muy lindas.

We had a short, but pleasant, stay. The guy at the desk was very friendly. He helped us bring our bags up the stairs without us even asking. Then got us checked in fast. The room itself was clean. We got in around 4pm and left early in the morning for our flight, but we explored the area a bit. There are some nice restaurants and bookstores near by - we even found some books in English for our flight back.

Very nice. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Newly remodeled or room was a bit small but very comfortable. They had an excellent breakfast and I was amazed at the freshly made apple juice. Totally worth the cost of breakfast. Would stay there again

It was close to everything but at night it looks unsafe. During the day is walkable and close to the rambla. Rooms updated, Good mattress, and friendly reception. You have to carry your luggage through long stairs up to the reception (they helped my husband)because the elevator starts in the second floor. Breakfast area nice and clean with coffee 24 hours. The shower very narrow.

The area was a little sketchy, but we had no issues. Easy walks to where we wanted to go. The issue I found was that there are stairs to climb and no way to get luggage upstairs. Limited availability of snacks and drinks. No ice for rooms.

L’hôtel est bien situé, dans le quartier Raval qui est très central mais qui a mauvaise réputation. Nous étions mère et fille et nous n’avons eu aucun problème pendant notre séjour d’une semaine. Bien sûr en étant prudentes et en entrant avant 22h30. C’est un hôtel très propre, rénové et le personnel est très gentil. Ce n’est pas un 5 étoiles mais pour apprécier la ville à pied, c’est parfait. À 10 minutes de la Rambla, 5 min. du métro, des bus. Le seul bémol, c’est petit, nous avons aucun rangement, donc dans notre valise tout le temps.

Its a great hotel and cleaned nicely. The staff are very helpful and made us feel very safe. However outside the hotel the area is sketchy, especially at night. It’s only a 6/7 minute walk from La Ramblas, but you have to walk quickly to and from at night. Overall, we had a lot of fun and loved the hotel, but were just extra cautious when we were outside.

Just a few minutes walk there is a vibrant local market open late at night under one roof where one can buy anything & everything, eateries with fresh seafood/meat prepared on order. Juice bars, bakeries, pizza joints, banks and metro stations. All over Spain, REAL touchless transactions are conducted besides the touches credit card payments. At the payment counters, there are machines that accept notes and coins and giveback change without ever handling by the staff/cashier.

Great find, spotless and great staff, especially Raul at breakfast, which is also very good, with Nespresso coffee available 24/7. Room was okay although limited hanging space and no safe. Possibly one of the best showers I've ever had though. Floors can be slippery when wet. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues due to lots of stairs even just to get to reception. Would happily stay again though.

Tolles 2 Sterne Hotel, auf engstem Raum, alles hinbekommen. Das Personal ist zumindest beim Frühstück an Ihre Grenzen gekommen. Es gibt für den Gast hand gepressten Orangensaft und in der Pfanne gebratene Eier, auch auf engstem Raum!

This was an ok place to stay. The location was convenient to the city centre but wasn't in a great area. We got a taxi from the airport which cost about 27 euro but I dont think we could have found it by ourselves at night! Our room was on the very top floor on the terrace so we ended up carrying our luggage up two flights of stairs. There was a lift for the other flights. Our kids were on a sofabed. Our room was clean and was cleaned every day but the air con did not work so it was uncomfortably hot at night. When we mentioned this to reception they just said it worked. On reflection, we should have pushed them harder about this. We did not have breakfast in the hotel. There are lots of lovely cafes nearby. Overall I would say this hotel did the job but wasn't amazing.
