The overall experience was fine. The hotel is very stuffy. The halls and room were very warm. The beds were not made properly with bottom flat sheet sides tucked in (no fitted sheet). The bathroom curtain was filthy. Checkout was at 11 and housekeeping woke my up by knocking on the door at 8:30 to clean the room even with a privacy notice on the door knobs. She did it again at 10:30. Not someplace I would stay again.

The hotel needs some love. Paint, carpeting all need updating. The bathroom had “swampy” smell. The shower was more of a sprinkle very underwhelming. The rooms were clean but not sparkling. The antiqueish furniture was pretty beat up. Sheets were clean, towels were clean. The staff were lovely though we had very little interaction with them. For what we paid we should have been more impressed. The best thing was the location to downtown very walkable.

It is unbelievable to me that people rated this Property eight out of 10 or 10 out of 10 the rooms are so outdated. It was like a dorm room. The carpet must be 50 years old. The Hotel is a travesty $500 a night ridiculous the only thing worth while in the whole place was the front porch. The rooms are a mess anybody who rated this hotel above a two is a moron.
