The Inn at Saratoga

The location of this property is great, a short walk to the heart of Saratoga. The room was clean but needs updating. The staff was friendly and helpful. Please be advised the restaurant and bar are both closed on Sunday and Monday.

Lovely hotel - dinner was nice. It was 80 degrees and no AC — our room was very hot. Hotel may be haunted.

I didnt like that fact that there was no desgnated area for guest parking. We had to park on the street. Anybody could park anywhere in the lot.

We have stayed at this hotel for the last 6 years during the Saratoga race meet. Is is very convenient to the downtown and the race track, always clean, the staff is very friendly. There is on site free parking. For such a historic inn it is very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast is wonderful. I highly recommend!

Property was like walking into a time warp to the past. Parking was not good, not enough spaces. Walking to shops in town was good. Need to check the air-conditioner filters as ours was filty!

Very close to all the shopping. Very nice staff Very noisy if you are in the front because you are on a busy road at a light. Only a very small air conditioner in window.

The Inn is historic so if you like the very old look this is the place for you. The furniture was very old but nice. The room was dusty. The staff was very nice. The Inn was in a very nice location. Pretty close to the center of town.

The AC unit was dirty and not properly installed. There were obvious unvacuumed areas under the furniture. However the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It was still a nice place to stay for a historic inn that is centrally located to all of the downtown Saratoga activities.

If you arrive before evening there's plenty of self-parking. no need to use the car for dinner since the restaurant area on Broadway is a short walking distance. The room is cute (tall poster bed) and everything was very clean. Staff was SUPER friendly which goes a long way with me.

The price was very expensive for a very dingy and not renovated room. The bathroom in motel 6 is nicer. Our original room smelled of mold and mildew. The nice man at check-in moved us to a new room but it wasn't clean. We found a bottle cap on the floor. The bathroom smelled like pee and has not been renovated in years. So not worth the $750 we paid.

A very nice place to stay for the night. Near shopping and dining. ( Cantina was the spot we dined at for supper, delicious food )There was a small fridge and coffee machine in the room. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff.

The Inn is very quaint with high ceilings, beautiful wood and period furniture. It is one of the oldest Inns in Saratoga. Daily at the front desk was very accommodating and pleasant. The king size 4 poster bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in besides my own. The only negative was the handle on the toilet was missing a nut on the inside of the tank so you had to be careful when flushing. We were there off season, so many of the restaurants around were closed. We would definitely stay there again.

The Inn at Saratoga is in a great location for shopping and eating. You can easily walk up to Broadway for both. There is a large beautiful park that we enjoyed strolling through. We were in town for three shows at SPAC. It was an easy 2 mile uber to the venue. The only drawback (this is about Saratoga not the Inn) there were no late night dining options so pre plan for that if you enjoy late nights. The Inn is showing age but nothing awful. The hotel is clean but the carpet could be replaced and some fresh paint. But the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Parking was really easy. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The fudge at departure was a nice touch and very good.

The windows did not have curtains that completely covered the large windows so sleeping in after sunrise is not an option !

the staff and restaurant were excellent Our room 112 was a disaster. There were wires from a lamp and air conditioner right across the middle of the wall. There was no closet, only a rod to hang our clothing. The wall paper was peeling off the wall in one area. We couldn't use the exhaust fan or heater in the bathroom because the turn knobs were missing. They did fix our bed light and thank goodness the beds were comfortable. Took pictures to show my family. Stay away from Room 112!.

It's a classic older property convenient to downtown.

The room was fantastic and just as described. We were in Room 231 facing onto a road, but it was very quiet. We were surprised how large the room was. The 4-poster kingsize bed was amazing, although it's pretty high - you might have to jump in! The only complaint we have is the draperies. They don't cover the window properly and barely block the light at all. This room really needs blackout curtains. It was kind of hard to ignore the light.

Charming old-world ambience. My room had a king-sized poster bed which some people would need a step ladder to get on (I'm not tall, but am agile!), but very comfortable. Some rooms need more logical placement of outlets for lights and electronics; other rooms are up to date. The ambience is friendly and the staff are excellent. Plus, it's so convenient to downtown and for leaving city center.

The bed was so comfortable and shower had great water pressure. Great location, would definitely stay again!

Excellent staff great little bar area with great music

My wife and I have been coming to the Inn for about 5 years. This was our first time back in over a year and we were a touch disappointed. We realize that these are hard economic times and appreciate the hotel industry needing to adjust issues to provide a cost-effective way to give their clients the very best. However, a couple things stood out on this trip. One thing was the shower and its lack of water pressure. Also, we made a reservation for Saturday evening asking for a table by the window in the bar. The receptionist confirmed that the reservation was completed. When we got to the bar our names were not there. Another issue was the room itself. We were placed in room 226 which was very pleasant except for when the compressor came on. On our first night there was no noise. On the second night of our stay the compressor had an unbearable vibrating noise. I went downstairs to ask what could be done. I have to thank Jacob for finding another room at 3 in the morning. He was very apologetic and concerned for us. I can't understand why these compressors can't be shut off at night! When we moved to 332, we were quite happy and got a few hours' sleep before we were to get up. Shower pressure was good and the only thing we could say is the hairdryer for my wife was not working. I don't want to sound too critical, but we look to have a good stay and not have to deal with these problems. We will come back but we will be more creful when we accept a room.

I had a wonderful stay and the service was great. Jennifer at the desk was extremely helpful with a couple of odd requests. I hope she gets a raise. It's a Vicorian place. Great old poster beds and vintage stuff. I loved it. Great place for those who love vintage.

The staff members were all very warm and welcoming, very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the inn has a very nice ambiance, old mansion feel. We did the $10 breakfast buffet both mornings of our stay and the food was delicious with different choices each day. It was all well prepared and the baked goods were fantastic. The location is very easy to get to and well within walking distance of shops and restaurants. I definitely recommend this facility.

We arrived to check in on Sat July 22 at about 6:20 I think it was and there was a sign at the desk that the clerk was helping another guest and would be back shortly. We waited. And waited. After 10 minutes the young man at the host stand of the restaurant did a walking loop to find the clerk but couldn’t. At this point another couple of guests arrived also hoping to check in. Finally the clerk showed up. No eye contact and a curt “sorry for the wait”. The most insincere apology. Having worked for Marriott for 7 years I know how hospitality goes and a smile and sincerity can go a long way with guests. This clerk was rude and unfriendly and started our stay on a really bad note. The room was larger than I expected and we liked the charm of it. There were stains on the curtains and parts of the decor seemed dated but overall it was fine. The AC did its job, the mini fridge was nice to have too. A nice location within walking distance to restaurants. Honestly would’ve enjoyed it more if it hadn’t started the way it did. We travel to Saratoga each summer and will not stay here again. For the costs of staying during the race meet I expect to be greeted and treated a bit more professionally.

Rudest check in I’ve ever had. Girl was staring at computer, blowing bubbles with bubble gum then turned to me and just said ‘Name?’ Demanded I’d and credit card. Gave us room key and a welcome sheet. Really soured my opinion of the hotel.

I ordered a black bean burger to go from the bar and not only was it burnt beyond eating it also came on a moody bun!

This is an adorable hotel. The room was large. The beds were comfortable. The restaurant was good the staff was very attentive. We would definitely stay here again if we decide to vacation out this way again

Love the Inn. It has old world charm, but modern amenities. The Tavern is great and the bartender, Patrick, couldn't be more attentive. The restaurant food was great.

Awesome historic hotel. Amazing antique furnishings including beds. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good and the homemade muffins and cake were very delicious. Stayed on a Monday night and the restaurant was closed on Mondays. What a shame we missed that. I know from just looking at the menu it would have been great.
