This MOTEL (not hotel) has been updated (somewhat) on the inside of the rooms. However, it's still mostly an outside-access motel. There are new flooring and paint in the rooms, but everything else (lighting, fixtures, etc.) seems like the original equipment and none of the finishing touches are done. It seems like someone wanted to refinish it, but took the cheap route and left it half done. The pictures on Expedia definitely make it look nicer than it is.

Parking lot is destroyed and needs replaced, ac units don’t work in half the rooms(we had to request to be moved and others in our party did as well). Poor craftsmanship on sink back boards, cabinet facades fell/falling off, shower heads have no pressure and are old/broken, rooms were dirty covered in food/blood/brown debris and had to ask to have sheets replaced upon moving into new room with air conditioning. Carpets rippled and pulled up through facility, flooding when it rained, ceiling falling/water damage in rooms 156, 158, 169, and 173. There were so many things wrong with this hotel that it should most likely be condemned.

They didn’t have Internet TV service. The bar was closed and the kitchen was closed. We had to move to a different hotel just to watch TV in our room experience would not recommend this to anyone.

Our main go to must haves are always an indoor hot tub and a warm breakfast. After making a reservation, we were angry to get to the check in desk only to find out the pool was under repair. We had even verified with Ramda's main reservations center that the North Platte site had a working hot tub. Can you tell this happens to us frequently? I long for the days you could EASILY call the hotel direct to make your reservation!!!

The security door was shotty. When we walked into our room there was dust everywhere. The tub was filthy. The air vent in bathroom had thick dust. The floor was laminate which we thought would be good for our pets, but my daughters socks were turning black within a few minutes. The floor was also sticky. The couch had stains on it. The breakfast area had broken cabinets. For $150 a night it felt like a gross over payment. I get inflation but when did what felt like a motel 8 become that expensive.

We were extremely disappointed with this property. Within a few minutes of entering the room we noticed a lot of dead bugs around the bathroom sink area and many gnats swarming the room. The room did not appear to have been cleaned (there was something sticky on the wall, dust coating almost every surface, and the phone didn't work). The only way to enter the room was to go through a poorly lit hallway and a dark courtyard, which did not feel safe. We went back to the front desk to request a refund, which they refused because we had "used" the room (we sent our kids in to shower while we unloaded). They offered us another room and when my husband went in with the front desk attendant he found a bug in the bed. We again requested a refund and were told that it couldn't be approved until the manager was in on a weekday. We checked out and went to a different hotel. After speaking with the manager, we were only offered $25 back on our stay (20% of what we paid). We would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Signs posted in various places said hotel was being renovated. This place is a mess and really needs it. Renovation is one thing, dirt is another. There was a big blob of black hair stick on the bottom of the bathroom door. The grout by the bathroom sink was moldy. The tub had no safety anti-slip strips in it (and my friend slipped). The counter looks like there is dirt in the crevices of what looks like drawers (but I don’t think actually are), the curtain by the front door is coming off the track, there is paint peeled off the bathroom door jam, the refrigerator is bad need of defrosting and rocks when you open the door - I probably could go on, but these are the things I noticed. The owners should be embarrassed to have people in this place.

I have stayed at this hotel before, maybe two years ago and boy had it changed since then. Now they lost the concept of cleanliness. The shower walls have not been scrubbed probably in months, neither the door knobs or the tv remote. In my opinion they clean so superficially the rooms that the dust and gunk starts accumulating until becomes “normal” for the staff and management. So a deep and detailed cleaning is URGENT!!

The hotel pictures on line are very deceiving. The room was very dirty, the floor was horrible to where we had to wear our shoes. I sanitized the counters and the toilet. She shower and toilet had not been cleaned in i dont know how long. There was hair in the bath tub. I will not ever stay here again.

We loved our stay! We had a nice suit with 2 queen beds and a very cool modular sofa for the kids. We paid the same amount for a much smaller and not as nice room from another hotel the week before. We had a way better room for the same price at Ramada! It had on site dining & entertainment. Great breakfast included, friendly and helpful staff. Loved it. Will come again!

Room 156. Property old, a/c would bang every so often and at night woke you up. The freezer in fridge had an inch of ice built up inside, the desk chair going up and down fine but when go to sit in in a lean back nothing stops back of chair and you almost tip over chair backwards and no way to fix or correct. Standing light in corner when go to turn on/off the gold metal socket holding bulb comes out. Door to bathroom when open/close is about 1/2” from door so have to shimmy to close door. Dust bunnies in corners. Took me 3 times to call front desk as telephone “0” kept hanging up. Whole lobby and walking to room smells of pool(chlorine). Property is old and needs a revamp badly. Breakfast was very good and lots of seating room and not cramped. There is a bar and grill but decided not to try it as nothing sounded good so walked next door to Perkins.

This hotel is great for a one night stay. It is real close to places to see in North Platte. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay more than one night. It isn’t the most comfortable since rooms are small. Some of the surrounding hotels will be better suited if you are planning more than one night.

GREATLY disappointed in your hotel property and service or lack of. Our daughter arrived in town on Friday July 26th as she was in a wedding and needed to get ready for a rehearsal dinner at 6:30. Check in time was at 4:00 pm but she was not allowed to check in until 7:30 pm so she had to find somewhere else to get ready. My husband and I arrived on July 27th and could not check into the hotel until after the wedding as the wedding was at 4 pm (check in time). When we arrived at 11:30 pm after the reception we were told they had to move guests into new rooms due to a hotel ‘issue’ and they did NOT have a room for us. No notification was given to us previous to us arriving at the hotel. We live @3 hours away……. We ended up driving all the way home….. needless to say we are NOT happy…. Asked how to get a refund and were told we’d have to call in the morning ??? Then worker at the desk picked up a phone call so I left. On a previous trip during Nebraskaland days my daughter also stayed there - no shower curtain in the bathroom and the lock on the door did not work. We travel to North Platte frequently… we will not recommend this hotel to anyone - for the price or amenities…. Not sure how to request a refund on this stay as hotel did not provide any information regarding this when asked. Sent from my iPhone

Reserved a room about 7pm the day of the stay. Arrived at 12:30am after 6 hours driving in the rain only to be told they don’t have any rooms, and that they were “overbooked”. The fact that I had a reservation mean NOTHING to them. They said they tried multiple times to call us, but my phone showed 0 missed calls from them.

The room was not ready, the tv didn't work, three people tried to get it to work and after 20 or more minutes I went to the desk to ask for a different room. After ten or more minutes of not being able to find a room that was ready to move to, one of the guys said he got the tv to work. I declined to move back to that room expecting the tv to have the same problem, and asked for a new room. After another five or so minutes of not being able to find another, I told the manager to forget it and that I would get a room across the street, which I did. That hotel was not ready for occupancy and should not have booked guests. Please don't try to charge my credit card as I will not pay for a room that was not ready.

Air conditioning didn’t work even asked them to fix never did. Shower was plugged so you took a shower in yucky water. Asked for extra towels through the text message since we stayed 3 nights and tell of us they only left us three. No one ever came so called front desk they informed me housekeeping left and I’d have to come to front desk and get them. Curtains were falling down in room. Outside of hotel looked like they were renovating but upon further investigation I guess they never finished

There is a sports bar/restaurant on site with pool tables, slot machines, & the food was good. the room is large & beds comfortable. Breakfast was good & they weren't rushing to put it away the moment the clock struck 9. Staff was friendly & helpful. Nice pool but the hot tub isnt working unfortunately however, we were informed before we got there & given the opportunity to cancel our reservation which was really nice. The room seemed to have an issue with the heater malfunctioning but kept us warm enough & the bathroom floor had some water coming up from underneath the floor tiles. Minor inconveniences really. I really enjoyed my stay & would recommend it to other travelers.

There were a few issues about this stay at the Ramada; I had to get out of bed and go to the desk to get batteries for the AC remote. There was no phone in the room to call the front desk. In the morning we got up ready to take a shower before hitting the road and - unbelievably- there was no shower head on the shower so it ran like a hose coming out of the wall. I went to the front desk to tell them about it ( I honestly was astounded at this). The guy at the front desk was very great. He agreed that was ridiculous and thought I should get reimbursed for the room and he tried to reach the manager, but manager was in a meeting. I left my contact info and I’m still waiting for a call back…. Not letting this one go. Tooo ridiculous.
