The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and breakfast was super yummy. Our room was a king suit and was ok. The room was clean but the bed was super hard. Ceiling fan and light in the bathroom didn’t work. Shower curtain liner doesn’t completely cover and we always ended up with water on the floor. One reason we pick this hotel was because of the location and pool. We were in the pool every day and didn’t see it clean once (not vacuumed at all, fingers crossed they were checking the pH levels) had to skim it myself several times and ended up with a double ear infection by the time we left.

Overall great stay. The breakfast buffet selection was amazing!! The only thing we were disappointed in is I called ahead to ask about the pool being open and they told me yes so we brought all of our gear and when we got there they said it would open till Memorial Day weekend.

I choose this hotel specifically because it said on their website that they had streaming services on their tvs (Netflix, Hulu etc) and when traveling with teenagers this is a bonus. I picked it over other hotels in the area specifically for this and even paid more for this hotel over others only because it said this hotel had this and others didn’t. It may seem like a minor things but after 14 hours in the car I knew the teens would want to unwind and watch some shows with nothing else to really do. When I called the front desk to ask about it I was informed they did not have this feature. When asked why it said they did on their website she seemed to not know why. Or not know anything really about the property or what they were or weren’t supposed to have.

We’ve come here for years on the way to the beach. It could use some upgrades- especially the pool area. The seating in the pool area was broken down and dirty. It needs some significant attention.

This hotel was in a great location based on our need. Other than the room staying humid/moist, it was a grway room and hotel. Breakfast was great. Coffee, meats and eggs, pastries, etc...lots of great options. The comfort of the beds is nice, with the extra pillows also. Pool was clean and inviting. Another outdoor sitting area was very relaxing. The staff was all super friendly and helpful for any questions or concerns.

Audio for the streaming service kept going out, and Fox News Channel was not even a channel option. Also, the light in the entryway would flick off and on several times before finally staying on, and the bathroom exhaust fan was not functional. You should be glad I didn't rate it lower.

For us parking was important but so is being able to do laundry. The hotel amenities listed laundry and they do not have a guest laundry room. Also, the rooms do not have microwaves. Microwaves were not listed but it would have been nice. The breakfast is fantastic. All the staff was friendly and helpful. While the room could use some TLC it was clean a comfortable.

Our room was really nice and clean, however we found the ice bucket cover under the bed with a piece of Dorito in it. And my best friend room just 2 doors down the have 2 bottles of coke in their trash can. Nothing really bad but housekeeping needs to be more aware of the rooms.

This property is not priced appropriately. Definitely in need of updates. The furniture and carpet were dirty and sheets were covered in dog hair and did not appear to have been washed.

The common areas were fine, nice lobby and breakfast area. The room and bathroom were clean, but worn. There was a red stain on the carpet between the beds (looked to be wine or juice), the shower surround and baseboard were worn, with a pretty bad caulking job and some moldiness along the baseboard by the tub. The bath mat had some stains on it. The beds were great, though. Overall, it was okay, just not what I would expect at this price point. If I had paid $40, or really even $25, less per night, the review would be excellent.

The room need remodeling. Mold in bathroom, exposed caulking around tub spout, just old and worn out. Not able to regulate temperature or fan as indicated by wall control, front desk said flow of air in room was universal throughout hotel.

Overall we had a great experience. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable king bed, clean crib, and we loved having 2 TVs in the room. Only complaint was the pull out bed had no cushioning, it felt like you were laying directly on the springs & it was uncomfortable for my 5 year old.

Staff was efficient & courteous (appreciated for a 'late arrival, early departure' stay). There were no issues with checking in & my bed/room/shower was comfortable for my stay. There were a few minor things (worn bottom of bathroom door, thin wall to hallway) that were noticed, but didn't detract from my restful, comfortable stay. Proximity from highway as also a bid determinant in my selection for hotel.

Karen Moore at the front desk is amazing. We arrived late night after a long day of traveling and moving my son into his dorm. She is the perfect extortion what exceptional customer service looks like. She offered water, cookies and asked us if we needed anything else to have a great stay. Upon check I was advised that my room was closed for maintenance. I was traveling with 3 small children, my wife and my Daughter. They advised they could give me 2 queens rooms, but could not guarantee that they would be side by side or in the same floor. The reservation was made over a week ago. Someone. Old have called and told me.

We came to High Point for a wedding and spent a very enjoyable time at this hotel. The receptionists at the desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I mean, I don’t usually write review for hotels unless there is something horrible… but this stay was notable. Three particular employees stood out at reception: Hina (sp?), Stacey, & Jennifer. We were greeted with treats for our dogs, and welcoming snacks, water, etc. for us. On the shift change at the desk, Stacy came to our door to deliver a message in person, asked if the dogs were happy and what could she do for us. Likewise, as we left to attend the wedding, Stacey was full of sincere compliments and offered to take our picture in our wedding duds. When we returned to the hotel (now Jan. 1 Happy New Year), the evening shift person, Jennifer, struck up a sweet conversation and asked if she could help with any other amenities. So, at the very least, THIS was review I was compelled to submit. Nice room, convenient parking, dog friendly, and certainly extra considerate and very helpful receptionists at the desk. Maybe it was just the New Years vibe, just the same, exceptionally nice overnight stay with two dogs in tow.

Had to come into town for a funeral and this hotel location by the interstate worked well. Was quiet for being by the interstate. Plenty of food, gas and stores around the area. You have to turn into the Hampton Inn and go through their parking lot to enter the Holiday Inn parking lot.

The location address was High Point, but physically it was 14 miles away in Archdale. Very confusing. The breakfast was very good, and the lady working the kitchen was very nice, so we gave her a nice tip.
