Stayed here for two nights for my husband’s 60th birthday. He wanted to see Shiloh & the Corinth battlefields. Conveniently located to do both & a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed walking around & seeing all the historic homes in the area. Several really good restaurants in Corinth & all within a short drive. The bar is nice for drinks in the evening & a coffee station has water, sodas, tea & coffee for guests as well. A woman made my mule margarita & it was so good. She was so sweet & I wish I had gotten her name. Our room was really nice and bed was very comfortable with quality bedding!! If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again! Oh, parking is on both sides of the street (2 lots). General’s Quarters has the main house & the other beautiful home across the street that has 3 guest rooms and their soon-to-be spa & gift shop.

While we were there for business, the staff at the Quarters went above and beyond to make the venue like a mini vacation. The decor was tasteful, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure great, food good and there was a nice wine selection. We are very grateful for the warmth of all staff members, and want to thank Amy in particular for ensuring that our stay was flawless. The Quarters is immaculate and has all the amenities this somewhat picky reviewer could want--a well done cross between history and modern comfort. The Quarters is putting Corinth on the map for a destination stay. Thank you, and we will be back.

Great place. Very comfortable B&B in old restored pre-civil war home. Cozy, intimate bar with great service and drinks. Only regret is we didn’t have more days to enjoy it. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.

saturday night we wanted to get a steak for my husbands birthday. This was a birthday weekend. Everything was booked. The chef at the bar in the quarters went out bought us two steaks -cooked them to perfection and we had a special dinner right there in the General QUARTERS BAR. IT WAS LOVELY This is a unique and wonderful place. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay and great area to explore. Room was lovely only addition would be a second mirror for use outside the bathroom. Clawfoot tub was an adventure but true for the style of the rooms. We highly recommend. Staff was wonderful and the bar area and dinner were top rate. We'd love to return.

Loved the room but the window above the door let in all the light which made it difficult sleeping……at 1 am I went out into the hall and turned off all the lights I could but still had light coming in. At 7 am whoever came in had the music too high which woke us and the woman downstairs up. When we went down for Breakfast at 7:30 am today we were told that the cook would not be in until 9 am.

The location is the properties best feature. There was NO manager on sight. We asked for a downstairs room, I recently had knee surgery, but we were given an upstairs. I explained I made the reservation thru expedia, but called the hotel to confirm a downstairs room and spoke to a young lady that assured me would would have a downstairs room with NO stairs. In the mornings there was NO coffee offered, we made it ourselves. The sofa bed was like sleeping on 2 doors. The heat never got to the bathroom and it was about 50 degrees in there. Our bathroom had a clawfoot tub that was impossible for me to use. All and all it was a mother daughter weekend that could have been made better if the staff had listened. Making guest happy did not seem a priority. Live and learn! Inexperienced is the word for The General's Quarters.

Friendly folks, if you are afraid of the dark this is the place to sleep with all the light streaming into the room from the hall lights and the outside floodlights. Beds were OK but couches in the room were terribly uncomfortable, end tables and lamps could be improved to be more usable.

The property and rooms were beautiful. Check-in was easy. Located in an historic area and walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. I had thought breakfast was included, but in the room is a small menu of bagels and pasties for a charge. That was no problem, but there was none there to purchase it from. Small cut bar, but again no staff.

There was no one there to check us in. I finally got a text password for the door so we were able to get in where our keys were waiting for us. When I made the reservation on line it said it included breakfast, but there is no breakfast on Monday morning. Not even coffee. We never saw any hotel worker or owner.

Our three day stay at The Generals' Quarters was the low point of our ten day vacation. Their check in process was non-existent. The emergency number provided via email was of no use. We only obtained access to the property because another guest assisted us with the process. The same thing happened to two other guests, whom we assisted with entry, who encountered the same non-existent check in process as we had.encoutered on two successive nights.

Wonderful stay and great area to explore. Room was lovely only addition would be a second mirror for use outside the bathroom. Clawfoot tub was an adventure but true for the style of the rooms. We highly recommend. Staff was wonderful and the bar area and dinner were top rate. We'd love to return.

Our stay was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean. Amy the manager was wonderful throughout the whole stay and took great care of us. Will definitely be staying here again!

Stayed here for two nights for my husband’s 60th birthday. He wanted to see Shiloh & the Corinth battlefields. Conveniently located to do both & a beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed walking around & seeing all the historic homes in the area. Several really good restaurants in Corinth & all within a short drive. The bar is nice for drinks in the evening & a coffee station has water, sodas, tea & coffee for guests as well. A woman made my mule margarita & it was so good. She was so sweet & I wish I had gotten her name. Our room was really nice and bed was very comfortable with quality bedding!! If we are ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again! Oh, parking is on both sides of the street (2 lots). General’s Quarters has the main house & the other beautiful home across the street that has 3 guest rooms and their soon-to-be spa & gift shop.

Loved the room but the window above the door let in all the light which made it difficult sleeping……at 1 am I went out into the hall and turned off all the lights I could but still had light coming in. At 7 am whoever came in had the music too high which woke us and the woman downstairs up. When we went down for Breakfast at 7:30 am today we were told that the cook would not be in until 9 am.

My husband and I traveled to Corinth for a business trip and were delighted to find that the General's Quarters had been thoroughly renovated and greatly improved. While we were there for business, the staff at the Quarters went above and beyond to make the venue like a mini vacation. The decor was tasteful, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure great, food good and there was a nice wine selection. We are very grateful for the warmth of all staff members, and want to thank Amy in particular for ensuring that our stay was flawless. The Quarters is immaculate and has all the amenities this somewhat picky reviewer could want--a well done cross between history and modern comfort. The Quarters is putting Corinth on the map for a destination stay. Thank you, and we will be back.

There was no one there to check us in. I finally got a text password for the door so we were able to get in where our keys were waiting for us. When I made the reservation on line it said it included breakfast, but there is no breakfast on Monday morning. Not even coffee. We never saw any hotel worker or owner.

saturday night we wanted to get a steak for my husbands birthday. This was a birthday weekend. Everything was booked. The chef at the bar in the quarters went out bought us two steaks -cooked them to perfection and we had a special dinner right there in the General QUARTERS BAR. IT WAS LOVELY This is a unique and wonderful place. Highly recommend it.
