Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham Sikeston

Having a small lake in front gave it a more expensive feel. The entrance is grand and clean. Everything worked and everything was clean. The room, a suite was large and clean. The brick entry was clean and it had easy access with two sets of steps and a ramp. I will return.

Property is old and in need of updated finishes and furniture. Also, property managers and/or staff need to patrol the property for safety issues. The side door was continually propped open with a brick so that non-residents could come and go. There were drug deals going down in the parking lot.

The property was trashed with beer cans, the washer was not rinsing the clothes and dryer not drying. The couch in our room looked like ring of pee on it and smelled the other room up of pee so we only used the room with bed in it for the few nights we stayed. The vent in bathroom was letting the pot smell roll in from another room and the noise of people slamming doors in hall. I used to love this place to stay , but now I believe it needs some attention. The breakfast wasn’t plentiful if you didn’t get in at 6am for it. We had to ask for clean towels or services instead of being asked.

The outside of the property and entrance were grand and inviting. The breakfast was typical good hotel breakfast. The staff (Reception and Breakfast) were kind and helpful. The suite that we stay did not look like it had been properly maintained and clean. The Bathroom Vanities were crumbling from moisture and there were a few weathered item in the room. The beds were fine but the floor looked like it needed a vacuum. It looks like it need a bit of TLC.

Main lobby was cold. Employees had their winter coats on. Room was not clean and in need of maintenance and repairs. The south wing of the buildings entrance doors we proped opened. This was in the middle of the night with night time temperatures of 0 degrees. Not safe to stay here.

the motel was beautiful The staircases in the lobby make you think you are in a palace.. the rooms are like suites. the grounds are lovely

Beautiful pond right in front.

This is a beautiful older hotel with a grand staircase. It has an outside courtyard, which needs work, but could really be pretty with some renovations. The hotel has pretty grounds with a pond as you enter the drive. Our room had a great air conditioner! Our room could have used a little extra cleaning. The mirror by the TV was dirty, a Kleenex was left in floor by toilet. Overall not bad. Could use new sheets that actually stay on the bed. Breakfast....not so good. More cereal and oatmeal type foods. Donuts or breakfast pastries would have been nice. With just a little extra work, this could be a good place to stay. The ladies the desk were friendly and very efficient. Just needs some TLC from maintenance and housekeeping!

This hotel seems to be filled with construction workers…noted by the dozen pickup trucks around the guest entrance. There was cigarette butts all over the ground outside the door as well as a discarded alcohol bottle. The hallway reeked of pot every time we left our room. The garbage can near the door was overflowing when we arrived, and more than overflowing when we left the next day. I chose this hotel because it stated it was a non-smoking property. Well, when there’s cigarette butts all over the ground and the place smells like a Bob Marley convention, it’s anything BUT non-smoking!!!! We stayed in room 117. There was a 2” hole in the middle of the floor near the foot of the bed that was a trip hazard. I can’t believe this could go unnoticed! Geez, fix that, fill it with caulk or something! The toilet rocks when you sit on it. In all fairness, I understand employees don’t sit on the toilet in rooms, so I’ll give a pass on that, but you’ve been notified now, so please fix it. The sofa was dirty-like someone walked on it with their dirty boots. The beds were clean and comfortable so that’s a plus. The breakfast was all carbs-not an even a hint of protein. I couldn’t find the eating utensils so my 73 yr old cane-toting husband walked out to the desk and asked. The lady seemed perturbed and a tad rude when pointing them out to us. With several other options of places to stay in the area, I will definitely make a different choice on my next trip.

This hotel is a great deal! It is clean, spacious and comfortable. They have a pool but it is not open. I also dont believe they have on-site laundry. The breakfast is not very good either and there are no coffee makers in the room. My biggest complaint is that their phones were not working even though they told me they were. I made a reservation for three nights but only need the first two nights. I had 24 hours to cancel but it had to be done thru hotels.com. They could not get thru to the hotel because their phone lines were down so I ended up having to pay for that third night.

There was mold on the bench in the room. The beds had stains, crumbs, and hair on them. We went and bought new blankets to lay on and cover up with and pillows to use. There was hair all in the bathroom floor. We wore shoes to shower. We saw a huge spider on nightstand. We wouldn’t have stayed after seeing the condition of the room but we had already paid and we figured there were no more available rooms in town due to event.

I tend not to expect much from these sorts of hotels, but our experience here fell short of even my tempered expectations. We were greeted with dried poop on the toilet seat and mold/mildew/hair/soap grime/rust in the shower. The room had an odd and unpleasant stench. The room was generally not very clean, especially in the above places where it matters. On the upside, the parking lot was well-lit and the bed was fairly comfortable (pillows sucked though). The front-desk attendant was moderately friendly and tried to be helpful despite his language barrier.

Bathroom floor and bathtub not clean, bathmat needs changed. Cabinet door broken off in bathroom, TV in bedroom does not work. Room 128

The only plus to this stay was the staff member that checked us in and the fact that there was a bed. The whole hotel just smelled old (and of marajuana), Staff smoking in the doorways all the time, and we noticed roaches in the bathroom the day before we checked out of our 5 night stay. Room was ‘clean’ enough, but not what I’d typically expect. It did the job, but we won’t stay again.

Did not even stay here because it was so nasty. Had hair all over the bed and towels. Had pet urine on sheets and smelled like weed, cigarettes, and wet dog. Very nasty and unclean

Front entrance said no smoking or vaping everywhere, but it was obvious someone was consistently smoking near front desk. Room smelled of mildew and was not particularly clean.

The room was filthy had dog hair in the bed, on the furniture, i would not have ever stepped into the bath tub it was gross wit rust and some kind of black stuff around the bottom tub mat and yes i said the bottom tub mat because it had one tub mat on top of another tub mat. Very very very dissatisfied oh and my feet turned black from the filth that was on the floor.

Omg….this was by far my worst experience. I got there and had to move rooms immediately. Hair on the sheets, tub nasty and it looked like mouse droppings on the toilet and on bathroom floor. The smell wasn’t fresh at all. The clerk lacked empathy and it took her a very long time to come to the front desk when clearly I had just called. The staircase in the lobby is beautiful but in very much need of vacuuming. The next room very outdated and could’ve stood extra cleaning. I will never stay in this place again. If it wasn’t late and I didn’t have a 8am meeting, I would’ve just left. Very disappointed.

There was a mouse in my room! I could hear it chewing on my luggage when i tried to sleel, turned the lights on, amd saw it running around the floor at 2 am! Filthy room! Some weird goo on the bed spread, no hand soap in the bathroom, no trash can in the room, amd it was just filthy in the knooks and crannies.. horrible experiemce.. i couldnt sleep at all after the mouse

Checkin was easy and quick. Nice lady up front made it simple. Room was clean and stocked. My only complaint is the water pressure. After driving almost 8 hours, I wanted a hot shower to end the day and there was virtually no pressure. The shower also had draining issues. Other than that it was a nice hotel and I would choose this location again.

Excellent except tv reception had many interruptions.

This was an overnight stop for us. Our room had been updated recently and was very nice-a lot of space, 2 queen, pull out couch, 2 TVs. Everything looked great. The floors, however, were odd. Not the flooring itself, but underneath. It wasn't flat and was odd to walk on. Breakfast was the basics. Staff wasn't rude, but I also wouldn't say they were overly welcoming.

The rooms are very spacious you practically get well you literally get a mini apartment they all come with a bedroom a living room and a bathroom some come with a bedroom living room bathroom in the kitchen then there are also some with three rooms bedrooms which would be one king bedroom and two bedrooms with two twins in each have private bathrooms . They are very clean and up-to-date all rooms have TVs love this place we'll stay here every time people are friendly and happy to help in any way they can. The stuff Kerri Andrea Diana Kayla are kind and welcoming the laundry staff is Donna is always smiling and pleasant to be around the managers Mr Patrick and his wife Miss Tina and children are kind and and always greet you with a smile. I get the feeling that genuinely care about each one of their customers and that they have a wonderful stay overall get this place a 10 out of 10 it's got a grand entrance that's absolutely beautiful with a double stairway leading upstairs there's also an elevator for those who need it right there at the front desk. at the front entrance you can just walk in the front door with no key card but all other entrances to the building or key card entry only for the safety of the customers there's parking all the way around there's the gazebo outback for smokers cuz this is a non-smoking facility there's continental breakfast great coffee and mini library upstairs a laundromat for the customers there is Sodas sold behind the desk at the front desk

Rooms weren’t very clean and our HVAC didn’t work. At 1 AM we asked to be moved; we were first offered an even hotter room and were told no other rooms were available. After more back-and-forth, they finally moved us to a room with working AC. I appreciate that it was ultimately fixed, but it shouldn’t have been this difficult—and the noise from neighboring rooms didn’t help.

The staff were all great and happy to accommodate us when we asked to switch rooms due to an AC issue in our original room. The beds were comfortable and clean. No bugs in sight, which is a big thing for me when staying in hotels. Everything was very outdated, the rooms could definitely benefit from some upgrades. Nothing was dirty, but due to the age of sinks, toilets, tubs, etc, everything just had a dinghy look to it. The internet/wifi connection was very poor. I would expect to pay a bit less than what I actually did for the room we got. The area outside the hotel seemed a bit sketchy, but it was quiet. Overall, it was a fine experience, but I don’t think I would stay here again unless there were some significant upgrades to the rooms.

The place could use an update. Upon check-in went to room and there was no shower head. I called down and they said they will get on and be up. She came after not finding and said it was a long term rental and thought they might have put it in a drawer. She did find it and it worked ok. After she left, tried the second TV and was not able to get any channels to work. There was a lot of wear and tear in the bathroom as well.

The staff was very professional, kind and accommodating.

This was a really great stay, which was part of my long roadtrip. The hotel was right off the interstate & wasn't too noisy. My room was pretty big which I really enjoyed! The bed was super comfy. The front desk woman was super friendly and welcoming. I was able to get Door Dash to deliver to the location so that was a plus! They had quite a lot of items for breakfast, so I was surprised about that for a Days Inn. Only thing I didn't like was lack of parking, but overall, I would definitely stay here again if I come back to the area.

The lady that checked us in was wonderful , the lady that was there the next morning , horrible personality and she was asleep on the floor snoring , who does that in a business. I will never stay there again .

Very accommodating staff

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The lady who checked me in told me my room number at the desk (big no no) and didn’t write it down. She gave me incorrect directions to the room as well. After having to walk all the way back to the desk because the room wasn’t where she said it was, the second lady wrote down the room number and gave correct directions how to get to it. Once in it though, we quickly realised that the AC wasn’t working. My husband went to the desk to have them switch our room and the lady acted like we froze up the AC by turning it down too quickly. We hadn’t touched the AC and had barely been in the room for 10 minutes so if it was frozen, there’s no way it could’ve been us. We got a new room and it was cold. The beds were okay. Overall not a terrible place to stay. Having two bedrooms within the one hotel room was wonderful if you’re travelling with kids.

Check in was so easy and they worked with my request to have a room overlooking my car. They were great

We had to wait several minutes for someone to check us in. No one in sight. A bell or some way to summon desk clerk would be helpful. While some areas of the suites look updated, our bathroom needed updating At my last stay, the bathroom was much larger and cleaner/newer although the bathroom fan was very noisy. Maybe there are still rooms that will be updated?

The staff were all friendly and very helpful I brought my mother home to Sikeston for her 92nd Birthday and she got sick in the lobby and the staff helped me with her like she was their own Mom and for that I am forever grateful. I will always stay when you when I return home. Thank You

I travel often for my work. As a result, I have stayed at this place 5 or 6 times in the past. I see this hotel as friendly, clean, well maintained, convenient with decent parking. I've enjoyed staying here & will continue. Recommend

Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The check-in clerk recommended a restaurant in town where we ate some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. She was also very friendly and quick. The duck families crossing the road to the pond as we left was just another added bonus of cuteness.

This hotel looked like an old apartment building renovation into a hotel with much wrk in progress. Decent stay. Spacious. Very minimal breakfast offerings. The geese outside sure left messes everywhere but the greeting cat was a nice touch

They had run out of almost everything at breakfast. So just got a cup of coffee.

The check in at night was quick and easy. Great clerk. Check out was a different story. The desk clerk had to keep the breakfast area going as well as check the rooms for damages and take a smoking break, while patrons waited. Breakfast was probsbly the minimum they could get by with and remain under Wyndoms umbrella.

Room was very clean, but heat didn’t work! Went to ask for more blankets and they only had three “blankets” (more like table clothes) in the whole hotel. Also the worst breakfast I’ve seen.

So the room wasn’t bad. Nice bedding, memory foam mattress. Place needs some work but it was habitable. Breakfast was a joke, I’m getting tired of these places claiming they offer an amenity like breakfast. Then you realize they’re idea of breakfast is 2 pieces of bread and coffee. I would rather spend more money for a room to get what I pay for.

Sink in the bedroom would not drain. Big spider in the shower. Not much of a choice for breakfast and the whole place needs updating. Also the grass needed to be cut. Other than that it was okay.

The staff was not helpful. The breakfast was poor and hardly any breakfast. A waffle or cereal and fruit was just a apple. The room was dirty. We won't stay here again.
