The pool was dirty and had chunks of hair floating around in it and seems to be sitting still like the water hasn't been moving. Didn't seem safe health wise. Rooms were decent. Breakfast was horrible.

Front desk checked us in without informing us that there was no hot water and there had been no hot water the day before. However, it was fixed within a hour or two. Hotel was clean, staff was nice. Elevator is extremely slow. There were a lot of dogs, just a heads up for those with allergies.

We were very disappointed because they advertised a shuttle to the airport but it did not start until 0700 am. Our plane took off at 0700. There was nothing in the description to alert us to this. Also when we went to our room the bedside lamp was hanging from the side of the wall. Our expectations were not met with this stay.

Hotel looks nice kept up well. I didn’t like that we booked the room because of the airport shuttle and it was not operating the time we needed it. I was the only reason we booked the room, because of the airport shuttle. Staff was friendly and courteous said they notified proper travel media services but It was not stated on the site used to book the room

The hotel is convenient for my business trips to the area and the price is reasonable. The room is adequate, although I had no control over the temperature; the A/C ran full blast the entire time I was there. Almost no water pressure in the shower--it took forever to rinse off. The main elevator wasn't working. The key cards wouldn't open doors from outside the building and wore out quickly for my room door.

The toilet never stopped running, the floor was filthy, there were cobwebs on all the lights and on the walls in the bedroom. The tv wasn’t working in the bedroom, the bed was hard and the pillows were lumpy. Ice machine didn’t work.

Property is old and run down, walls are dirty tub won’t drain properly. Carpet in halls stained and smell musty. Packing up to leave and saw a roach run across the floor. Felt very uncomfortable and did not rest well at all.

I was so disappointed with this hotel. Literally the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed. Our room, the hallways, and elevator are worn out. The reception area was nice. The carpet on our hall was stained, had spills, and was generally filthy.

The hotel staff were nice but the building, including the rooms were not very clean. The bed were sloppily made and were super lumpy. One had a large dip in the middle. The tub was stained and the carpeting in the hall was littered with leaves and debris. The first attempt to get in the room, we were given a key to a room already occupied. The back door to the hotel was propped open by other patrons for our entire stay.

This property has a huge bug issue. There was cockroach’s crawling on the walls, and all over the bathroom. We killed about a dozen. We notified the front desk and they advised they would speak to their manager and notify us back, we have not heard anything back. We were not the only family with this issue as our entire softball team stayed at this location and had the same issue. Someone needs to look into this, not sure how they could serve breakfast, nor even be open for business.

The place is very rough, and it was very dirty in the common areas. There was a strong ammonia smell in the elevator area, the stairwell was littered with pasta and other trash, there was dog poop literally on my threshold (from someone else's dog) when I came out of my room, and the whole place was pretty filthy. Even for the price in this area, I expected a basic level of cleanliness that was absent. The rooms themselves seemed to be cleaned well, though my coffee accessory pouch had been opened and was missing items, and the sink was very slow to drain. The overall ick factor was high.

Went to stay with my daughter who was having knee replacement surgery in the early morning. Went to room and found the tub dirty, dirty face cloth hanging from the shower curtain rod, rug looked like the was vomit on it and other wiped stains, and mold on the walls. Went to the desk and they gave us another room on the third floor. Of course the elevator was out of order and really hurt my daughter trying to climb the stairs. Got to the room with the windows open and no screens to keep the bugs out. Went to turn down the bed and found bed bugs on the bed and bedding. That was it went to the desk and refused the room. They then told me they couldn’t refund my payment, I made to them. They said I had to contact Expedia for a refund even though I paid at the hotel and not to Expedia. Not sure I will get my money back at this point. La Quintas have always been great, but this one is disgusting.

Convenient to get to and from the highway. Unfortunately, the walls and floors are not very sound proof. When your neighbor uses the restroom or is running water and using the sink or shower, it sounds like they are 4 feet away from you. I appreciate the staff because they are very friendly but this location definitely needs a lot of renovation.

For $300 for 2 nights Add $50 in “taxes” This place was an absolute mess. One would think a hotel in Westport would be at least somewhat nice. The staff was lazy and unwilling to help. They were supposed to put us in a room with a 40inch tv and we got this piece of junk 32 inch that was falling apart. I had to prop the tv up with a pillow because it was laying on its side. The WiFi did not work so I had to use my phones hotspot for internet the entire stay. Called the front desk and they were unwilling to make any changes. I’m a Karen by no means and have never written a bad review in my life but this place is a trash can. All night long it was just noise from other renters including a room with babies and young children running around that had left their door open the entire weekend. The hallway smelled, the bed was hard as a rock, the shower looked like it had been out in 50 years ago and was full of scum. Never again. Highly recommend continuing your search if you have landed on this hotel.

No real major issues with my stay. It was a 3 night stay for some personal trips to familiar sites. Comfortable bed. The clock was hard to see at night if you’re needing to get up early. Breakfast offers something different every day. My only issue would be a limited TV lineup and the YouTube app didn’t connect to the WiFi. Nothing major there. I’d definitely recommend and return here on a future trip.

The room was ok. The A/C wasn’t working which was a major bummer. The hotel overall looks old and beat. Smells of tobacco in the hallways. I took the stairs to the second floor because the elevator took forever and the staircase smells horrible. The whole place smells a pretty bad and old. It needs a serious makeover. I will not return.

The staff and service was great. Our card wouldn't work on our door or the outside doors. Plastic bags covered our smoke detectors and sprinklers, not sure why. The pull out bed had stains and crumbs all over. Certain remotes and outlets don't work. Room next door had a dog that wouldn't stop barking. Hallway smelled like animal pee and pot. Breakfast was good enough. The price was fair.

The hotel was clean, and the room was nice. Breakfast was either low quality ingredients or lack of knowledge by whoever prepared it. However at the end of the stay is when things were really bad. A pair of tennis shoes was left in error on our behalf , which were a very expensive pair of shoes that are no longer made and had been very well maintained so we're clearly not trash. We called within a couple of hours of leaving when we realized they'd been left under the sink in the bathroom and were initially told the cleaning staff said there had not been any issues left. We however had stopped by and ask to see in the room to be sure. They were not in the room and after the front desk staff expressed their hesitant to ask the cleaning team anything further stating they were afraid of them and neither of them spoke English, they allowed us to ask them about it to which the cleaning staff was now saying they did see the shoes but they had been advised to throw them away. We're absolutely sure those shoes were kept and likely are being sold because they are very expensive collector items. And the entire interaction with the staff was incredibly uncomfortable and unprofessional

At check-in, I had requested making sure there was enough bedding for all five of my people that was staying with me. I was told they would send some to our room. They never brought any sheets pillows or blankets to our room. So I asked again. I was told that I couldn’t get any pillows or blankets till the following morning. However, I was only staying the one night so what does that do? I was left sleeping on the floor with no pillows or blankets. My children all had to sleep in the king size bed because that’s the only pillows sheets and blankets that were provided in a room with five people staying in it. I was told by front desk that there was no other pillows and blankets because the hotel was fully booked. But I’m confused on if I was included in that booking number why there wasn’t enough pillows and blankets provided for my room where I booked for five people to be staying in?? The pullout mattress was tiny and all stained up and had crumbs in it. But we never received the bedding to make it anyway. The bathroom smelled like urine terribly. The bathtub dripped the whole time. The bedroom TV remote doesn’t even work. There were cobwebs and bugs and broken door handles. I have never experienced something like this before staying at a hotel so it was just wild.

My keys did not work for my room. Had to get new keys multiple times and was told just to “shake” the key in the door to get it to work…? Also people cleaning the room near me at 8 pm with a vacuum when I had a 4:30 am alarm set to take my medical school boards exam the next morning. Wouldn’t stay here again honestly.

Conditions of furnishings need work. Service was eh but I witnessed unprofessional assistance several times by the staff member being on their cell phone while assisting a guest. The hallways stunk of marijuana. Breakfast was nearly all gone by the time I got down. I don’t plan on staying here again.

Everything was nice. Our flight got delayed and cancelled later and we needed to stay the night. La Quinta shuttle services picked us up from the airport and took us to the airport in the morning.

Everything was nice accept for check-in. Though we'd booked our room hours before, I was told at 10pm that they needed to prep a room for us... So I had to wait...then they couldn't find key cards and I waited longer. It seemed like organization could be improved.

Where do I start?? Good things: * comfortable bed * no bed bugs or bites * no disturbances from outside or other guests. * front desk resolves poorly draining shower issue same day * free hotel waffles at breakfast — yum No so good things: * the facilities were beat up. The whole place could use a fresh coat of paint in the halls and rooms. * I had to approach the front desk three times a day to get my key card remagnitized. That got old quickly especially after 3 nights. I kept the key in their paper sleeve as directed. Still no luck. * bottom of the tub was filthy. Most likely due the very slow draining tub. Why the cleaning staff let that go without alerting management is beyond me * Parking lot has strewn garbage everywhere and felt unsafe * Could not connect the room TV to the internet to watch my Netflix. At the end of the day, it was fine for a single male. I would not consider this for my family or a repeat visit for myself.

I am from Newjersey. To me personally if you are in a budget this is good if you are out of state. They have shuttle which can take you to the hotel and away from the hotel.restaurants are less than 10mins drive from the hotel and inside st louis isnt fsr to me the location is good. The only thing is the smell i know they are trying their best but the rug inside the room has a smell so i suggest if checkin can come with plug in air fresheners and i suggest a deep cleaning of the rugs on each check out. For the food eat what your body wants everyone cannot have the same taste buds my daughter and i had waffles and bagels with a nice cream chesse we stayed here for 3 days for the bathroom it shouldnt be wiped but cleaned with scouring powder and bleach to maintain the whiteness. Other than that to me its budget friendly and i would suggest honest reviews are kept rather than coming here to condemn someone business. We didnt use the pool because i was not satisfied with the cleaning maybe because its outdoor so we went out to the waterparks to enjoy ourselves. So this hotel is a good place to just lay your head and go out and enjoy st louis and them come back to sleep.

Property was selected for proximity to airport and shuttle. The hours of shuttle operation were not on the Travelocity site but buried on the hotel web site. We had an early flight and had to get an Uber to the airport. Would not have selected the hotel if the hours were readily available. No dining options In walking distance. Boiler was down so no hot water not Management's fault. Alarm clock kept time but alarm did not work. Bed was comfortable.

Maintenance was a little low. I had light bulbs out in my room. Black out curtains were too far from the windows, so let in a lot of parking lot light. Staff was friendly enough, bed comfortable. Was pretty good all in all. Not too much of interest in the immediate area- nothing to walk to.

The entire hotel smelled! mostly like weed. the breakfast was a joke. We were there about 15 mnutes and never did have any eggs. when asked, "they are cooking" was the response. it doesn't take 15 minutes to cook eggs. problems with the waffle machine and huge line. Needed more staff/better staff handling that. checkin and checkout was convenient being via text so that was a postivie.

The breakfast had good choice. Management was somewhat helpful. They want you to use Towels for 3 Days. Unless you ask for fresh set. We ask for a fresh set of towels and got them, but no washcloths.
