The location is great for a concert at Hollywood amphitheater but the place is just okay. The room itself was fine, clean and basic. There was no AC in the gym and that was like 85 degrees. I wasn’t down for the hot yoga experience. The pool was closed and not set up and it’s mid June, which is beyond bizarre. The breakfast was decent but overall just an okay stay.

Nice, newly renovated hotel. Very clean. Quiet. Friendly staff. Very close to the Hollywood Casino and Amphitheater. Also about a 10 minute drive to The Factory in Chesterfield via the Maryland Heights Expressway. Nice pond and sitting area in the back with clear water and lots of turtles. We will stay again. Was about half the price of other hotels that I looked at in Chesterfield Mo.

I will never stay at Eilmwood again. This property is very run down. Most of the rooms were not ready at check in time. There were no paper towels in the hall bathrooms. Light fixtures in halls were broken, hallway floors had stains, mirror light in bathroom was broken, ice machine broken on 6th floor, 5th floor ice machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several years, wallpaper ripped off walls, dirt in windowsills, black stains on pillowcases, pull cord on curtain broken off. The shower in our room was broken. We found this out after we got back from a concert. We had to pack up and switch rooms at 12:30am. There were no pool towels both days we went to pool. All of the "hot" items for breakfast were cold. There was no hand soap in either of our rooms. There were no kleenexes. The whole hotel was humid. The front desk staff were not friendly, either at check in or checkout. I did let front desk know of problems. The impression I walked away with is they could've cared less. I have stayed in alot of hotels over the past 3 years, over 30, and this has been the worse. Stay somewhere else!!

Our hotel stay was great. The area outside of the hotel is beautiful. Staff was very pleasant. Plenty of parking. Rooms were clean. Just wish the pool area was open. It was beautiful outside and would have been great to sit by the pool. Will most defintely be back.

I stay at this hotel for the convenience of going to concerts at the nearby Amphitheater. The shuttle service is great, and the patio is perfect for afterwards. The hotel rooms are clean, but the halls and elevators could all use a good scrubbing. The hotel is also being renovated, so upgrades are hopefully forthcoming!

The staff were amazing….But the hotel Itself smelt old and musty, the elevators about give you a panic attack so old and jerky, and about slid and fell in the shower because the slip strips had been taken out and it was very slippery and the curtains were old and stained up as well as the carpets.

From the front desk to our room everything was filthy. The rug in the elevator looked like it had never been vacuumed or cleaned. The carpet in the hallway was also filthy. The property smelled musty and damp. Our keurig machine in our room did not work and the lamps were broken. The desk clerks were rude. We booked this hotel because it was close to the amphitheater but we will never stay there again.

The entire hotel was filthy. The lobby looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for months. There was dirt built up along the edges of the floors and walls. The room was wasn’t vacuumed, the sheets were stained (I’m hoping it was stains) pillow cases had brown stains on them which I’m assuming was from other peoples makeup. Hair in the bathtub. The breakfast area smelled like sewage. The staff was nice. The best thing about the stay was the pond full of turtles in the back that you could feed. Would never go back or recommend it to anyone. It needs a whole remodel.

We were placed in a room initially with a broken refrigerator, damp carpet, and a broken remote. We were then moved to a room that was under construction. There was a towel and a dirty toothbrush outside the room door. We were then moved to a 3rd room. This room was so damp, hot, and humid: the entire room smelled of mildew. Sitting on the furniture made your clothes wet. The AC either didn’t work at all, or was barely functional, as it was very hot. There was mold in all of the vents as well as all the restroom ceilings in each room we were placed in. When we decided not to stay there and request a refund, we were mysteriously charged 81$ for no apparent reason. (The manager couldn’t even find out why we were charged this) we requested a refund via Expedia and the service was wonderful on their end. The person who spoke to the Expedia representative told her “there wasn’t anything wrong with the third room.” Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Do not recommend unless you thoroughly enjoy mold.

We stayed for just one night for the Green day concert. We did arrive a little early but they did let us check in. The lady at the desk was very nice and made check in easy. She also let us know about the shuttle which took us to and from the show. Our room was decent but could really use a little bit of repair and updating. Overall it was it was pretty quiet and comfy. I would probably stay here again for another show.

Stayed on Thursday night. King room. Fairly quiet in the hotel, but could hear the planes throughout the night. The pictures of this hotel definitely make it look nicer than it is. It's a classic case of judging a book by it's cover. The outside looks nice, but the inside shows it's age as old and worn out. It could be much nicer than it is with some overall updating of the floors, walls and lighting. I was disappointed with my initial impressions of the lobby and elevator, but I got what I paid for.

This was the third time I’ve stayed here and the staff were excellent. The condition of the room was a 3 out of 5 the lighting was really dark in the room and it took a long time to cool down the room. The bedding was comfortable

In town for a concert right down the street. Figured they would have several people working the front counter with all the people, but no, only one person on duty. After waiting in line for about 25 minutes I finally get to the counter and then after I told him my name looks at the screen for about five minutes and says I don’t have anything for you. Mind you, I booked this several months ago. Specifically wanted two beds and a sleeper pull out. I feel sorry for the guy at the counter but I’m so irritated with management that they had no one else working and even more irritated they screwed my room up. The whole check in process took about an hour. Thankfully, the dude at the counter did give us two rooms, but we still had to double up in one bed.

It is understaffed. The female working the front desk was very friendly. She was the only person at the front desk I saw Monday thru Wednesday The rooms need updating. The paint was peeling on the shower ceiling. The bathtub was worn . The bathroom sink had a crack in it. The carpeting was dirty. I had higher expectations.

Some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with while traveling. How understanding, helpful and going the extra mile for my daughter and I had had us bot saying St. Louis ehh but man the people are some of the nicest we have ever met and the people at the Elimwood were at the top of them all!

At check in, Grace the only hostess, was extremely rude & hateful. She acted as if I was interrupting something and instead of asking what she could do for me me or how can I help you, she says what do you want want? When I started to explain she cuts me off and says nope check is at 4!! I was explaining that I had called on my way up and she mumbled something and walked off When she came back I explained again I had called and the woman who answered told me it was fine to come on in and check in when I arrived at St Louis. Grace rolled her eyes and said u will have to wait because I am helping someone else. When she finally waited on me she was short, hateful, and could not hear or understand what she was saying. After I was shamed and belittled for reasons be known to me, i was charged a $50 security deposit I was never informed about. Finally get to go to our room and it only began to get worse. Elevator floor was all torn & scratched up, carpet was stained and nasty. I paid over $200 for a one night stay in a place that I should of just walked out of and stayed elsewhere but since we were attending a concert & they offered free shuttle service I figured it was best to just stay and deal with it.

The location of this hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was right next to Interstate 70 and was so convenient as we came in to yown and as we ventured out during the day. Room was clean, nice beds and a great stay overall.

Felt like there was no ac on especially in the elevator. Very disappointed in the breakfast, went down 45 minutes after breakfast started and there was nothing hot in the silver trays. If you didnt want oatmeal you could have pancakes for a hot breakfast. It was okay for the night but I would spend a little extra to stay somewhere else.

The hotel is in need of some updating. Staff were super friendly. It was nice that they provided a free shuttle to the concert at the amphitheater but pick up after the show was crazy. Breakfast was probably the best I have had in a free hotel breakfast.

Customer service was awesome. Easy check in & check out. Convenient location to the Hollywood Casino Ampa Theater. Hotel was a little outdated, but they are in the process of major remodeling. Breakfast was descent nice variety. Milk was spoiled, but once notified them. They were quick to change all of it out. So I do recommend this hotel.

First of all, there’s only a hot breakfast on the weekends. Good to know ahead of time. Secondly, the building and furnishings are on their last leg. As my husband said, lipstick on a pig.

Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. Great location to the HC amphitheater, with transportation to and from. Short walk also. Hot breakfast is only available on the weekends, which was nor mentioned on the website. It was just grab and go during the week. Disappointed with that.
