9/10- Great stay at this Comfort Inn and Suites. Breakfast was hot and decent, with waffles, yogurt and fruit. Coffee/tea around the clock. Pool was nice, though hot tub was down. The rooms are older. Be prepared to flush the toilet a few times if you do a #2 (TMI I know!) lol Great vibes overall. We would definitely stay again.

I called the Sunday before our trip to make sure the hot tub was in working order They said yes It was not and had not been for a while They charged us extra beyond the price i reserved for that was not a deposit ($8) Beds are very soft but pleasant Rooms and hotel were clean Carpet def is old but for the price, cant have everything perfect! All in all good Just wish they wouldve told us honestly about the hot tub situation before we arrived Lights plug was dangerous

This hotel was about what I expected for the price in Detroit. The breakfast was a little disappointing, most of the food was gone by 9 and one lady was making waffles and wouldn’t let anyone else use the machine even though she had been using it for at least 15 mins straight. The 2nd waffle maker was out of order. did nothing to help with the situation. The hot tub was out of order as well as both pool ladders. Towels were all over the floor in the pool area right when the pool opened at 10 am.

Hot tub was shut down, there was painters tape on the ceiling around rusted vents, and rusted bathrooms that were out of order. There were stains in the carpeting in the hallway and paint missing from the wall. We were supposed to have 2 queens beds and only got 2 doubles. The conditioner was empty in our room. Honestly the pictures looked like they were from when the hotel was first made it now it looks run down inside and not at all like the pictures. At midnight there were car alarms going off, tires screeching, and then 5 cops showed up, and ended what looked like a fight about to break out between multiple individuals dressed in all black. The pool was warm at least, the beds seemed clean, and breakfast was good. Other than that I wouldn't go back.

The hotel is in a good location. The hotel is dated and smells like marijuana. The pool was cloudy and the hot tub was out of order. The carpet in our room had hard, sticky candy stuck in the carpet.

Staff/Gal at check in was EXTREAMLY nice! The cleanliness of the lobby was just ok, the elevator had dirt and garbage on the floor, someone on our floor was smoking marijuana. Our room was also very dirty, the bed had hair on it, the chair & desk area had crumbs all over it. It was filthy enough that we decided NOT to stay. So very disappointing.

The hotel was dirty ,there was a chicken wing bone in the elevator floor, the pool area had globs of hair every where the hot tub didn't work, the person working the front desk was pretty much clueless about things. The television in my room didn't work, I did get to switch rooms, which didn't turn out any better the people next door where loud all night. The hotel smelled like a dispensary and the hallways felt like a sauna I do not recommend this hotel, I booked for 2 nights and ended up checking out the next morning and going somewhere else...

I was very disappointed at the hotel online the rooms look beautiful when you get to the hotel it’s not very dirty rooms, trash and garbage in the hallway they never clean the rooms I had two the bathroom sink was broken. The TV never worked in the room I want my money back

The room was not as clean as I expected. There was dust on the bedside lamps and tables. The shampoo container was empty. There were also stains on the mattress sheets. Overall, the hallways, elevators, and common areas were not clean enough to feel comfortable.

The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. But the property itself needs to be updated. The halls and elevators were filthy. The floors in the rooms as well. I didn’t feel safe due to guys hanging out in the building smoking and drinking. I felt Very uncomfortable parking my vehicle in the rear of the building.

Do not stay here if your value cleanliness. The carpets are beyond dirty. The light switches and surfaces streaked with some sort of red sauce or something. Everything was damp and sticky. Grosses stay ever. Thank god the beds weren’t too bad even with the weird mini pillows.

Got to our room and we found a bed bug on our bed. Took it down to front desk and no apology or anything said to get it off her desk. I wanted to show her so they didnt give me crap about wanting a refund. Do not go there, no running ice machines. Dirty

The Comfort Inn was a quiet environment and a friendly place with decent parking. However, I stayed in this place many years ago, and the only thing that comes to mind for me is that the property is getting older and should be updated to reflect more modern rooms, due to the new inflation in hotel prices.

My only complaint is that there is no room darkener for sleeping. Only window covering was a sheer curtain which made it light in room at sun-up. This was due to heater/AC under the window that a curtain would have covered.

Check in was easy and fast. Was given the wrong room tho. Went to room and key worked but the security lock was locked so someone was in the room. House cleaning staff tried to help me but didn’t speak English and let me into a neighboring room and I went back down to the desk to confirm that I was supposed to be in the room I was let in and get my keys changed. Front desk staff was nice and helpful.

I’ve already filed my police report but I would like to speak to the manager about my refund for the night and about his front desk staff. I arrived today and within 40 min I had $470 stolen from my room. When I co fronted the front desk girl she was acting very shady and I Lori ex she put my in a room in the blind spot of the camera. She then called the cops and told them I have a firearm which I clearly did not but was still taken off the property for “trespassing” I need this issue resolved and my refund back for the night!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I was without a door knob for 4 days on the bathroom i kept asking and they did nothing for it. Also when you request towels they didnt bring them or when you went to the desk the would want you to carry wet dirty towels to the front desk!!!!! THIS PLACE WAS A HOT MESS

Other than having been given keys to a room that was very occupied and having to wait 20 minutes at breakfast for coffee our stay was ok. The lady who checked us in was overwhelmed and quite frazzled. Other checkin staff was fine.

We came here after a horrid Airbnb. This place was clean, had a hot tub in our room and was way cheaper than the Airbnb. Dawn at the front desk was a joy to work with from checkin in to me messing up a online extension to our reservation. Lol she fixed everything for us. Rooms had everything we needed, breakfast was served hot every morning. Couldnt have asked for anything better. We will be staying there next year for sure.

From the very beginning was horrible. I pre-booked my room (2 queen beds) on Hotels.com weeks in advanced, Upon arriving at the hotel for check in, I was advised that my room was no longer available and they only have a queen room available with sofa bed. I explained my room was paid for as I booked 2 beds and they said they do not have it available. Upon going up to the room given to me (1 king bed and sofa) the sofa bed was stained beyond crazy and they provided no sheets, pillow or blankets for 3 people (for the sofa bed). I went back down to the reception and explained this isn't going to work and the springs are popping out of the bed. They needed to either find a room with 2 queen beds or give me 2 rooms with king beds. They said there was 1 room (#340) they is showing "not rentable" in his system but he will check it out. He went up to the room and came back down and said he will give me this room. Upon arriving to the room, all you could smell is bleach, which leads me to believe they were seriously "covering" something up that happened in this room. We could not sleep and could not breath from the strong bleach smell and it made everyone sick to our stomachs. We opened the window and when i smelt my mattress the bleach smell was so strong. This has been the WORST experience I have had in a hotel. I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel and horrible service to anyone.

The hallways were dirty. A lady was sitting outside the doorway with garbage bags around her. The parking lot had garbage all around. Graffitied train cars were behind the hotel. Hallway doors were scratched and marred. Wouldn’t sleep on there beds with a ten foot pole!!!! We left and went somewhere else. Want my money back!!! Will never do business with Expedia again!!!

This place is not kept up great. Our room was clean but the curtains had tears and it hung over the air conditioner vents. Breakfast area had flies and gnats. The employee who was supposed to refill the food sat in the corner on her phone

Room was fairly clean but unstocked- no towels, no conditioner, only 1 soap bar for shower/none for the sink Booked the hotel under impression that there was a hot tub, there was only a pool which looked cloudy/not super clean and did not have any towels available for use despite shelving for them A lot of people hanging out outside, had to wait to even pull into the driveway to park since there were so many people just hanging out at the entrance, kind of strange Continental breakfast was very good, included waffles, sausage and eggs; pleasantly suprised by that

Excellent location for Ford Field. Far enough away to avoid the high downtown prices. Close enough to get to the field in 15 minutes. The hotel overall is a very nice hotel. The room was great and quiet. The staff, top notch. Especially the gentleman that set the breakfast up earlier than scheduled so that we could get a breakfast in before we had to be a Ford Field by 7am.
