This motel was okay. Each member of the staff I interacted with was very helpful and kind, especially Elizabeth - major thanks to her for her help! Outside of great staff, the motel left a lot to be desired. Our room was incredibly humid - I suspect all the rooms could benefit from a dehumidifier. The pool was undergoing renovations, so hopefully once that is complete, future stays for guests will be better. Basically, I’d say the motel worked for our needs. Nothing went horribly wrong but it also wasn’t outstanding. It’s in a good location for visiting Acadia National Park and also has plenty of dining options nearby.

This isnt exactly the facilities fault but Expedia needs to include more descriptions than "breakfast included" because while the coffee was amazing, they only had pre-packaged cereals and granola bars. I could have done that. That was by far the most disappointing. I specifically got this hotel because others in the area didnt include breakfast; I paid more for this motel under the impression I wouldn't have to cover breakfast the next day. Granted, they are dog friendly, so I understand the packaged food, but regardless, we need more than "breakfast included" as a description, please. I'm really disappointed in this app more than the place itself; this isn't the first time this has happened.

Points positifs: il y a plusieurs commerces à proximité et c'est un endroit calme. La piscine est fermée «for a long time», comme nous a dit la personne à l'accueil. Le petit déjeuner n'est composé que de céréales et de lait. Au moins il y avait du café, mais à l'accueil seulement et pas dans les chambres. Le petit déjeuner est nettement insuffisant et contrairement à ce qui est annoncé sur le site Internet du motel, il ne constitue vraiment pas un petit déjeuner de type continental.

I would not stay here again. On the add it shows a beautiful pool that we now know has been closed for a year. The add should state that. The continental breakfast is so sparse we had to go to breakfast so we could continue on our vacation. Extremely disappointing.

Location is good. Right on the road that leads to Acadia National Park, about 25 minutes away. Also near a Walmart and other stores. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor. The room was very spacious but did not have a clock. The breakfast was very basic. Just cereal and oatmeal. Coffee tea and juice are available all day. But I would definitely stay here again.

It’s outdated. Needing an overhaul. Expected so much more for the close to $200 a night I paid. The room was dark and smelled like a carton of cigarettes and it was a non-smoking room.

I am 65 years of age and have travelled extensively. This is the worst facility that I have ever had the misfortune to experience. The facility is completely filthy and smells of filth. Dirty walls, peeling paint, dirt and food crumbs everywhere that obviously has been there for who knows how long. A most disgusting facility and experience. I immediately requested a full refund and left the facility.

The motel is dated and from the outside I was hesitant about what I had gotten myself into, but once inside the property is exceedingly well maintained and VERY clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again

Older hotel but kept very clean. Room was clean and had basic necessities. Very quiet and restful. Staff was very accommodating. Very good value compared to other hotels in the area. Continental breakfast included cereals, juice, coffee, etc. Would definitely stay here again when next in the area.

Definitely a 2/5. Carpet in room was either dirty or stained. Interestingly, there was a mini fridge and microwave in room, but no coffee maker. Entrance is on a one way street, so if you miss it, it's about a mile around the block to get back. No hair dryer in room. Very nice manager, felt very safe there. Poor water pressure but great hot water.

The hotel was not very bad at all. I did have one issue with the internet not working in my room. I told the front desk about it and she said it was working fine on her phone but her phone wasn't in my room. I didn't expect her to fix it or anything, I just wanted to let her know it wouldn't connect in my room. In any case she said there was nothing to do about it. You are about 1/2 hour from Acadia so that is nice. The room was clean and the amenities were nice. The only other problem was someone above stomping on the floor at 4 AM. This isn't a management problem but it wouldn't hurt to notify guests on the 2nd floor to not stomp on the floors.

We needed a reasonably priced hotel close to Arcadia and this hotel fit thr bill. It is an older property, but they keep the rooms clean and offer coffee and a variety of cereals in the morning. It is pretty close to the park and Bar Harbor. If you are on a budget, and plan to stay a few days, we recommend you consider this option.

i loved this place. It was a comfortable 'blast from the past'. An antique quilt hangs in the lobby and a little church pew serves for seating. There's delicious coffee in the morning, free wifi, a zillion channels on TV, plenty of AC along with clean, comfortable beds.They even have real keys to your room that turn in a lock! Everyone was super nice. a little hard to find--it's on a one way street with a sign but the entrance drive curves up and a round and is not obviously marked. Once you find it, however, you'll be glad you did.

Friendly, helpful..parking full on arrival, tour buses took 2 spaces each,,,nothing walkable..travel to town. Required drive in opposite direction, then cross over thru lights to head back towards town. Ice machine empty, all taken. No electric in bath/sink area for hair dryer, etc.

We stayed 4 days and 3 nights in this motel. Our experience checking in and out was smooth. The receptionist was pleasant and accommodating. The room was relatively clean. The breakfast offered coffee, tea, chocolate, and juice, whereas cereale is served with variety of choice. The place is quiet and clean on the whole, and it is located near shopping and dining places.

Extremely overpriced for a motel that hasn’t been updated since it was built. They literally didn’t even have a single extra pillow to offer when ours were completely flat. Cold cereal and oatmeal for breakfast. They even ran out of granola bars the second night.
