The breakfast was very sparse. Only cereal, oatmeal and fruit cups. How about a muffin or toast. Even a granola bar would have been good. The staff was nice. The shower needed to be reglazed.

This lodge was much nicer inside the updated rooms than from the outside appearance. The check in was really easy and informative- super friendly and helpful. We really didn’t eat the breakfast there as it was just some cereal options but they have tea, coffee, and juice available all day. I recommend they update their breakfast items and add some more options. Check out the Sugar Bakery in Trenton for breakfast, which is just before you cross into Bar Harbor. The beds were firm, which I like, and the AC was running well. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. There is no closet but there’s a rack in the room. The bathroom is standard, nothing fancy, with on-the-shower refillable supplies for toiletries. There is a sink outside the bathroom to use. The WiFi and TV options were fine. It was a good place to stay as there were lots of places nearby, including the LL Bean outlet. We enjoyed driving into the town to Fogtown Brewery and walking around downtown, where there was live music playing outdoors in the plaza. This is a good hotel if you are looking for a lower price than staying in Bar Harbor, but it’s not fancy.
