We really enjoyed the location. It was close enough to walk to the Navy Pier and the whole area was pretty nice overall. The front desk staff and parking attendants were very helpful. My only complaints are that the pool was really cold and there is no hot tub.

Very clean and friendly hotel. The pool was broke which was unfortunate since it was the basis of the appeal for our trip. But the hotel gave us free breakfast and a late check out for the In convince. Close to everything on the mag mile.

very much enjoyed my stay and probably would stay again. it was super close to a lot of major attractions. pool was nice, clean and warm, it was smaller than expected tho. our standard room was nice and modern with a half way decent view, the room itself could’ve been way cleaner imo but nothing baffling. parking garage was accessible thru the hotel paid $70 a night. overall would recommend if your looking for something affordable with basic amenities

great central location for mag mile shopping & food options. sbux in the hotel lobby is very convenient and allows mobile ordering. the staff was friendly and accommodating. i didn’t see any housekeeping staff during our 3 night stay and they never came to our room. limited trash receptacles in room and no trash bags to empty it yourself if housekeeping is not provided daily. overall- would stay again and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location in the heart of the city. everything you wanna do is a walk or short drive away. clean property polite staff. indoor pool and gym was nice. pool was a little small. everything you needed was right on site. wish they had a microwave in the room but that was the only downside about the room. overall great stay

Upon arriving to the property, I noticed the front lobby area was not the cleanest. When we got up to our room, it was disappointingly dirty also. The floors had crumbs and stain marks everywhere. The bathroom looked like it was cleaned up in a rush. My wife and I both could not sleep that night due to the uncomfortable bed we were provided. We originally booked for two nights but we checked out the next morning and booked another hotel elsewhere.

The front desk staff greeted us warmly upon arrival, making check-in a breeze. Valet parking was also straightforward. However, when we entered our room, there was an unpleasant odor in the bathroom area. I informed the front desk, and they quickly dispatched someone to address the issue, which resolved the smell. Overall, the room was clean, but I did observe that the carpets were quite dirty and appeared to have not been vacuumed. Additionally, there were some black spots on the shower curtains. Check-out was also easy.

Staff was friendly and amazing. We arrived to the property early and were able to check in early. Property was in a central location, close to almost everything. We walked to almost every destination. There was a fridge in the room , but the only microwave was downstairs in the market area. Cleanliness was an issue. Beds and linen were clean. Remote was disgusting. Shower walls were also disgusting. The wall in between the bed and night stand had a splash of something that had dried. Great property, just need to clean more thoroughly.

The Marriott was great - very clean - great staff. The only major problem was the traffic noise- we were in the 14th floor and the traffic noise and sirens were terrible! I couldn’t believe how loud and how many sirens we heard all day and night!

Overall, the hotel was nice, but I was very disappointed with the room I was given. It was extremely small and oddly shaped—more like a converted closet than a standard room. Everything felt crammed into the limited space, and the layout was uncomfortable. The TV was mounted awkwardly on the wall right next to the bed, making it hard to enjoy. Unfortunately, this really affected my experience and I wasn’t happy with my stay in that particular room.

Overall, it was fine. The rooms could do with a bit more soundproofing, as you can hear EVERYTHING in the halls. Pool was small and overcrowded. I'd forgotten how noisy it is in the city - frequent sirens during the night. For urban dwellers, this would be great!

House keeping staff did not enter room to clean nor did they provide fresh towels. I had to call and request fresh bath towels. We arrived early and were told if we wanted to check into the room that the cost would be an additional fee of $55.00 on top of the $700 I spent for the room. I find this to be unfair and greedy on the part of the Marriott Hotel. I would never stay at any Marriot or affiliate hotel and will not recommend the Marriot to anyone in the future . Awful experience

Forever one of my favorite hotels and one of my two favorite Courtyard properties I've ever stayed at! This is the 3rd year in a row we've stayed here when coming to Chicago and it never disappoints. It feels like a high-end hotel for an affordable price (considering where it is)! The staff is great super helpful, rooms are so clean and overall just is one of the nicest places! Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot in Chicago!

Nice restaurant downstairs. Everywhere was walkable including grocery store, shopping, restaurants, and convenience stores.

Valet laughed and watched me struggle with my suitcases, both coming and going. The manager Joe was helpful the first day, giving me one night of valet free, as I was near tears. But unless you can carry your own bags, don't expect any help here. Or respect.

Everything about the hotel was great except for the location. Even though it was near the Magnificent Mile, it became apparent very quickly at night time it wasn’t very safe. There were a few alley ways filled with some funny/suspicious looking people and kept staring at us as if they intended to do something.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the Magnificent Mile. There’s a Starbucks conveniently located downstairs and a Dunkin’ right across the street. Public transportation is also nearby, with both the train and buses within walking distance. We made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch. We waited so long for coffee. We asked for sugar and waited so long that my husband ended up getting up and asking for sugar himself. An hour had passed and still no breakfast. We were then told it would be another 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed and still no breakfast. Mind you, people after us had already received their breakfast. Our waiter was horrible. I honestly think he hadn’t even put in our order. The place was small and wasn’t even full. So on Mother’s Day, my family and I left what supposed to be a nice brunch with no breakfast after ha i g been there for over an hour and a half. Then had to rush to get up the airport. Terrible and unprofessional waiter.

Great location. Close to Michigan Ave and many restaurants. Shower backed up and black ooze came up through drain. Property did not attempt to fix it for two days and still was not fixed the day we checked out. Bar is only open from 5 pm to 10 pm. Even on weekends.

Our stay at the Courtyard was wonderful. The ability to quickly get to downtown locations, nice beds, and a good atmosphere made our choice well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Copper Fox Gastropub, the in hotel restaurant, is friendly and has fantastic food.

It was fine. It was clean. It was in a great location conveniently to walking anywhere and everywhere. However the water pressure in the shower was pretty non-existent, had a hard time washing my hair and getting the shampoo and conditioner out. Lighting was terrible in the bathroom for makeup application. Electrical plug in bathroom did not work and could not be reset so I had to blowdry my hair with the only plug available which was in the corner of the room on my knees so I could see in the only other mirror in the room on the nightstand. No full length mirror and I guess the doors to closet were broken, but just the clips were there like there was a door there before. Lastly, there's no luggage rack to hold your suitcase, Not the end of the world, but something to note. Staff was friendly. We didn't use the amenities but nice having a Starbucks in the hotel.
