The room was perfect for our family of 6. The hotel laundry was convenient, but it would have been. Ice to have more machines. The only disappointment was that the gym equipment was in disrepair. There were two bikes - a Peloton and a nice spin style bike. The seat adjustment knobs on the peloton was broken, so the seat slid back and forth and couldn’t be adjusted. The tension knob on the regular spin bike had been broken off and left that way. I really hate to miss my exercise on vacation, so this was an important issue for us. The breakfast was adequate. We would stay again.

Excellent location and hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were awesome. Elevators were wonky but fine. We walked down and waited the long waits due to them being out of order and only one working for the way back up. Would def stay again and recommend.

Great location for site seeing and touring Chicago. Very friendly staff, amenities were very nice. Room was really spacious with separate living room and kitchen area. Breakfast was a nice start to the day. Room wasn’t cleaned one night but front desk quickly brought fresh towels. Indoor pool wasn’t heated so was quite chilly.

Great location. Nice lobby area. Seemed fairly new. The pool was fantastic with a nice outside area immediately next door. We did find the breakfast to be fairly limited in options though compared to other Hamptons we’ve stayed in.

Opposite a fire and ambulance station stayed in room 323 so was noisy throughout the night. Room was nice but you have to pre-order housekeeping which was a stretch as not a budget hotel. Pre ordered and did not turn up. 3 phone calls later room serviced (use the term loosely) at 17:30. Clean towels put in room and bed made. Dirty towels left in shower no replacements of coffee etc I had to go to reception for those. Room not hoovered or cleaned. Breakfast OK not bad enough to complain. $65 dollars parking fee which I did not have a problem with as its a big city. on top of everything else though enough to not stay next time I'm afraid. Worst of 10 hotels we stayed in during our trip. Loved Chicago, good location. Staff friendly and polite would I stay here again no. Nowhere near as good as the reviews suggest.

Not the best, poor room cleaning and service. Went multiple Days without service. Toilet ran continuously and overflowed maintenance came up to fix fairly swiftly but then housekeeping didn’t want to clean up that night despite towels all over the floor. They did clean but were upset they had to do it and called down to complain to someone. Sink didn’t drain well. Pillows were comfortable.

Really smooth check in and check out. Good breakfast options. Was a bit disappointed in the fact that the room was not as clean (lots of dust and crumbs in corners). The kitchen area also did not have any of the amenities that normally come with suites (dish soap, sponge, plates, utensils). We picked a suite so it would be easy to make meals for kids but we felt like there was nothing there except a microwave and sink which we could’ve had for less $$ in a regular room.

Vallet parking was a nightmare, was told by one employee there was space available but the vallet drivers yelled at me stating there was no room and it would be a 2 hour wait. Frustrating to try and navigate the self parking that is several blocks away and walk with luggage and kids. Outlets in room did not work, windows extremly difficult to open, mildew in the shower, and the pillows were extremely thin/soft.

Bella at the front desk was kind and super helpful. We enjoyed her character and assistance. The pool was wretched. I could not see my feet under two feet of water and my legs immediately became entangled in large Matt’s of dark hair. Disgusting condition. Towels everywhere, water too questionable to allow my son into, the pool was a number. The hotel, it was bursting. It was so full the elevator was ridiculous, the noise from the pool was epic and people were up partying and slamming doors all night. The room itself was decent. Bit of hair in the bed, bit of nasty in the corners. They did clean the room during the day which was nice. I would say very mediocre.

Arrived around 12:30pm. Initially my Hotels.com reservation couldn't be found, but was quickly resolved as they are in-between systems. A shout-out to Yolo for getting us squared away. We opted not to pay $25 extra for early check-in, but took advantage of their complimentary luggage holding service. Came back around 2:45pm and was able to check-in without the additional charge. Hotel lobby was beautiful, and room was very nice. Our room was on the top floor (12th floor). The only complaint was the water pressure, or lack thereof. Location was very convenient to the Red Line.

This property was everything I hoped for after reading the reviews. The lobby looked amazing as it did in the pictures, but the suite was just as pristine as well which is always a concern. We loved the modern kitchenette space. The bedding was comfortable. The internet access supported all of our devices. The hotel itself was centrally located to plenty of activities restaurants, a convenience store and even a grocery store. We were able to walk most places and Ubers were easily accessible. We did get a room on the opposite side from the fire station which was helpful. Even though we could still hear the siren, it wasn’t bothersome as it is just part of city living. It didn’t disturb our sleep nor our kids. We would most definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a long weekend with 4 kids. Rented the Queen corner suite. My daughter said the pull out couch bed was the most comfortable she has stayed on in a hotel. Room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Staff was exceptional, especially, Bella, who checked us in and remembered me by name throughout the stay. Everything we wanted to see was within 20 mins walking distance (Navy Pier, Riverwalk, restaurants, Millennium Park).

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn. Easy walk to the river & shopping/dining. Our suite was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly. One thing to keep in mind is if your room is on the street ours was, it's across the street from the fire station & the sirens are frequent & very loud. It's the only reason my review is 4 star instead of 5. The hotel itself is lovely and we would stay again, but in a different room.

The hotel misrepresented a lot of their fees. I was charged a different price for parking than advertised. Additional charge to check in a few hours early, even though our room was ready. I didn’t even have the room for 24 hours and paid $640 dollars for one room. Outrageous. We also asked for a rollaway bed 4 times. On the 4th time we were told it would be a $25 fee, I was then charged $54. I was then charged the $100 hold free that should have been an “hold” and I had to call back to discuss all these charges because I never received a receipt for charges upon checkout. I paid Disney prices for subpar hotel, service, misadvertising and constantly up charged. The hotel also is right across the street from the fire station. We had sirens blaring in our videos the entire time we were there. It was incredibly loud and kept my family up all night. The staff at the front were very kind during check in so that was appreciated.

The stay was amazing! We stay here everytime we are in the city. The staff is amazing! We get a suite when there and it’s always perfect. Jody and Arthur are wonderful and check in with you your entire stay. They also know some good places to eat, and to check out. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Uber and Lyft cars are available consistently in minutes.

My husband and I stayed here with our two-year-old and had a great time. I'd stay here again. The location is very convenient to walk down to the river or around River North. It was clean and comfortable with good air-conditioning, a plentiful breakfast with many options, and a pool area. My only deductions on my rating are because when we arrived after flying in from the East Coast and went to check in, we were told our reservation had been cancelled! This was extremely stressful, as we had not done this and were counting on the hotel for our six-night stay. Expedia and/or Hampton Inn had some glitch in their system that caused our room to be cancelled without notifying us. The hotel was fully booked except for one room, which was not the room type we had reserved, so we had to spend a night in a smaller room and then move to the suite we had reserved for the rest of our stay. It was stressful and inconvenient for the start of our trip, but the rest of the trip was very enjoyable. I'd just suggest calling to confirm your room is reserved before arriving to avoid the stress we had. As I said, however, I'd still stay here again!

The front desk gentlemen that checked us in (forgot his name) was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with the self parking or valet parking if you wanted. He even offered us to see which view we would like our room facing which is nice because we are from out of town and wanted a pleasant view and experience from the hotel.

This will be my go to hotel from this point on when in Chicago. The staff, from reception, to valet services, to housekeeping, to breakfast services were amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful, they made you feel like family. It is w/in walking distance of Navy pier, shopping venues and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is family friendly, it’s clean and well maintained.

Great customer service, from front desk to check out to Valet and breakfast. I as so impressed it’s not often every staff member is do wonderful during a hotel stay. Pamela in the breakfast area was so helpful and looked after us with my husband being disabled. I hope to stay here again in the future

Bella at the front desk made our stay better than expected. From the moment she greeted us, we felt like this was going to be a great stay. She remembered my name and was great at conversation. She had suggestions and encouragement about activities we had planned. We’ve traveled a great deal, and I don’t ever remember a better front desk representative. The hotel was nice and it was convenient to so many activities, but honestly the staff made the stay.

The location is great, walking distance from major turist points, like the Bean, the Park, the River, so that was great. The hotel itself is amazing, not too fancy, but great to have a vacation. The only negative point in there is that right cross the street there's a fire station where they dispatch from every time. So that's a little bit annoying specially if you're placed in a room that faces the Street. If you're facing the back of the hotel, that's okay, not too disturbing.

Perfect location for us in Chicago. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, millennium station for the south shore trein, and the L station. The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any Hampton. So many options! Employees were friendly and attentive. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Hampton inn was located in a great area. Easy to walk to the bean, museums,navy pier. Note that it is very close to Fire station so lots of siren noise at night. Ear plugs would be helpful. But the great location outweighed the noise.

We really enjoyed the location for what we were in town to do. The only down side was it is next to a fire station. Good breakfast but not a lot of Gluten-free options. There was enough though. The pool was nice. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was friendly and the vallet parking was convenient and not too expensive for downtown.
