The hot tub was under maintenance and was not. Notified until we checked in. Our room had stains all over the couch. We’ve stayed her numerous times any always prior to yesterday had an amazing time this time I was very disappointed.

Excellent 5-star hôtel in the heart of Chicago. Rooms are pristine, service incredible. lobby restaurant was excellent. We used their spa and had a wonderful experience. Their fitness centre is excellent. Great set up for work; good desk setup, even have printer in the room. Will return without hesitation.

Our stay at The Peninsula Chicago was exceptional. The hotel is truly luxurious, and everything was top-notch. The only downside was that the lobby is located on the fourth floor, and only one out of the three elevators from the ground floor to the lobby was operational, which caused some delays. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

I booked the property because it had a great gym and spa. Upon my arrival i found out that the gym was moved to a temporary location and that the.mens spa facilities were closed completely. I was veryz dissapointed as this was the reason i chose to stay there

The first room we checked into was not properly cleaned and the shower water pressure was so slow and did not work properly. Following our complaint, the hotel manager was prompt and responsive and he upgraded us to a beautiful clean suite with lovely views. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back.

Property was classic and nice but worn. One of our towel was torn (i was shocked) and shower head was difficult to operate. Water pressure was low too. Bathroom wall had few cracks But service and staffs were excellent.

Overall a high-quality experience. What we did not like was the digital panel for lighting. It was hard to figure out, and the panel on the bedside table turned on automatically when we just touched the table for any reason... certainly NOT desirable in the middle of the night. It was annoying to not be able to just turn a light on and off with a switch.

Beyond the beauty of the hotel itself, the service couldn’t be better. Everyone was kind, patient and went out of their way for my wife’s birthday celebration. I could go on and on. I wish I knew all their names. Omar in particular is wonderful. Not to mention, it’s located within walking distance of all that downtown has to offer. The rooms are very spacious and so well appointed. It makes you want to move in. Big thanks to all the The Peninsula Chicago!

The Peninsula is a beautiful and elegant hotel. The rooms and very comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant Shanghai Terrace within the hotel is one of my favorite restaurants. However, there was a real technical challenge with the Internet - good connectivity should be standard for a hotel of this category. My room was on the 11th floor and when I needed the Internet for a 3 hour virtual Teams meeting it constantly broke down. Two persons from the hotel tried to help without any success. In the end I had to use my cell phone and go on 5G. Sorry, but the poor connectivity is really not acceptable nowadays.

Fantastic hotel with great staff and service. However due to proximity of hospitals, if you want uninterrupted sleep take ear plugs . Our room on 10th Floor and every night / early morning got woke up by the droning of ambulance sirens, weekends worse. Not the hotels fault but just want to make travellers aware - when I mentioned to reception staff, they clearly aware and admitted the issue. Would I stay again - nope! Purely due to The above

This was the most amazing hotel experience I've had in my life. I planned a surprise engagement for my girlfriend and the hotel staff (Evelyn) went above and beyond to ensure it was a memorable experience. All of the staff was incredible and the property is breath-taking. Kudos to everyone!

Whenever we visit Chicago we always stay at The Peninsula because the service is impeccable. We stay here each year for Northcoast music festival and for my wife’s birthday. The staff is extremely friendly and always looking to help make your stay memorable. Each night when we would get back from the festival they would have a bucket of ice and waters ready. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff.

If you are staying in Chicago - this is the hotel to stay at. The hotel is one of the best. The room was great, the bed was comfortable. The service is one of the best we experienced. Also, the hotel is in the best location in downtown Chicago. Many restaurants and shopping within one block.

This is one of our best hotel experiences as a stay. Particularly impressed with the relaxed yet polished atmosphere of the hotel and engaging friendliness of the staff. We had a poor experience at the flagship restaurant Shanghai Terrace however. Extremely hot and loud.

I loved the hotel. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. Their decoration for thanksgiving and Christmas was stunning. It’s a great luxury hotel however, the staff were not friendly. The room service was not great, they were too slow and we never had enough cups in the room. When I asked for 3 sets of tea of cups, I was asked how many people are staying in the hotel room. I did not like the question as it made me feel like she wanted to ensure I am not asking for more cups. I have stayed in luxury hotels before and I just didn’t feel that they valued me. Also, they charge for teas sachets which I think should be free. The staff downstairs were amazing though.
