Île de Porquerolles: 2 bedrooms, air-conditioned, sea view

There was no map nor instructions on how to get to the place. The maid talked in French so the phone would translate them in English. It took two hours to find it dragging luggage in humid hot weather. Owner mentioned a picture on another site that competes with you. The bedrooms are in an ATTIC. It has NO a/c up there. Being 80 F outside made it impossible to sleep up there (92 degrees) on bad foam pads instead of mattresses and worn out sheets. The spiral stairs to the BRs are too steep to take up your clothes, so we had to use the dining room table. And so steep that I fel coming down and have a swollen knot on my forehead from it. There was no carafe for the coffee. The sofa had a blanket on it in that heat, so I pulled it off. It is sooooo worn out. No amenities, like soap in the shower. It ruined our stay. And it's on the busiest tourist street, and the trees have blocked the view of the harbor. Even the locals could not understand the directions we got, and they had so many mistakes. DO NOT STAY HERE.

This apartment is perfectly adequate for a short stay on the island. The kitchen is well equiped and beds very comfortable. It is perfectly located on the main street so everything is very close. That proximity does come with the noise of a busy area, this was fine with us but others may enjoy a quieter location. Also know that there are 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment and the bedrooms are up a circular stair. Again, this was fine for us but if you are not comfortable with stairs this is not the place for you. Pauline with very efficient and communicative and made the check in process easy. We would recommend a stay here!

Nous venons de passer trois journées magnifiques sur l'île de Porquerolles grâce à Isabelle. Son appartement est idéalement situé: la vue sur le port et la proximité des commerces et services. Un séjour au coeur de la vie du village et à son rythme même pour la pétanque !

Très bien équipé pour les enfants, tout était parfait! L’appartement est très confortable, très bien placé, on ne peut pas rêver mieux. Merci!
