The carpets were terrible. Our feet got dirty just walking on them. The room was so humid that our towels never dried. The back door or the hotel, right by our room, didn’t lock, so it was a little disconcerting to know that anyone could walk in. It was a convenient location, but the soggy feeling of the room was a little off-putting.

The room I had in this hotel needed updated and repaired. Shower head was loose in the wall. Not all lights worked. Window was bad dirty on outside. Parking lot lights were not working. Parking lot was dark. Staff was friendly.

Will not book at this motel again, or any other Wyndnam motel/hotel. Shabby, not up to date. Mych smaller than on your site. Windows were filthy. Vending was barely stocked and only in the lobby. Paint cracking off he walls. Staff was unattendive. My $147 was a waste. This motel needs serious upgrades.

None of the lighting in the parking lot worked. When I let the front desk know, their response was that they knew “some” lights weren’t working. When I reiterated that none of the lights were working the staff at front desk said, “I don’t know why they haven’t fixed that. We have cameras.” I’m not sure how well cameras would capture images in a completely dark parking lot. Another safety concern is that the back entrance latch was taped down so that it would never engage in locking. The door could be opened tub anyone…no key needed. Facilities were not clean and very worn. I will never stay here again, and honestly will not stay at Wyndham facilities after this. The Company should be checking on these smaller properties and holding them to a better standard especially when it comes to safety.

Much nicer than we expected for the price. AC worked great. Very clean and kept up well. Nice lobby. Parking excellent/close. Front desk gentleman was very friendly, we needed to come back and heat up leftovers after checking out. Right across from two other hotels, gas, restaurants.

I slept only 2 hours till the bed bugs started eating me alive. I came down to ask from desk (amazing guy) to come and check room 218, we found more than 5 big bed bugs. Now I will struggle the next 5 days with the reaction of my body to the bugs bite. Very sad. I travel a lot as a chaplain for the seventh day adventist church and is very hard to miss a night of sleep.

Rubber mat in shower area needs to be thrown out, it is black with mold & mildew. Coffee trays won\'t fit coffee maker. Reported it to front desk who told me they would replace it. He also blamed a " guest" who probably swapped out the coffee maker, yea right. Came back in evening for 2nd night stay same old coffee maker. Also coffee maker needs to be relocated, it is so high you can\'t see what you\'re doing when pouring water into it plus if you spill the water it ends up on the microwave below it. Not a safe situation. I won\'t be back.

Room had many sloppy repairs, and it was very humid and damp. Weird smell right when I walked in that stayed even after the fan ran constantly. Could tell no one vacuumed along the corners of the room. Something was splattered along the wall and not cleaned. The mattress pad was ripping, and the duvet and curtains had stains. Bedding was clean, but room overall was not comfortable.

About as bare bones as you can get, but clean and perfectly fine for a night on the road, especially if you’re traveling solo. The a/c worked well. Breakfast was adequate, but there are also a few fast food places nearby if you need something more substantial. Only complaints: the water pressure was very low and there were some odd stains on the window bench seat.

Definitely an older building, but the room was fine. No fridge or microwave, but comfortable bed. Very(!) small room, but generally good for one night passing thru. The woman who checked me in was very welcoming and happy to let fine me use the microwave in the breakfast area. Breakfast was mostly carbs (breads, waffles), some fruit, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Minus one star for housekeeping knocking an hour before checkout to ask when I would be checking out. (I had already rushed out of the shower when the phone rang; I missed the call but assume it was the same question.) I love the noon checkout time, and I for sure will be there until 11:59 every time!

The front desk staff was so nice and accommodating! We checked in at 2am and the staff member was very friendly. He even noticed that we had trouble with our key as he saw us on the cameras and before I could even go back downstairs, he was running down the hall with a new key for us. We needed a late checkout and the staff member the following day was very accommodating and helped us out with no extra charge. We loved our stay here and would stay here again!

Hotel was difficult to find due to low signage. Front desk staff member made a key to my room and provided it to another guest. I was awaken at 2226 hours by an intruder who had access to my room. This has NEVER happened to me in my lifetime!! Staff blamed it on computer error. If my family had been with me, there may have been a tragic outcome as their safety would have come first. Totally unacceptable for this to have happened, and I will NEVER use another Wyndham property unless absolute last option!!

Room was fine and night time staff was great at check in. The morning staff was terrible. When I first came down she was taking a video call and ignoring the many people in the breakfast area. When we came down later all the tables in the breakfast area were dirty and now she was on the phone again. It was clear that both of the calls where personal calls since she was not talking English.

Checkin took us at least 30 minutes. The gal working the front desk was very nice, BUT we couldn’t get into our first room despite trying 4 different keys 2 different times. The second room they tried to put us in we also couldn’t get into because someone was already in it. We were able to get into the 3rd room they wanted to try, however when I got into the room it appeared that someone had been laying in one of the beds and there was a condom in the toilet. Finally, they tried a 4th room and we were able to stay in that one. We had a hard time feeling comfortable in this hotel given that whole experience. And in the room we stayed in, it smelled like someone had been smoking in there. They must not have recorded what room we actually stayed in, because we got a call later that day saying we left personal items in our room - it must have been one of the rooms they tried to put us in that already had people in it. We will definitely not be staying here again, and more than likely will not stay at a hotel from this chain either.

Had to change rooms because tv wouldn’t work and no one knew how to fix it. We were there two nights and the towels were never replenished. Toilet paper holder way across the room & hard to reach. It appears that they are generally not keeping the rooms up very well. Paid more to stay in a “nicer” place, but it wasn’t any better than the cheaper motels.

Bearing in mind that this is a microtel, designed to be basic and economical, this is a good place to stay. The room had a little wear but nothing serious. It was clean and everything was in good working order. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is easy off the interstate with good food/gas options and its a quick shot to downtown and the lake. Stayed one night in town for a show at the Surf, perfect for that type of trip where you just need a place to sleep and shower.

We were able to book a room last minute when we were unable to get in our room at the Lakeside Inn. The staff at Microtel were very accommodating and the room was lovely. Breakfast was mostly carbs which we don't eat but they are easy, I suppose.
