Travelodge by Wyndham Grand Falls

Parking was great. Clean room.

The motel is a dump, the towels and face cloths were grey, there were stains on the chair and matching foot stool, the bedding was also grey and the pillows were horrible. The light in the bathroom flickered and there are only two small lights beside the beds to light up the entire room. Find another place to stay

Room was very nice and clean.

I would like to reserve the right adjust this comment if necessary; But we stayed 2 nights this past weekend for a local hockey tournament in the motel . It was fairly updated and certainly adequate for the most part . however night 2 was a bit frustrating. We discovered that the hot water wasnt working for showers ( night 1 it was), and when we went to call the front desk we discovered that the phones werent operating either ( no dial tone etc) . We assumed that the hot water tank was all used up from perhaps other guests also using the hot water for ahowers after hockey- so we set our alarms for 0600 to have a shower before leaving. Never did get a shower :( . When we told the front desk during check out , he went to the back room and appeared to check the breaker? But then returned , said hes not sure what happened - asked if we had running water at all , but never really attempted to resolve the dilemma with us. Kind of frustrating for what was otherwise a comfortable stay.
