Be warned! The "restaurant" is actually a pub. The food was really good, but it was extremely loud. Also, they supply earplugs in the rooms. I dont know if the rooms are above a disco or if it\'s an event space, but it\'s THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! all night long.

Staff was great, very helpful and attentive. Room was spacious and bed very comfy. Only complaint would be that it's quite noisy. Windows sit at the back where all services (deliveries, rubbish collection) happen, so very early from 0600 there was noise, the road is also quite busy. The road entry to the property could also use some work as there are massive potholes. Meal options at the restaurant were great.

For me this was an ideal hotel to stay in. I don't need all the facilities of a 4 or 5 star. It's small and friendly and all the staff made me feel very welcome. There is excellent parking and the food in the Bar/restaurant is delicious. The hotel is located in a nice area and its quite safe to walk about. There is a little shop across the road as well.

Nice food in the restaurant, plenty of free parking, convenience store across the road and, the main reason I stayed here, electric car charging (for a fee). Great waking up to 100% battery.

Surprisingly excellent. Staff are very very good and the service spot on. Breakfast included, very nice, great choice of breakfast. A couple of weddings going on when we were there, so expect a bit of music, loud, but no worries.

A disaster from start to finish. Arrived at 3 o’clock check-in time to be told there was a problem with the room. It later turned out that the room had not been serviced from the previous occupants. I wasn’t told how to get to my room, breakfast time, Wi-Fi passcode etc, just handed my room key. I pointed out the bedlinen had not been changed from the previous occupants to a guy who wasn’t sure whether he was the manager or not, and he assured me that the sheets were clean when they blatantly weren’t. No towels, bin not emptied. My room was above the kitchen/cellar fans which ground and vibrated right through the night. My room was right next to the function room and there was a 60th birthday party going on until 1 o’clock in the morning. I got no sleep whatsoever. I went downstairs at around 11 o’clock to ask a guy who told me he was the restaurant manager but wasn’t what time it would be finished, he said he would speak to the disco guy and ask him to turn down the music, if anything it got even louder. I came down for breakfast at 8 o’clock, there was nobody around apart from the housekeeper. I asked for a full refund, and was given one.

Stayed here for the night to catch a flight out of Glasgow airport. Room was big and clean. Restaurant downstairs had surprisingly great food. Overall would recommend. Not many bus options unless you already have a car or call taxi going into Glasgow city center.

I stayed for one night, due to the hotel’s convenient location and competitive pricing, ideal for a short visit while seeing a friend. Check-in was seamless, and the room was clean, well-sized, and perfectly suited to my needs. The restaurant was modern, spotless, and tastefully decorated. I began with the Gambas Pil Pil [succulent king prawns sautéed in garlic, chilli, and olive oil, served with toasted ciabatta]. For the main, I chose the Mill and Brae Stack [ Grilled chicken breast layered with haggis, Stornoway black pudding, and bacon, honey-roasted vegetables and mash topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce], though I opted for fries instead of the mash. While I couldn’t confirm whether the black pudding was from Charles Macleod or Macleod & Macleod, it was delicious either way with both courses exceeding expectations and i would highly recommend. Should I find myself in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to return, whether for another overnight stay or simply to enjoy another meal. A special mention goes to Jamie & Megan, who looked after me on Wednesday evening. Their friendly, can-do attitude and genuine smiles made a lasting impression. Even when a large party arrived close to closing time, their professionalism and positivity never wavered. I spoke with Jamie again at checkout the next morning, and he was still cheerful despite the late night. Staff like Jamie and Megan are the heartbeat of any great hospitality experience, keep up the fantastic work.

An enjoyable stay. The staff were lovely and looked after us very well. The evening meal was very good, well cooked and very tasty. The room was spacious but could have been cleaner, although the initial impression was clean there was a significant amount of dust on the dedo rail in the bedroom and the towel radiator in the bathroom. The shampoo bottles appeared to have been opened and possibly refilled, as there was residual congealed shampoo around the neck of the bottles. Overall good value for the money paid.

The room was dirty and the window almost fell off when I tried to open it. It was difficult to get to the room - a series of stairs and narrow hallway with folded up tables would impede on in case of a fire or other emergency need to evacuate. Not safe. Bed was far too soft and uncomfortable. We ended up moving to a different hotel. The staff were understanding and did issue a full refund, which was appreciated!

There's was an extraction system on all night. Asked night porter to turn off at 11.30 pm but came back on all night in fact 2 extractors on all night. Spoilers a good romm and night. Would not stay again.

The property is designed really well and was what I anticipated from the photos. The front desk staff for check in were friendly and honest about the issues with it being unbearably hot in the room. They placed a fan inside, but given the abnormally warm outside conditions, it didn’t help. We appreciated the effort but it made it a bit challenging to sleep.

A relatively pleasant stay but with a few niggles. The windows in room 5 don't close properly. The bin lorries come at 5am on Fridays and park right outside the window. Food issues were resolved rapidly and in a friendly manner by staff. Breakfast not starting till 8 is evidence that this is not a business hotel. All that said, I would happily stay again

While I couldn’t confirm whether the black pudding was from Charles Macleod or Macleod & Macleod, it was delicious either way with both courses exceeding expectations and i would highly recommend. Should I find myself in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to return, whether for another overnight stay or simply to enjoy another meal. A special mention goes to Jamie & Megan, who looked after me on Wednesday evening. Their friendly, can-do attitude and genuine smiles made a lasting impression. Even when a large party arrived close to closing time, their professionalism and positivity never wavered. I spoke with Jamie again at checkout the next morning, and he was still cheerful despite the late night. Staff like Jamie and Megan are the heartbeat of any great hospitality experience, keep up the fantastic work.

Fantastic stay with very helpful and welcoming staff. We stayed on NYE and the staff were great. Managed to squeeze us in for dinner last minute and served us a lovely breakfast in the morning . We are visiting family in the area so will certainly stay again!

Staff was great, very helpful and attentive. Room was spacious and bed very comfy. Only complaint would be that it's quite noisy. Windows sit at the back where all services (deliveries, rubbish collection) happen, so very early from 0600 there was noise, the road is also quite busy. The road entry to the property could also use some work as there are massive potholes. Meal options at the restaurant were great.

For me this was an ideal hotel to stay in. I don't need all the facilities of a 4 or 5 star. It's small and friendly and all the staff made me feel very welcome. There is excellent parking and the food in the Bar/restaurant is delicious. The hotel is located in a nice area and its quite safe to walk about. There is a little shop across the road as well.

Stayed here for the night to catch a flight out of Glasgow airport. Room was big and clean. Restaurant downstairs had surprisingly great food. Overall would recommend. Not many bus options unless you already have a car or call taxi going into Glasgow city center.

Stayed before a few times, handy during week for appointments in South side of Glasgow and Lanarkshire. Nice rooms with quality beds, seating and tables for any work having to be carried out, good shower. Dining experience good, menu basic but enough and plentiful helpings( 2 course more than enough) not a lot of healthy options available would be a minor gripe

Staff were very helpful, room was clean, food looks amazing, only downside is it is a bit away from the Airport and the Tiwn Centre of Paisley, but is well connected by bus

A relatively pleasant stay but with a few niggles. The windows in room 5 don't close properly. The bin lorries come at 5am on Fridays and park right outside the window. Food issues were resolved rapidly and in a friendly manner by staff. Breakfast not starting till 8 is evidence that this is not a business hotel. All that said, I would happily stay again

Be warned! The "restaurant" is actually a pub. The food was really good, but it was extremely loud. Also, they supply earplugs in the rooms. I dont know if the rooms are above a disco or if it\'s an event space, but it\'s THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! all night long.

When we arrived, we were surprised to discover that this was not really a traditional hotel, but rather an event venue that hosts weddings, conferences, and other events. It seems that accommodation is not the main focus of the business, and unfortunately, the condition of the room reflected this. There are only six guest rooms, located on the floor above the event spaces and the restaurant/bar. As soon as we arrived on our floor, we noticed that the hallway carpet was coming loose in several places. Inside the room, we found hair from a previous guest on the floor, as well as rust and pink mold on the showerhead, which made us question the quality of the cleaning. The complimentary toiletries provided in the bathroom were also small travel-size bottles that had clearly been previously used by other guests, rather than new, sealed products. The wallpaper was peeling in several places, and we could actually hear it coming loose whenever we moved around in the bed. Our room was located at the back of the building, near the waste container, and we could hear staff emptying garbage into it, including what sounded like bags filled with glass bottles, which was not very pleasant. Finally, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. As a result, we had a very short and far from restful night’s sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay staff so friendly and helpful. Parking available, public transport right side outside . Room nice clean . Maybe a little further away from Glasgow then I thought but was no problem getting there with the public transport and the help of the staff. Lovely place to stay
