The place needs to be updated.

For the price this location was a joke. Upkeep was mediocre at best, parking was awful and although I could be wrong on this it appeared that people were sleeping in their cars

To start, we have a young toddler and booked a room that has the bed in its own room. Having a seating area and TV separate from where we could put the baby to sleep was the selling point. The room looked nothing like the photos. There was no couch to sit on but there was (maybe?) a murphy bed that I was too uncomfortable to open because I was worried about what would fall out. The old microwave was on top of an old mini fridge that was sitting on a water-damaged shelf which is concerning considering these are electrical. The room hadn't been vacuumed. Then, we had no towels aside from 2 hand towels. The window in the bathroom was difficult/next to impossible to open and there is no fan. Worst of all, the no-smoking room reeked of smoke. Customer Service: the gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very nice and friendly. The woman that answered to front desk phone on Saturday night, however, needs some additional training. After calling because I could see a truck below us outside our window and the sound of power tools going I was told no one was there. When I confirmed I could see them I was told “oh I thought they left.” After checking in we got a call back letting us know that they would be done power washing at 9PM on a Saturday night. Baby aside, who power washes at a place you pay to sleep so late at night?! And spoiler alert, they were not done by 9PM.

If you arrive in evening you have to park at the next business’s lot and then remove your vehicle by 10am. Pictures/description show an included breakfast with waffles and breakfast meat. Breakfast was actually small corn muffin and coffee/juice.

I had cockroaches in my bathroom and little flies in the shower. They are under construction as well and taking up parking space . Next door had a dog barking so knowing there’s a dog in the room as well is already telling me it’s not clean.

Half of the property is being remodeled. Unfortunately we were in the building that hadn't been. The bathroom had cracks in the walls with mold growing. As long as the bathroom door was shut the smell didn't bother us. The bed seemed brand new and was very comfortable.

For the price, this was a decent room. The room itself was clean. It could use some upgrades in the bathroom. The negative thing was the parking. When we got back at night the lot was full and had to park behind the motel. It’s not the best area so I was definitely nervous and checking on my vehicle throughout the night.

The room was filthy. Literal profanity, written on the walls in multiple places. There was mold in the shower... and the window in the bathroom was broken.

The walls are paper thin. You hear everything from the other rooms. You hear them talk, snore, and everything else. You also hear everything from the outside, especially the back alley. The neighborhood is questionable and there were always people hanging out there and making so much noise. The floor is dirty, the curtains are dirty, bed skirts are disgusting. I had to go out and get cleaning supplies and cleaned the room myself. I do not recommend this place.

Not a bad property you can tell the staff does care. There are some maintenance issues in the rooms and need to wear socks as the carpets are dirty.

The staff is professional, friendly, and respectful-they are the best part of this place. However the rooms are worn, there were cockroaches that came out of the cracks along the toilet/floor and a smell from the drain. The walls are stained and need a fresh coat of paint. There are also stains all over the carpeted floor. The bed sheets were mostly clean(except first day there was a stain on the down comforter ) and the bed was comfortable. The area is relatively safe, however you do need a vehicle to move about as there is not many useful places for travelers within walking radius.

Room was terrible, had an off smell curtains had holes everywhere, carpet was very nasty and stained. There was no parking.

I liked it being close enough to Oakland and the Santa Clara University campus. I didn't like that the TV was Netflix and Antenna. That meant I couldn't get the sports channels. It was mostly news and movie channels available to watch. So, I did a lot of reading. The bed was satisfactory along with the amenities. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a decent hotel. A pleasant location to stay at for a few nights.

The staff is nice, but the condition of the hotel room is not good, the furniture is old, and the appliances such as micro wave, fridge, etc are in poor condition.

The place was terrible, wallpaper peeling off in multiple places, terrible cover ups, the bathroom door had been kicked in broken and mismatched floor tile, a hole in the floor was covered up by the carpet. The beds were basically just box springs. The bathtub didn’t drain properly, and the walls were rotted by the bathtub.

Its a small facility, yes under extensive construction, and very noisy. Walls are very thin. Horrible weak parenting experience from upstairs. Non stop running and no phone in room to call front desk. For my roommate smoking accommodation, area in front of building was designated. Atleast 10 old mattresses, sheetrock and several different piles of boards on floor area blocking ashtrays. An accident waiting to happen. When i asked about that at checkin, Miss Rude! Just pointed out to area without saying a word. The owner based on other reviews I've read, really doesn't care about her behavior. (She needs to realize its not that big a deal as a job. Minimum pay at best! Not a 5 star!!!) She is still there. Worst checkin experience Ive ever had, and I travel quite abit. Dirty carpets, bathroom ceiling ready to collapse, no locked bathroom window, faucets loose. No closet. Nobs on wall with hangers on them. Never again!

The tv didn't work properly. The audio did not sync with the visual so audio was delayed with people speaking in tv programs. Also, the labels of the channels on screen did not match the channel. The on-screen label would say NBC but the channel was actually on Fox News. It was difficult to use the tv with these issues. In the room next door, people were fighting all night long. It was loud and difficult to sleep. I was woken to doors slamming and people yelling from 1am-4am.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was okay. The hotel was old, so it did not have any updated electronic connections for phones nor computers. One outlet by the bed and one in the bathroom. There were beetle-like in the bathroom. The tub/shower would not drain, and had to take a showere standing in dirty water. When water was shut off, it took almost an hour for the tub to drain. Hours for breakfast started at 6:30, but I was told 6:00. Missed breakfast, so I was unable to comment. Briefly, hotel was not worth the over $200 I had to spend just to stay the night and shower. I travel a lot on business, and this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in for the money that is being charged.

Fridge didn’t work. Freezer didn’t freeze 12 oz water that was in there for 4 days. Coffee maker broken. Won’t be back.

The shower knobs are all in the wrong places, the hot water knob was leaking more water out then coming out of the shower. The lights would flicker when the maid next door used the vacuum. Lost power. Walls are so thin you hear everything.

Good location, great value for money, clean and quiet. The room has everything you need: good wifi, comfortable bed, microwave oven, good functioning fridge and even the old-fashioned ironing board. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Check-in was a nightmare. We were affronted by a woman who had been evicted. She was upset and venting loudly about her situation. The check-in person took her time checking us in. She finally gave us our key cards. After getting to our room we realized she put the woman in the room next to us. The woman continued to loudly vent her concerns to friends who came to see her. She was so disruptive and went on until 9:30 p.m. It was a nightmare. The breakfast was not great. I would not recommend this inn to anyone.

I like how straight forward the staff was, everyone knew how to help and provide the assistance I needed

I have rented previously. In which each day they take a deposit by running my card , it should be pre auth and release back to me when I check out .and they inspect the room ? When they run my card it takes them 5 days to return funds ? Also , if there is an existing transaction . They want to charge an additional deposit . I was previously a motel manager and they don’t need to do that ? Also , not blame it on 3rd party billing . By the way .. week end clerks are disrespectful treat like a transient ? I offered to extend my visit , but they only concerned about running deposits daily , not returning deposits .

The stay was wonderful. Staff even went out of way to show us how to use the show, was type haven’t seen before.

Overall average experience. Affordable and quite comfortable. Antiquated facilities that needs to be updated. Property condition needs a refresh based on other hotels/motels/inns nearby. Great location. Accessible to a lot of things.

I like using this Quality Inn because it has a great low price, it is completely adequate. It includes free breakfast and is a convenient location to access the entire South Bay area.

It was clean…good for the level of hotel that it is…with no noxious smell inside the room. Ample parking. Unobtrusive. Enough services going for it to get a good night’s sleep near Silicon Valley.

Was a decent place to stay room was clean and comfortable, just a little seedy, definitely has long stays there. I think most of the issues came from the apartment complex Nextdoor. Always heard yelling and police over there a few times. Room was clean, staff were nice, for the price overall good stay.

The room was old, but clean and decent enough for stay. The breakfast was much better than other similarly priced hotels/inns in the area.

Maintenance is kept up, clean parking area, although a bit noisy at night and early morning. The complete breakfast is a major advantage to stay here.

It was an okay experience. Breakfast was not up to Quality Inn standards. The room was pretty old, carpets didn’t seemed properly vacuumed.

Ok Location. Owners are not giving staff funds to purchase new mattresses, pillows. Needs to be renovated . Breakfast food quality poor. Must change toilet seats. Surprised is a Quality Hotel.
