This hotel is quite the curiousity - it could be easily a four star hotel, but so many simple improvements are necessary: - no hooks in the entire sauna area; the shampoos just stand on the floor - this spa area could be beautiful, but it lacks attention and detail - part of the gym equipment is broken - the rooms need serious renovation; mine had missing carpet and there was a wooden box on the floor to stop the window from opening - the breakfast was also improveable, but that was mainly due to the fact that the regular breakfast room was not available due to a pipe that burst On the pro side: - awesome location - very friendly reception!

The parking garage in the basement is unusable unless you have a tiny tiny car. Completely unacceptable. The fitness center has the latest equipment and the sauna area is new, clean and magnificent.

My second stay in Hotel Königshof. I really like this hotel because of its location close to the train station. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation with decent spa and fitness area. The beds in our room were not very comfortable because of the mattresses, otherwise the room was very clean. I like the spa area with saunas, steam bath and relaxation room. The hotel gym is decently equipped with lockers and changing room available. Quality of the breakfast is very good. The only thing lacking for me personally is coffee at the bar which is below par. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Ich fand die Anlage sehr schön und sauber. Das Zimmer war wie auf den Bildern. Der Saunabereich war sehr schön, modern und sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte auch viel Auswahl. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Gute Erreichbarkeit von Bahnhof und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Für wärmere Tage nicht empfehlenswert. Zimmer heizen sich schnell auf und können nicht runtergekühlt werden. Sehr enge Parkplätze in der kleinen Tiefgarage.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Von dort aus ist man schnell in der Innenstadt. Der Bahnhof ist direkt vor der Tür und in zwei Minuten zu erreichen. Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem tollen Spa und Fitnessbereicht. Die Tiefgarage ist furchtbar eng und nicht gerade für Autos der SUV-Fraktion geeignet. Im übrigen finde ich 10 € pro Tag bei dem Zimmerpreis etwas zu hoch gegriffen. Besser am Postparkplatz gegenüber einen Wochenparkplatz für 36 € ordern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein bis zwei Leute mehr wären angebracht, da die Bedienung in der Bar sich auch noch um das Restaurant kümmern muss und daher selten in der Bar anwesend ist um sich um die dortigen Gäste zu kümmern. Einen Zimmersafe sucht man vergeblich genauso wie eine Mini-Bar.

Room was tiny with Zero air conditioning. It was so hot. The front desk workers were short and not very kind. The gym was amazing and the sauna was beautiful. The king bed is two twins chives together but they scoot around in the floor. The cleanliness was amazing. Thw water and to run for 10 minutes in order for it to get hot. And the black out curtains didn't reach the entire window. It's a great location though. I would not choose to stay here again because of the noise from room to room and how hot it was without air conditioning. And the weather was even cool! I can't imagine staying there when it's hot.

The main areas of the hotel have had a renovation the rooms have not. The hotel was full the night we checked in and we had to wait in a line backed up all the way to the doors. 20 minutes later we were checked in and told a of surprise city tax (3€ per person per night) not included in our rate. Apparently it provides access to city promotions via a card that was not given to us. Our twin room was not made up as a double bed. The mattresses need to be replaced they had two options the pit or the hill either way you were uncomfortable and at risk of rolling of the bed in your sleep. The pillows were comically flat. Like your head felt lower than your body flat. We requested extra pillows after the first night. There were bleach stains on the carpet. Shower head was installed on the wrong side of the shower so using tge shower resulted in flooding the bathroom. For the price point I was disappointed in the quality of the rooms and lack of customer service from the front desk. We had to request the city card on day two. Luggage storage is just the corner of the lobby no security at all. Breakfast was fine. My suggestion- stay somewhere else.

Das gesamte Hotel war sehr sauber. Das Personal war freundlich, aber nicht höflich, wie ich es für ein einen Aufenthalt in dem Preisbereich für angemessen halte. Es gibt eine große Auswahl beim Frühstück, allerdings Aufbackbrötchen und mittelmäßigen Kaffee. Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind leider sehr schlecht. Vor dem Hotel sind ca. 10 Parkplätze vorhanden, auf denen allerdings nur für 2h geparkt werden darf. Auch die hoteleigene Tiefgarage (10€ pro Nacht) ist nicht für höhere Fahrzeuge ausgelegt. Die Bar hingegen war sehr gut (obwohl teilweise bereits um 22 Uhr geschlossen bei Öffnungszeiten bis 24 Uhr. Alles in allem ist das Hotel völlig in Ordnung. Wenn man allerdings nur eine Bleibe zur Übernachtung sucht, ist das Hotel zu teuer.

We arrived a bit early at the hotel. Upon approaching an empty reception, a lady came after a little while. Without any words being spoken she pointed to a sign saying that check-in starts at 3 pm. And she even moved the sign a little so I could see it better(?) Then after we talked, indeed check-in starts at 3 pm..nothing to be done. That is fair enough..but the welcome is not warm. I have also stayed in a few hotels in Germany this summer, and have been able to check in ahead of time even if a bit early. But this hotel doesn’t offer such a service..doesn’t bother to check even. We of course got one of the old rooms, room itself is big enough, wifi works well. But the room is dated. Lamps with a lot of dust and holes in them. Bathroom basic but ok. The bed pillow is not good..small. No air-condition in the room..which is a problem during a summer visit. Also no air-condition in the breakfast area, they do though play “loud” music..if that is something u like. Breakfast spread is ok with some hot dishes. Unfortunately the juices was also hot. Expensive hotel that doesn’t warrant the high price..at least not in summer months.

Everything was great - but no AC and the room was hot. Otherwise, the breakfast (included) had a variety of options (even gravlax one day!) for anyone - sweet vs. savory, cereals vs. bread, yogurt, cheese, deli meats, pastries. And great coffees! The room was a nice size, with a fully functional bathroom. Great view on the back (not the street) over a mountain. Truly a great hotel!

The staff make the difference! The staff her were not inviting or pleasant. The room was very outdated and the pillows were FLAT! The common areas seem updated but the rooms were not at all! Our room had a balcony door that lead to a two story drop! It was sealed shut by a wooden block screwed to the floor to prevent it from opening.

Our room had a balcony door that lead to a two story drop! It was sealed shut by a wooden block screwed to the floor to prevent it from opening.

This property was not worth the price you pay. The lobby, bar and breakfast room were fairly updated but the rooms were very old, came with no amenities (no robes, fridge, etc) and the beds/pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The only positive is that it’s close to the train station, the parking/pet fees were low, and breakfast was included.

We arrived a bit early at the hotel. Upon approaching an empty reception, a lady came after a little while. Without any words being spoken she pointed to a sign saying that check-in starts at 3 pm. Room was tiny with Zero air conditioning. It was so hot. The front desk workers were short and not very kind. The gym was amazing and the sauna was beautiful. The king bed is two twins chives together but they scoot around in the floor. The cleanliness was amazing. Thw water and to run for 10 minutes in order for it to get hot. And the black out curtains didn't reach the entire window. It's a great location though. I would not choose to stay here again because of the noise from room to room and how hot it was without air conditioning. And the weather was even cool! I can't imagine staying there when it's hot.

Very nice hotel with friendly front desk clerk. My only complaint was that my pillow was very flat and uncomfortable. The hotel is in a very nice area with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic!

We were ask to check-in/fill out before arrival “in order to provide you with a quick and convenient check-in experience” even we give them lots of private info the young very unfriendly guy at reception still want me to fill out again …of course I refuse and told him look your PC and check …we try to check-in just after 5pm it seem it took 55 minutes to get a very BAD noisy room (even I had sent mail and ask for quiet room) he told us we can only get a room with 2 separate bed and end of hallway if we pay 20eur/30 cad per nt extra …we had already paid 240 cad already too much. Naturally we didn’t accept. Next morning We enjoy a nice breakfast (Lady there was very friendly and helpful) talk to Manager …after long VERY UNFRIENDLY talk to me he finally agrees that they NEVER responds to me so we were FINALLY given a better room – end of hallway – separate beds and nice view to river sound. Garmish Partenkirchen is very nice (we spend 4nt total here) with lots of possibles but recommend you choose another hotel option.

Das Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Von dort aus ist man schnell in der Innenstadt. Der Bahnhof ist direkt vor der Tür und in zwei Minuten zu erreichen. Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Hotel mit einem tollen Spa und Fitnessbereicht. Die Tiefgarage ist furchtbar eng und nicht gerade für Autos der SUV-Fraktion geeignet. Im übrigen finde ich 10 € pro Tag bei dem Zimmerpreis etwas zu hoch gegriffen. Besser am Postparkplatz gegenüber einen Wochenparkplatz für 36 € ordern. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein bis zwei Leute mehr wären angebracht, da die Bedienung in der Bar sich auch noch um das Restaurant kümmern muss und daher selten in der Bar anwesend ist um sich um die dortigen Gäste zu kümmern. Einen Zimmersafe sucht man vergeblich genauso wie eine Mini-Bar.

My second stay in Hotel Königshof. I really like this hotel because of its location close to the train station. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation with decent spa and fitness area. The beds in our room were not very comfortable because of the mattresses, otherwise the room was very clean. I like the spa area with saunas, steam bath and relaxation room. The hotel gym is decently equipped with lockers and changing room available. Quality of the breakfast is very good. The only thing lacking for me personally is coffee at the bar which is below par. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

Positiv: Der Wellness und Fitness Bereich waren sehr schön. Bademantel und Saunatücher gab es ebenfalls. Die Lage direkt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs war ebenfalls positiv Negativ: Das Frühstück entsprach nicht dem Standard. Es fehlten Grundlagen wie Mineralwasser oder Orangensaft. Die Tische waren nicht mit Besteck oder Servietten eingedeckt. Das Personal wirkte ebenfalls nicht seriös. Der Mitarbeiter aus der Küche kam in Jeans und Hoodie ans Buffet um Essen nachzulegen. Die Zimmer selbst entsprachen nicht dem sonstigen Erscheinungsbild und waren sehr abgenutzt. Der Zimmerteppich war nicht vollständig bist zum Fenster verlegt, was sehr baufällig wirkte. Außerdem hatte am ersten Tag der Föhn einen Kurzschluss und fing schon rot zu glühen an. Insgesamt kein schöner Aufenthalt. As an american traveler staying for a business conference a lot of things were different and you just need to adjust. The tub/shower is different and so is the toilet. No AC just heat so remember to open the window to cool the room. No king beds just two twins put together. No blankets just duveas…. just get used to those things and the breakfast is incredible!!!
