Hotellet under total renovering. En stor byggeplads. Burde være lukket for gæster. Morgenmad skulle indtages på andet hotel. Elevator var konstant optaget af håndværkere. Man kørte med byggematerialer og inventar i elevator, så gæster måtte vente meget længe på elevator eller stå klemt op i et hjørne. Meget støvet på gange. Byggestøj fra kl. 7 om morgenen. Vi burde have refunderet betalingen eller forinden fået oplyst, at hotellet var under renovering, så vi kunne booke et andet hotel. Meget træls oplevelse.

Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum HBF, sehr praktisch mit vielen Nahverkehrsanbindungen. Hotel sehr schön, Frühstück entsprechend! Leider sind wir ohne Vorwarnung in eine Baustelle geraten. Etage 5 war voll im Umbau!stress. Wenn alles chic kommen wir gern wieder.

Dejligt hotel med særdeles god placering i Hamborg centrum. Vi fik anvist parkering i nærheden til 12 Euro/døgn (meget billigt i en storby). Venligt personale og udmærket morgenmad, prisen taget i betragtning. Vi kommer gerne på Hotel Kronprinz igen.

Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Einen Kritikpunkt gibt es aber, in der Beschreibung ist die Rede von 9 Euro/Tag Parkgebühren, das Parkhaus, zu dem ich vom Hotel geschickt wurde, kostet aber 20 Euro/Tag :(

Hotellet var under renovation hvilket betød masser af uro alle mulige byggematerialer og byggeaffald på gangene ligeledes en reception der var ved at blive revet ned. Fjernsynet virkede ikke Personalet i receptionen var ikke specielt hjælpsomme i den givne situation. Elevatoren var ombygget til en arbejdselevator. Har skrevet til hotellet om dette ophold men ikke fået svar endnu Morgenmaden var ok Lidt kompensation havde været på sin plads

Zimmer sauber. Das Bad ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Schimmel in der Dusche und diese ist sehr abgenutzt. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

Bit dirty and old, no power outlets anywhere and the room was tiny. My room door hung in the frame with a huge gap so I could hear everything in the hallway. Unprofessional cleaning staff entering rooms despite DND sign hung up. Breakfast was ok and had vegetarian/vegan options. Location seems alright and secure and very close to Hauptbahnhof

Great location for public transport and walkable to many attractions. Rooms are a bit dated, but immaculately clean with a good shower. Great for a short city break or pre-cruise stay. Lack of air conditioning might be a problem in very hot weather, but our room was very airy with high ceiling and huge opening windows with a balcony. Good breakfast buffet.

We stayed 1 night before catching a morning flight fro Hamburg airport. Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the platform for airport train departures. Literally across the street from the the station. Super convenient. Will definitely use this hotel again. The hotel building sèms to be quite old and decor in rooms is perhaps a little outdated but clean and in good condition. There was plenty of space and good hanging area. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom seemed quite new and spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked both road and station but very very little noise came into the room when the windows were closed. The hotel was very clean and pleasantly warm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast started at 6 30 am so suited us as we had to leave atc7 15 am. Breakfast was excellent ' continental style 'with plenty of options. Breakfast room was blissfully quiet. This hotel is also very well placed for exploring the city. I felt this hotel gave excellent value for money.

The property was so convenient - right across from the train station. The breakfast room was very pleasant and spacious and the breakfast was fresh with a nice assortment. The hotel and room was clean. The room where we stayed was in desperate need of a paint job as it had many marks on the walls and made the room appear unclean.

Old building but super clean needs some updates like the carpet has to go as it leaves some smells as well as the toilet. Breakfast was great and staff were nice and friendly. I’ll still choose this hotel when I get back to Hamburg.

Die Dusche und das Fenster hat Schimmel in größerem Umfang. Das WC scheint undicht, da wir am Morgen plötzlich Wasserspuren am Boden hatten. In Summe sind die sanitären Einrichtungen im Zimmer 203 schlichtweg katastrophal!!!

O Hotel é em frente a estação de trem e isso gerava bastante barulho. Entretatnto, a facilidadde para quem irá utilizar o transporte de trem é uma opção a considerar. Não tem ar-condiconado e em julho estava muito calor. O café da manhã era razoável. Sem muita variedades. Um café básico bem feito. Preço razoável.

Location is perfect if travelling from the Central train station; easy walking to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Property itself is very old and in dire need of renovations. Didn’t even feel comfortable to step into the shower. We were on the 1 floor and looking out the window was just looking up into walls and low roof tops. Felt like a prison.

Spacious family room, good breakfast, decor slightly dated but quite charming, nice high ceilings etc. The very convenient location opposite the station was also VERY noisy, especially at the front. The double glazing was surprisingly effective at blocking out most of the noise, but with the windows shut it was very hot and there was no air conditioning.

I stayed late August, and maximum temperature was 22-25degC, except one day (29degC). The room was not equipped with air conditioner, but no problem. Not gorgeous, but it's comfortable to stay this hotel. There are not large but enough space, shower booth, desk, bed, closet, middle size TV, etc. Continental breakfast: bread, ham, cheese, boiled egg, tomato, cucumber, cereals, coffee, etc. It is located in front of Hamburg hauptbahnhof, where you can find a supermarket, grocery shops, and food shops. It's convenient.

Sehr gute Lage gegenüber dem Hbf. Leider war das Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Frühstück ist einfach und wenig abwechslungsreich. In den Zimmern weder Klimaanlage noch Ventilator. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Aussicht bei EZ mit Queensize-Bett leider nur zum Wirtschafts-Hinterhof.

A decent option for an inexpensive room with the main feature being the location directly across the street from the Hamburg HFB. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom had very new fixtures. The room was extremely small without room for even a luggage rack (none was provided). To sit on the toilet and lean forward a person will risk banging his sternum against the sink. The bed was comfortable. There was a small desk but it had no power outlets nearby so using a laptop wasn’t possible. Breakfast was complimentary and was a good (but only cold) buffet.

Bei zwei Aufenthalten habe ich zwei verschiedene 'Zellen' (Kleinste Zimmer, die man zur Bestrafung von Einzelreisenden bereithält) bekommen. Zelle 412 ist klein, aber man konnte sich bewegen. Zelle 111 war noch kleiner, hatte dafür aber ein großes, bequemes Bett. Dort schränkte bereits das Öffnen eines Kabinenkoffers die Beweglichkeit sehr stark ein. Beide Zellen haben kleine Badezellchen. Darin konnte man sich nach dem Duschen nur abtrocknen, wenn man die Tür offen lässt. Das Badezellchen von Zelle 111 ist noch kleiner als das von Zelle 412, so dass man, wenn man auf der Toilette sitzt, halb unter dem Waschbecken sitzt.

Perfekt läge för oss tågresenärer. Trevlig personal. Stort och fräscht rum och badrum. Ordentliga ytor för våra saker. Kunde lätt reglera värmen. Ingen handdukstork som stod och brände el i onödan, ett hållbarhetstänk. Frukosten fin, innehöll allt vi behövde. Ingen vattenkokare på rummet men fick välvillig hjälp med tevatten till termosen från köket innan nästa tågresa.

Die Dame an der Rezeption in der Mittelschicht war sowas von unfreundlich. Hier ist der Kunde nicht König, sondern lästige Arbeit. Die Frühschicht und Spätschicht an der Rezeption super freundlich. Der Flur zu den Zimmern ist sowas von kalt und es zieht in die Zimmer rein. Mit Heizung geht es, aber man merkt den Unterschied.

While there I lost my phone. One of the desk clerks TETIANA was really REALLY compassionate and supportive and helpful trying to help locate it. Her kindness helped me survive the trauma. Thank you Tetiana. Much appreciate your help. And I found the taxi and my phone after I had bought a new one.

Vi havde booket på hotellet og ankom kl. 23:45, hvor vi fik at vide, at de ikke havde værelse til os her, men på et andet hotel 200 meter nede af vejen. Træls, men ok. Vi kom ned og der var hurtig indtjekning. Vores værelse lå så midt i morgenmadsbuffeten, hvilket var træls, da de begyndte at larme omkring kl. 6 næste morgen og så var der larm derude fra hele morgenen. Værelset var udemærket og beliggenheden god.

I stayed at this hotel in early September 2024, and could not enjoy it. The room was not ready when I checked in. And the room did not AC, which made the stay in late summer uncomfortable, nor the curtain at the window although it faces with the central station. I saw a couple of other guests rejected due to over-booking. The reception staff was friendly, but clearly the hotel management was not working properly.

Where to start! For the money absolutely dreadful. Bathroom so small you have to shift legs to one side to sit down to go to the loo. Dreadful noise isolation (and it next to the noisy main station with drink loud people all night so you need it) , window sill so cheap the plastic of it flexed massively. So cheap not even any blackout curtains. Cleaning staff come in despite "do not disturb sign". And worst of all they double charged me despite the fact i told them I had already paid hotelscom. (I did manage to get it back after I sent a snotty email). Avoid avoid.

O hotel é bem localizado , próximo a vários outros hotéis e restaurantes . Não recomendo os restaurantes próximos ao Hotel , procurem nas ruas internas os restaurantes de culinária portuguesa que ficam bem próximos . A região próxima a estação central tem muita movimentação e algumas pessoas com aparecia perigosa , mas tem uma delegacia quase que em frente do hotel . Não sentimos inseguros . O hotel está em reforma mas não houve incômodo , o café é simples mas resolve as primeiras necessidades de uma refeição rápida . Fizemos todos pontos turísticos andando . Não existem amenities de qualidade no hotel , nem mesmo uma touca para banho , levem os seus .

We stayed 1 night before catching a morning flight fro Hamburg airport. Hotel is a 2 minute walk from the platform for airport train departures. Literally across the street from the the station. Super convenient. Will definitely use this hotel again. The hotel building sèms to be quite old and decor in rooms is perhaps a little outdated but clean and in good condition. There was plenty of space and good hanging area. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom seemed quite new and spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked both road and station but very very little noise came into the room when the windows were closed. The hotel was very clean and pleasantly warm. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast started at 6 30 am so suited us as we had to leave atc7 15 am. Breakfast was excellent ' continental style 'with plenty of options. Breakfast room was blissfully quiet. This hotel is also very well placed for exploring the city. I felt this hotel gave excellent value for money.

A decent option for an inexpensive room with the main feature being the location directly across the street from the Hamburg HFB. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bathroom had very new fixtures. The room was extremely small without room for even a luggage rack (none was provided). To sit on the toilet and lean forward a person will risk banging his sternum against the sink. The bed was comfortable. There was a small desk but it had no power outlets nearby so using a laptop wasn’t possible. Breakfast was complimentary and was a good (but only cold) buffet.

Excellent location. Hotel is under renovation with inhouse construction litterly next door. Beds were very hard, especially the extra bed. Hotel was very noisy so you could even hear people talking next door (even though sound proofing was listed by hotels.com!). Things were falling out of the wall and multiple tiles on the bathroom floor was loose. I did not feel we got value for our money here!

Just across the street from the central train station, so taking the train from the airport is easy. We opted for a taxi and while it was expensive, we saw many areas of Hamburg.
