My wife and I love to come here. We always have an amazing stay. The location is in downtown Gouna, which is super convenient for dining options. The pool and bar are great, and the private lagoon beach is quiet and relaxing. The staff are all amazing throughout the stay. The rooms are a bit small but very nice and clean. Breakfast buffet is very good, and the food and drinks are excellent.

The hotel is in a great location for Downtown restaurants/shops and has a superb Dive Centre. The decor is a little tired but all the staff were lovely, helpful and really friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Cook’s Club caters for those seeking club music all day so if you prefer your holiday on the quieter side, ask for a room away from the bar/pool area. We asked to move to a quieter room and Ali at the reception was great and was happy to sorted it for us.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you like shopping and eating out, very close to everything. The hotel itself is very nice, beautiful grounds. It was my first experience with urban concrete design in the room and I personally did not like the toilet/shower design (too small) but the rest of the room and the terrace was very nice. The property manager Mr. Magdy(I forgot his last name) was very helpful to us and assisted with any questions we had. I also enjoyed the hotel spa. And breakfast is very good.

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage. Wir waren etwas besorgt, dass es in einem "Club" Hotel abends eher laut sein könnte, nachdem wir frühere Bewertungen gesehen hatten. Dem war aber keinesfalls so, wir hatten sehr entspannte drei Nächte. Nur Donnerstags ist angeblich Party, das sollte man also unter Umständen bedenken. Der kostenlose Transfer zum Zeytouna Beach ist toll und die Insel definitiv einen Besuch wert. Das Frühstück im Cooks Club ist phänomenal und insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. ElGouna generell ist nett und rausgeputzt, vom "echten" Ägypten bekommt man aber im Vergleich zu Hurghada, Cairo, Aswan etc. Eher weniger mit.

The location is very good, the staff are good also but that is about the most positive I can give the hotel itself. We were booked in for 7 nights and ended up cutting it short and checked into another hotel. The hotel is very basic, the pool area is super crowded you go after breakfast and everyone has reserved the spots already - only one side gets sun for the afternoon. The beach if you can call it that is less crowded but doesn’t get much sun. The worst bit about it was the fact the hotel was basically a dormitory (and I went to boarding school) - it has paper thin walls and we heard people having sex and most nights drunk guests would have no regard for other guests at night sleeping as they would be a lot of shouting down the corridors. Avoid this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday. It’s a glorified adults only club med for chavs.

Really enjoyed my stay at Cooks Club. The resort was clean, quiet and safe. It has everything you need but also in walking distance to many bars and restaurants. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We even had our own ambassador named Michael who was always available for any of our needs. Also there is a spa located right next door to the resort that was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again.

Wir haben eine volle Woche im Cooks Club El Gouna verbracht (2. bis 9. März). Und sind größtenteils zufrieden mit dem was uns geboten wurde. Ein schöne Außenanlage die gut gepflegt wird, eine schön eingerichtete Lobby und moderne Zimmer. Ein Paar Dinge haben uns aber nicht ganz gefallen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, waren aber leider nicht wirklich sauber. Die Fenster, die Glastüren und der Spiegel waren mit Schlieren überzogen. Der Toilettenbereich sowie die Dusche wurden gefühlt seit der Eröffnung nicht wirklich geputzt. Leider stank die Dusche an zwei Tagen sehr stark(Abflussgestank) und wir können uns nicht erklären warum. Außenanlage: Wunderschön und gut gepflegt. Fußläufigkeit: Da das Hotel direkt in Downtown El Gouna liegt, ist alles super zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Einkaufs- bzw. Fressmeile lädt zum abendlichen Spaziergang ein. Ziele die weiter entfernt sind können per Tucxi erreicht werden (etwa 35 EGP pro Fahrt). Essen: Das Essen war okay, keine Hochkulinarik aber für den gezahlten Preis in Ordnung. Rückblickend wäre die Halbpension nicht nötig gewesen da man überall in der Nähe entsprechende Restaurants findet. Service: Wie soll ich es sagen... Man war stets bemüht. Oft sind gerade die Kellner im Restaurant kopflos rumgerannt, haben einen längere Zeit komplett übersehen oder Teller und Besteck fast schon aus den Händen gerissen. Trotzdem hat jeder versucht so hilfsbereit wie möglich zu sein.

Das Hotel ist super cool und ich kann es nur empfehlen. Es sieht wirklich genau so aus wie auf den Bildern. Die Angestellten sind auch sehr freundlich und sprechen sogar Deutsch. Das Essen ist extrem lecker, das Beste wo ich auf meiner ganzen Ägypten-Reise hatte. Allerdings muss man sich bewusst sein, dass es am Abend durchaus etwas lauter kann werden wegen der Musik. Am Tag durch hat es am Pool auch Musik, aber in einer sehr angenehmen Lautstärke. Es heisst ja auch CLUB im Namen. Wenn man sich bei der Reinigung noch etwas mehr Mühe gibt, dann gibt es das nächste mal 10 von 10 Punkten. Nicht falsch verstehen, es war eigentlich schon sauber, aber zum Beispiel in den Ecken hat es schon Schmutz und ein paar merkwürdige Flecken auf dem Boden. Ich würde sofort wieder hier buchen sollte ich wieder einmal nach El Gouna kommen.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cooks Club, the staff is very kind and helpful. They support you however they can without being pushy. Walking to the restaurants and stores takes only 5 minutes and the boat to the beach is a 10 minute walk. The boat takes you to Zeytan beach and its amazing, a lot of privacy and not many people. You can pick a spot at the man made lagoon or the actual beach on the other side. The beach is clean and so was the room. This is our new favorite destination if we just want to relax instead of travelling, so highly recommended! All the best from the Netherlands.

This is such a beautiful resort. So clean and well designed. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The food was absolutely amazing. The bar by the pool made delicious drinks! The pool was so clean and so nice! There was staff every morning cleaning the beds outside, which were reallyyyy comfy! I highly recommend and will be coming back in the future! The rooms are gorgeous. However, very small.

Tolles Personal und Atmosphäre. Sehr sauber und stylisch. Sabri hat unser Zimmer jeweils top gereinigt. Essen abwechslungsreich und bietet eine gute Auswahl von lokalen und internationalen Speisen. Einzig die Schallisolierung der Zimmer könnte verbessert werden (Fenster und Türe).

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. The service was top notch, everyone was all very kind and accommodating. (From asking for breakfast boxes to late checkout — all my requests were met). The morning yoga included in the itinerary was such a bonus treat to my stay. Doing yoga out on the jetty first thing in the morning with the beautiful scenery is a must! Also the rooms are clean and spacious, housekeeping do a great job. I highly recommend the half-board option when booking as the breakfast buffet is plentiful and the evening meals are varied with very generous servings. Will be back in the future!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff are really nice, although one of the staff at the reception wasn't that nice. The breakfast is really tasty and there is a lot of options. The pool and beach are superior too and the location is perfect, next to the downtown. However, the problems with this hotel would be: Rooms are too small, if you're too people staying in the room it is very tight. The bathroom is in the middle of the room which is weird, the overall design of the property is weird and the colors used in the interior would make it really hard to know if the room is clean or not, which is a bit uncomfortable. The second thing is that at times there would be no hot water, we informed them the first time and the answer was that the hotel is packed (not a justification). Then the second time we informed them again and they fixed the problem. I would say compared to the price paid, pay a bit more and get more value at other nearby hotels.

Uns gefällt der Stil des Hotels mit seiner minimalistischen Einrichtung sowie der schöne Pool und Außenbereich und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Abends kann es etwas lauter werden, da sich das Hotel selbst als Partyhotel sieht. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig, da kann man schon mal aufwachen wenn andere Hotelgäste die Lautstärke auf dem Flur nicht angemessen regulieren. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig mit verschieden Kaffeevariationen, frischen Früchten, Omelett Station, Pancakes, etc. und Downtown mit vielen Restaurants, einem Supermarkt und und vielen kleinen Läden nur 2 Min. Fußweg entfernt.

The rooms are a little small but clean. The service is very good and the location is excellent. There is no elevator, you need to go up the stairs to your room. I believe they have 3 floors but in general it was a pleasant experience.

The location is very good, the staff are good also but that is about the most positive I can give the hotel itself. We were booked in for 7 nights and ended up cutting it short and checked into another hotel. The hotel is very basic, the pool area is super crowded you go after breakfast and everyone has reserved the spots already - only one side gets sun for the afternoon. The beach if you can call it that is less crowded but doesn’t get much sun. The worst bit about it was the fact the hotel was basically a dormitory (and I went to boarding school) - it has paper thin walls and we heard people having sex and most nights drunk guests would have no regard for other guests at night sleeping as they would be a lot of shouting down the corridors. Avoid this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday. It’s a glorified adults only club med for chavs.

This is such a beautiful resort. So clean and well designed. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. The food was absolutely amazing. The bar by the pool made delicious drinks! The pool was so clean and so nice! There was staff every morning cleaning the beds outside, which were reallyyyy comfy! I highly recommend and will be coming back in the future! The rooms are gorgeous. However, very small.

Tolles Personal und Atmosphäre. Sehr sauber und stylisch. Sabri hat unser Zimmer jeweils top gereinigt. Essen abwechslungsreich und bietet eine gute Auswahl von lokalen und internationalen Speisen. Einzig die Schallisolierung der Zimmer könnte verbessert werden (Fenster und Türe).

The hotel was fine but I’m not sure we would come back soon. For the first night there was a miscommunication in the type of room we had booked. This was rectified the next day which was great but the rooms were extremely basic for the price and not as big as the pictures suggest. We thought it was over priced and small for two people. However, the selection of food for breakfast in the buffet was brilliant and delicious! The pool was lovely too. The pool bar staff were lovely but slow on service and delivery of orders. There were lots of perks to staying here such as location & breakfast but I’m not sure we’d rush back honestly as we didn’t think it was great value for money in comparison to some other places in Gouna.

Second, the pool club and lagoon areas are well maintained, you can happily spend a day there. Third, the staff, every single one of them, are amazing and professional! Special shout out to Michael he was very attentive and catered to all our needs. Lastly, Cook’s Club is your home away from home 💜

The hotel is in a great location for Downtown restaurants/shops and has a superb Dive Centre. The decor is a little tired but all the staff were lovely, helpful and really friendly and the beds were very comfortable. Cook’s Club caters for those seeking club music all day so if you prefer your holiday on the quieter side, ask for a room away from the bar/pool area. We asked to move to a quieter room and Ali at the reception was great and was happy to sorted it for us.

I would like to thank Heidi, Mariam and Pero for a memorable experience. The staff was kind, accommodating and welcoming. They went out of there way to ensure all of our inquiries were answered. I would have liked to be informed that bicycles are available for use but we were only told on the last day. The electricity would go off while we were in the room because the panel that activates electricity was faulty. Once we told them, they fixed it right away on our third day. I would definitely go back. Thank you cooks club

Check in discrepancy, couldn’t find reservation even with number… took over 40 minutes. Not the best welcome. Check out they make you wait in the lobby while they check the mini bar in your room. For me that was very tacky and took linget than should have. Rest of the stay was wonderful

It’s a beautiful place for adults, quite at day time and nights more vibrant. Staff friendly and helpful, speak good English. The pool is huge, laguna very pretty. Downtown in 2 minutes away from the hotel. New Year party was amazing with good DJs and belly dancers! I really enjoyed the breakfast there and Egyption buffet. Special thanks to Mariam, Justin, Ali aother receptionists. Mohamed-spa guide, pool guys Ahmad, Sallam, bartender Huny(Honey? :). Room cleaner Fahad and many others.. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location of the hotel is perfect if you like shopping and eating out, very close to everything. The hotel itself is very nice, beautiful grounds. It was my first experience with urban concrete design in the room and I personally did not like the toilet/shower design (too small) but the rest of the room and the terrace was very nice. The property manager Mr. Magdy(I forgot his last name) was very helpful to us and assisted with any questions we had. I also enjoyed the hotel spa. And breakfast is very good.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cooks Club, the staff is very kind and helpful. They support you however they can without being pushy. Walking to the restaurants and stores takes only 5 minutes and the boat to the beach is a 10 minute walk. The boat takes you to Zeytan beach and its amazing, a lot of privacy and not many people. You can pick a spot at the man made lagoon or the actual beach on the other side. The beach is clean and so was the room. This is our new favorite destination if we just want to relax instead of travelling, so highly recommended! All the best from the Netherlands.

Der kostenlose Transfer zum Zeytouna Beach ist toll und die Insel definitiv einen Besuch wert. Das Frühstück im Cooks Club ist phänomenal und insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. ElGouna generell ist nett und rausgeputzt, vom "echten" Ägypten bekommt man aber im Vergleich zu Hurghada, Cairo, Aswan etc. Eher weniger mit.

Literie confortable , attention spécifié bien que vous voulez un grand lit et remettez le en commentaire ( nos amis avaient choisi un grand lit et on eu une chambre avec 2 lits/ plus d’autre chambre disponible à l’arrivée ) Piscine très bien entretenue Beaucoup de transats autour de la piscine et vers le lagon Serviettes de plage disponible à la piscine Bar un peu cher. Wir haben eine volle Woche im Cooks Club El Gouna verbracht (2. bis 9. März). Und sind größtenteils zufrieden mit dem was uns geboten wurde. Ein schöne Außenanlage die gut gepflegt wird, eine schön eingerichtete Lobby und moderne Zimmer. Ein Paar Dinge haben uns aber nicht ganz gefallen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet, waren aber leider nicht wirklich sauber. Die Fenster, die Glastüren und der Spiegel waren mit Schlieren überzogen. Der Toilettenbereich sowie die Dusche wurden gefühlt seit der Eröffnung nicht wirklich geputzt. Leider stank die Dusche an zwei Tagen sehr stark(Abflussgestank) und wir können uns nicht erklären warum. Außenanlage: Wunderschön und gut gepflegt. Fußläufigkeit: Da das Hotel direkt in Downtown El Gouna liegt, ist alles super zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Einkaufs- bzw. Fressmeile lädt zum abendlichen Spaziergang ein. Ziele die weiter entfernt sind können per Tucxi erreicht werden (etwa 35 EGP pro Fahrt). Essen: Das Essen war okay, keine Hochkulinarik aber für den gezahlten Preis in Ordnung. Rückblickend wäre die Halbpension nicht nötig gewesen da man überall in der Nähe entsprechende Restaurants findet. Service: Wie soll ich es sagen... Man war stets bemüht. Oft sind gerade die Kellner im Restaurant kopflos rumgerannt, haben einen längere Zeit komplett übersehen oder Teller und Besteck fast schon aus den Händen gerissen. Trotzdem hat jeder versucht so hilfsbereit wie möglich zu sein.

Wir waren das zweite Mal im Cook‘s Club in El Gouna. Uns gefällt der Stil des Hotels mit seiner minimalistischen Einrichtung sowie der schöne Pool und Außenbereich und die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tres bon sejour Hotel propre et a 1 minute a pied du petit centre ville Nous avions pris la demie pension..inutile car nourriture vraiment bof et vu la proximité du centre il y a tout ce qu il faut. Erreur de la part de hotel.com ils nous ont attribué une chambre avec 2 lits simple alors que nous avions bien note un lit double. L hotel n a rien fait meme pas un cocktail offert.. Pour ceux qui plonge tres bon club dans l hotel avec une équipe tres sympa

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. The service was top notch, everyone was all very kind and accommodating. (From asking for breakfast boxes to late checkout — all my requests were met). The morning yoga included in the itinerary was such a bonus treat to my stay. Doing yoga out on the jetty first thing in the morning with the beautiful scenery is a must! Also the rooms are clean and spacious, housekeeping do a great job. I highly recommend the half-board option when booking as the breakfast buffet is plentiful and the evening meals are varied with very generous servings. Will be back in the future!

We had an amazing stay at Cook’s Club El Gouna. The vibe is so cool and relaxing, the rooms were clean and modern, and the pool area is beautiful. The music, food, and overall atmosphere made it such a fun experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We truly had a great time and would definitely come back.

Fantastic customer service from the entire team — especially Youstina, who was consistently helpful, friendly, and always greeted me with a smile. The location is excellent and made it very easy to get around the city. It’s a super relaxing place with plenty of activities, and the breakfast was great.
