Great hotel choice in El Gouna. Beach front rooms are nice, good facilities and reasonable prices. The beach is good and so are the pools. Service is very good, they are very attentive and have small gestures such as cleaning sunglasses and settings towels for you. The town is a short stroll away and offers a good choice of restaurants and bars.

Our stay at The Chedi El Gouna was remarkable. So good, that we decided to extend our stay. The hotel grounds are impeccably maintained. Our room was a Beachfront room practically sitting on the beach sand. The entire staff has one priority: to please their guests! We stayed at this property less than one month after they opened and it was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The resort was gorgeous. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to relax on / near the beach.

We had a lovely stay at the Chedi el Gouna. We had previously stayed at the Chedi Andermatt, and were intriged by El Gouna. We were not disappointed. From A to Z our stay was exellent: location, hotel facilities, food, service, massage, amenities, activities and more! Thank you so much to the while Team, we will be back!

Sehr schöne und direkt am Meer gelegene Anlage mit Privatstrand. Service und Essen ist hervorragend, nur die vom The Chedi angebotene App ist ausbaufähig, Termine stimmen nicht und es kommen keine Bestätigungen an. Auch Gym und Sauna sind in einem 1a Zustand und das Spa bietet tolle Treatments an.

I really appreciated the Chedi for a number of reasons: 1) Very comfortable bed so I slept very well - beautiful room stylishly decorated, private, all the amenities (you don't have to bring a beach bag, already there). 2) Great service - from the preparations for my visit to solving some issues that occurred during the visit, services was brilliant. I really liked the ambassador whatsapp service, very responsive. 3) Amenities - I did two spa treatments (both with Sama, I can highly recommend her), excellent; had dinner at Nihon (excellent food) and the general restaurant (high standard), as well as benefiting from the pool and beach service - very responsive (try the Frosty Gin, very refreshing).

I’ve recently returned from a week at The Chedi El Gouna and it was quite simply the best holiday I have ever been on: I’m already planning my return and cannot recommend it enough to anyone else who may be considering a stay there. I’ve travelled solo as a woman to many places over the years and I’ve never felt so welcomed and safe as I did at The Chedi, or El Gouna. The whole staff were so kind and attentive, and really went over and above to ensure that I had everything I needed and more throughout my stay. From the guest relations team (including Mario who led a great boat trip round El Gouna) to the restaurant team (including the lovely Milanya who I so enjoyed talking with each day), the bar team (including Mohamed who many times made my favourite cocktail for me off-menu), the spa team (including Christina and Magda), the lifeguards and waiting staff (who were so kind and helpful in indulging my early stages of learning Arabic and helping me with it), and housekeeping (who arranged fresh flowers on my bed each day), nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail at The Chedi is exemplary. It is a great environment maintained to the highest standards and set on a beautiful beach with easy access to El Gouna’s marinas. If you are considering booking a holiday here: you must! Thank you to all at The Chedi for your efforts in making last week one of the best of my life. I hope to see you again soon!

Hier hat alles gestimmt: von der Abholung vom Flughafen, dem herzlichen Empfang an der Rezeption dem tollen luxuriösen Zimmer, dem sauberen Strand, dem Spa mit wundervoll entspannenden Behandlungen und der toll angelegten Hotelanlage. Daneben aber vor Allem den wirklich sehr professionellen Mitarbeitern, die alle sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit sind und einem jeden Wunsch von den Augen ablesen, auch wenn diese noch geschlossen sind. Welch ein Service! HASSAN vom Restaurantservice war einzigartig und hat uns einen kleinen Kochkurs bei MOHAMMAD, dem Küchenchef, arrangiert, der sich wirklich gefreut hat, uns seine Kochkunst zu zeigen. OMAR von der Beachbar, der uns trotz der großen Hitze immer mit einem Lächeln all unsere Wünsche erfüllt hat. AMR, unser Housekeeper von Raum Nr. 2203, der Herzen aus Blumen auf unsere Betten arrangierte. An alle Angestellten ein großes Dankeschön für diese tolle unvergessene Woche. Erholung pur!!!

They make each guest feel so special at this place. The attention you get is incredible. I can’t recall not one single mistake or imperfection. What's so special about, on top of cleanliness, is the staff’s performance and behaviour. Even though it was Ramadan and most of the staff were fasting, they were always super sweet, alert, dedicated and very hospitable. Fully functional and efficient despite the fast and the high temperature. Always smiling and offering you the best service. Super generous as well. They tend to pamper you with snacks every now and then unexpectedly (popcorn bucket, juices, fruits…). We didn’t have to complain once. Always smiling. Special thanks to ROMANI and Mahmoud at the reception, Mahmoud and Mostapha by the beach, Mohamad by the pool and beach house, and Amr for housekeeping, Kareem at the breakfast. I hope I did not forget anyone. Ask for the beach front room.

The service is exceptional, very quiet, intimate hotel, perfect for couples and honeymoons! I loved the turndown at night! That was six stars. The beds, bedsheets pillows were also of a high standard compared to other 4/5* hotels I have been to. The setting beautiful as well.

I really liked the ambassador whatsapp service, very responsive. 3) Amenities - I did two spa treatments (both with Sama, I can highly recommend her), excellent; had dinner at Nihon (excellent food) and the general restaurant (high standard), as well as benefiting from the pool and beach service - very responsive (try the Frosty Gin, very refreshing).

Whilst the quality of the food is good there is very limited options. In the evening the only options are a buffet (average quality) or Japanese (which is very good). Staff on the front desk are average. On three occasions they didn’t know answers to our questions and promised to come back to us and then didn’t. Further, we wanted to book the Japanese restaurant one evening and reception informed us it was fully booked. A few minutes later we walked to be restaurant and was told there is availability. Just seems the reception staff can’t be bothered, some are also arrogant.

We had a wonderful stay at The Chedi El Gouna — a calm, elegant resort with a genuine sense of quality and care. The atmosphere is serene and relaxing, with thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Special thanks to the two Beshoys (Safwat and Gamil), whose service stood out; to Ibrahim Mounir for sharing his deep knowledge of El Gouna and Hurghada; and to Mustafa and Abdullah for their warm, attentive service at mealtimes. A heartfelt thank-you also to Haidi and Marina, whose friendly and thoughtful conversations really made us feel at home. Kerlokos at check-in was especially welcoming and supportive. Ahmad and the lifeguard team at the pools and beach were professional and reassuring. And Ramadan from housekeeping was consistently kind, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. The property has just opened so the staff need more training. The building is an existing one and it was renovated so I think it could've been better. The breakfast area staff was really good, however, the pool and beach staff need intense training. The hotel has very little food choices. I would not stay there again.

Service is very good, they are very attentive and have small gestures such as cleaning sunglasses and settings towels for you. I’ve recently returned from a week at The Chedi El Gouna and it was quite simply the best holiday I have ever been on: I’m already planning my return and cannot recommend it enough to anyone else who may be considering a stay there. I’ve travelled solo as a woman to many places over the years and I’ve never felt so welcomed and safe as I did at The Chedi, or El Gouna. The whole staff were so kind and attentive, and really went over and above to ensure that I had everything I needed and more throughout my stay. From the guest relations team (including Mario who led a great boat trip round El Gouna) to the restaurant team (including the lovely Milanya who I so enjoyed talking with each day), the bar team (including Mohamed who many times made my favourite cocktail for me off-menu), the spa team (including Christina and Magda), the lifeguards and waiting staff (who were so kind and helpful in indulging my early stages of learning Arabic and helping me with it), and housekeeping (who arranged fresh flowers on my bed each day), nothing was too much trouble. The attention to detail at The Chedi is exemplary. It is a great environment maintained to the highest standards and set on a beautiful beach with easy access to El Gouna’s marinas. If you are considering booking a holiday here: you must! Thank you to all at The Chedi for your efforts in making last week one of the best of my life. I hope to see you again soon!

Our room was a Beachfront room practically sitting on the beach sand. The entire staff has one priority: to please their guests! Ein wirklich sehr schönes, nicht zu großes neu umgebautes Hotel. Absolute Ruhe wenn man sie sucht am Strand. Toller Service am Starnd und überall wo man möchte. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Alle Wünsche wurden sofort erfüllt. Das Essen sowohl im Hauptrestaurant sowie auch im OG beim Japaner waren ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück ist toll und sehr üppig und vielfältig. Insgesamt ein toller Erholungsurlaub für uns. Zudem ist man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten in der City mit vielen Restaurants oder auch mit dem TukTuk für einen Dollar. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Vielen Dank.

Séjour de 10 jours en demi-pension. Erreur à commettre car au bout de 10 jours vous avez vraiment fait le tour de la carte demi-pension qui ne propose que 3 choix ! Lors de la réservation il y avait le choix du buffet 1/2 pension qui n’existe pas. Réserver avec vue mer car les autres chambres peuvent avoir vue sur un mur ! Dommage pour un 5 étoiles

From the grounds, to housekeeping, the spa and the rooftop restaurant this is one of the best hotel I have stayed at. Even The pool cleaner Chebl saw I needed something and dropped everything to come help me. We were sad about missing the excellent breakfast because our plane left early so the front desk set us up with smoothies, cappuccinos and to go boxes for the airport. They work as a team here and it shows.

We were sad about missing the excellent breakfast because our plane left early so the front desk set us up with smoothies, cappuccinos and to go boxes for the airport.
