Car parking a breeze. Checkin easy and very friendly. Room clean and spacious and not so old as some report. Internet simple and fast. However there was constant hammering during the night 12am to 3am. When I finally called reception he said he would check and call me back. Surprisingly the hammering ceased immediately but he never called back. This incident spoilt what was an enjoyable stay but I will not exclude this hotel from future stays in Melaka.

It was a super nice hotel with great service and lovely staff, I already miss this place. We got a big and lovely room with an amazing view. The pool is very nice and room service is good and fast. It is visible that it is a bit old because of some leaking and the plug to the bath tub didn’t properly work. All in all we enjoyed the stay so much that we booked one more night before leaving. City is also very nice.

About a 15-minute walk from the center of town, it was a great budget hotel to stay at! The staff were very friendly, helping us with questions regarding our trip. The pool was warm, and the depth of the pool was just right for our two children. One a bit deep one, and a toddler's pool. The convenience store just opposite the hotel was also very useful to buy food and snacks for the night. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel is ageing but decent for the price paid. Pool facilities are good and basic fitness room. Check in and staff we encountered were great. However, cleanliness could be improved, and the road noise is very high. Maintenance was also being conducted at 2-3am outside our room, I guess this must’ve been unavoidable but also hindered the quality of sleep.

27 daget i Malakka. Vi bodde på toppen i 14.etasje og rommet, de lux rom, var greit og stort, ca 40m2. Badet er greit med stor dusj med godt trykk, det lekker litt vann ut på gulvet etter bruk men ok, det går bra. Rommet vårt har dør inn til naborommet og når der var folk var det veldig lytt, litt vanskelig å sove da. Ellers er det mye støy fra gata med trefelts vei rett utenfor. Spesielt i helgene er det mye lyd fra motorsykler midt på natta, ellers er sykehuset rett over gata og mye sirener. Et par av vinduene kunne ikke lukkes helt tett så det var vel deror det ble mye støy. Ellers greit hotel med grei frokost. Veldig hyggelig betjening og veldig rent og ryddig hotel. Bassengområdet er også rent og ryddig. Plasseringen av hotellet er greit med gangavstand til restauranter, dagligvare, turiststtraksjoner, massasje mm. Vi hsr hverken sett taxi eller buss her men bruker grab som koster fra 13 kr, fungerer veldig bra. Malakka er en fin og ren by med masse å se og veldig vennlige folk.

Carpark limited. Lvl 3 carpark only have 1 lift. Lobby single sofas is smelly & unkept. Staffs missing during breakfast at 0930 am. No one check us in during that time. Staff left the egg station, a guest was still keen for egg dish. Chef went out & took food when guest is still around. So unprofessional.

Despite the room is big & spacious, the hotel need to review it level of health hygiene of room. The housekeeping & cleaning of the room is bad; such as : no washing (or mopping), cleaning and tidy of the bathroom floor (ie mirror, showering glass partition & toilet seat & etc). No refilling of showering necessities like toilet roll, shower gel, shampoo, cotton buds, shower cap & etc. No changing of bathe towels, hand towels and floor towel. The room is not sweeping or mopping and slipper is provide only on request. Although the stay was a bit disappointed but I would to give compliment to the floor manager for his willingness to assist and provide help and his friendly and approachable personality. Thank you.

We are familiar with Bayview as we used to stay at Bayview when the kids were much younger. After more than 15 yrs we are back at Bayview. I like the huge, cosy & clean room. The beds are comfortable & rooms renovated. I'll stay at Bayview again, just that if u love shopping, may not find the location convenient as the big malls are not within walking distance.

Stayed in 2 of their family suites, and thought that they will be connected. In actual fact one suite has 2 bedrooms with connecting toilet. And each level has only one family suite, located so near to the lift that if you are a light sleeper you may not have your quality sleep. Though the rooms are not new, they are spacious enough, which is one of the reason for choosing this hotel. A distance away from Jonker Street, compared to a newer hotel down the road. Traffic a bit busy at times but still able to across without pedestrian crossing nearby. Finding food is not a issue here.

Room was reasonably clean but furnishing were old, rotting and in need of upgrading. Room main doors without dampers and causing it to slam loudly due to pressure differential. Hotel booking indicated charges included tax and fees but was charged additionally on checkin for 'Tourism & Heritage Tax' at RM$12 per day.

The location of this hotel to Little India, China town, the river and street restaurants make it the perfect place to stay for a few days. The very spacious room, friendly staff, big buffey daily breakfast as well as the 2 ale cart rrstaurant complimented this accommodation to a high level.

The hotel is conveniently located near to eateries and places of interest. Walkable for those who are used to outdoors. Otherwise, Jonker Walk and other historical places are located within 3 km radius. The only gripe is that the sound proofing is poor. Noise along the corridor and next room is clearly audible. Hopefully the management will look into this issue.

A lovely late thirties ‘design classic’ . what was remarkable was the original features, it was visually stunning !! The staff , from porters to management were helpful friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was spacious and well kept. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choice The swimming pool was a welcome treat Near to Kampung Morten it was well positioned

This is, in the whole, a lovely property which gives excellent value for money. All staff are friendly, enthusiastic and kind. It is within walking distance of the center of Malacca, has several eating options on site as well as convenience stores and a restaurant very close by. The only thing to be aware of is that the room (especially the bathroom) is a bit tired and the bathroom was not wiped over daily as part of room servicing. Still an excellent option for the price and i would happily stay there again.
