Staff were awesome. Rooms were a little old, but the amenities were great. Enjoyed the pool and the onsen. The beach was great on the couple of nice days we had. The food was amazing. All except the orchid room. Food was cold and stale, but the entertainment was great in the orchid room.

Overall the stay was good. The hotel grounds are beautiful and it was a comfortable stay! The best part of this hotel was the spa, which was excellent. However, I must say that this hotel is currently no longer a 5-star hotel. But that could be fixed with renovations to the rooms. They are outdated and have visible stains on furniture and floor. If the hotel renovated the rooms it would certainly be a a 5-star hotel again.

The beach area was beautiful but the lift was painfully slow. We also couldn't really understand why the toilets had blinds on the outside instead of inside. Rooms were average but service was good - you could get extra water or towels or pillows on your phone. Do note that food options outside of the hotel requires a drive out and parking is also by the beach, requiring a shuttle bus to bring us back to the hotel.

This was a great experience. Thanks to the staff at the Club Lounge but in particular to Manui (not remembering his name completely) who suggested a room upgrade for my family (2 children). The room was great and we really enjoyed all 4 nights!!! The hotel is in great condition and having access to the Club Lounge for breakfast with my children. We only missed the opportunity to try several restaurants that for some reason were closed during our stay.

スタッフの皆さんが親切でとても気持ちの良い宿泊をさせて頂きました。建物は古いようですが、部屋はとても綺麗でした。施設に関しては、プールの老朽化やカビが気になってしまいました。コインランドリーは綺麗でしたが、両替機が無い事とエアコンがなくとても暑い事、台数が少なくなかなか使うまでに2、3時間待つ事など色々と不便な点はありました。 1番困ったのはエレベーターが少なく、中々来ないうえ、やっときたと思っても満員で乗れない事が度々あり、移動に時間がかかりました。また建物が吹き抜けで、ロビーからプールへの扉がないため、真夏の宿泊時は思っていたよりロビーや廊下が蒸し暑かった。色々と細かな事を書いてしまいましたが、全体を通してとても良い時間を過ごさせて頂きました。

Overall the stay was good. The hotel grounds are beautiful and it was a comfortable stay! The best part of this hotel was the spa, which was excellent. However, I must say that this hotel is currently no longer a 5-star hotel. But that could be fixed with renovations to the rooms. They are outdated and have visible stains on furniture and floor. If the hotel renovated the rooms it would certainly be a a 5-star hotel again.

10月に娘と宿泊しました。ビーチもプールもあって最高でした。建物は古そうですが、清掃が行き届いています。ただ、やはり古いので、防音はいまいち…廊下の音、周囲の部屋の音でよく寝れず…耳栓必須です。また、洗面所に扉がないので、子供が寝たあとお風呂にはいる、早く起きて仕度する、といったことはできません。お子さま連れの方は注意したほうがいいかも。とはいえ、とても楽しい2泊を過ごせました。

Located in the quiet village of Onna, the hotel provides a welcome retreat from the hustle found further south. The staff is attentive and professional. Food prepared at the restaurants is top quality. There is plenty of free parking for guests. The only things I found detracting from a perfect stay was having to make sure the slider to the balcony was perfectly aligned before latching or it would whistle with the breeze and bring your device charger adapters for there were no usb ports at all in the room we had. Otherwise the property is outstanding.

Our stay would have been perfect if it were not for the terrible sleep we got because the rooms felt hot and sticky. The a/c, though there are “thermostats” in the room, are centrally controlled and can not be set cooler than what the hotel has set it to. The alternative is to rent fans. The rooms should be more comfortable at an Intercontinental. Upon check in when entering the elevator there was so much pee on the floor amongst all the water people have brought in from the pool area. My assumption was that a child may have had an accident, but the smell was very unpleasant. Overall, it’s a decent hotel in a great location with many things to do. My suggestion would just be to let guests control the temperature in their own rooms, especially since the brutal Okinawa summer is upon us.

This was our 2nd time staying at ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach Resort since our honeymoon stay more than 10 years ago and sadly, the resort has started to show its age... My family of 3 stayed 6 nights in a Class Room (twin beds) on the 4th floor. We didn’t request an extra bed as it would cost an additional 8000 yen per night. The 2x single beds were put together but it did not come with a bed bridge (gap filler). We made a request the next day, but the staff said that such a service is not available. Despite sharing only 2x single beds between the 3 of us, we’ve had a good sleep as the bedding was comfortable. We booked a beach view room which overlooks the garden pool as well as the resort’s private beach and it was totally worth paying extra for it. It was spacious, but it’s quite worn out with scuff marks all over the floor, walls, and furniture. You could see wear and tear throughout the resort as well so it’s overdue for a full renovation. Room cleanliness can be improved as we’ve found long hair on the bathroom wall. The pool was great as it is not too deep even for younger kids. Breakfast buffet was busy with a 15-20 min table wait every morning. Although the food quality and variety weren’t as great as our 2012 trip, it was still good enough to be worth paying and queuing for. Overall, my stay was good but I’d most likely only visit again if the resort gets a full renovation. It's a shame because it probably has the best location settings in the entire Okinawa.

Very nice and clean hotel, by the sea and ideal for family vacation (mainy young children). My only concern is about breakfast : despite the fact it opens at 6:30 (at least in summer), it is over crowded with a significant waiting time. The check-in/check-out time was also fairly long. The personnel was very nice and helpful. Overall a very good hotel.

They “upgraded” us to a room overlooking the parking lot and gave us a room “early” but they won’t do it again… the threats started as soon as I completed the reservations. They wanted to charge us ¥8,000 to give a rollout bed for my 11year old but if she were 12 it would be free. The English Channels don’t ever work or have signals. The complaint list can go on and on. Most importantly, the hotel is outdated and the staff is rude. Stay elsewhere.

The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly. Although the facilities feel a bit dated, I believe that the kindness and hospitality of the staff are one of the most important factors when choosing a hotel. Among them, there was a female staff member at the breakfast restaurant—her name might be “Mino?”—whose genuine kindness really stood out. If you have breakfast here, I highly recommend dining in the section managed by Mino. Because of the great service, I will definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit.

This is a gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds! We stayed there from Wednesday to Saturday and it was surprisingly quiet, which we loved. The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the ocean, and all of the staff were friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is the hotel gouges you on food and none of the activities they offer are free. There are three main restaurants plus a cafe, and the cost of food and liquor is 2-3 times higher than what you’d pay outside the resort. There are a few restaurants outside the resort within walking distance, but otherwise you’re pretty hooped if you don’t have a car.

The property was ok but, given the price and the standard expected in a 4 stars hotel, there were several issues. First of all, the transport around the island was very limited, so if you did not have a private vehicle, it's better to look for another location. The area around the property is nice, but there are not lot of restaurants. Second, the property had lot of facilities, but some of them (as the children park) you had to pay them separately. And the worst is that there was a long waiting to get a table for breakfast. To be honest, waiting 30-40 minutes to have breakfast is not what you expect when you stay in a 4 star hotel.

The bar wavy was temporarily closed and ocean cafe only open til 10pm so this was a disappointment. The hotel bar and restaurants had limited food choice and were overpriced for food and drink selection on offer. The buffets were not restocked often enough given the amount of people in the hotel. The gap in price between drinking at the bar verses buying from the store was unreasonably large. The beach facility and location and access thereof was very good. The hotel is dated and could do with a refurbishment. The staff did process an ocean view upgrade for our review with a small fee and quick arrangement so we were thankful for this. Hotel is definately targeting young families which wasn’t to our requirements when we wanted a peaceful evening dinner.

Overall good, especially for families with young children, given the pool and the beach. The place is well maintained, staff is great and rooms are clean. only 3 points to improve in my opinion : 1/ There can be a long wait time for the breakfast (not enough capacity for the buffet), 2/ The wait time at the reception can also be long for WE/holidays and 3/ The food was ok but not great

Japanese style (or I should say Okinawa style) breakfast was spot on and delicious! Wide variety of local cuisines to include tappanyaki steak was top quality. Courtesy fireworks was also a surprise, my children especially loved it! I’d definitely stay here again.

Worst worst breakfast experience ever. 1-2hours waiting is a minimum. You have to work for the hotel by waking up early and login the hotel queing site and keep watching it all morning. It will ruin your morning. They are NOT ready for summer. And the bathroom smells dirty.

I spent a few nights at the hotel with my wife and two daughters (aged 10 and 13) recently. The staff were excellent and the beach was really good, but... * The Grill restaurant was closed throughout our stay, and the Italian restaurant was also not open every night. This really just leaves the extremely expensive hotel restaurant, and I didn't want to spend up to £200 per night on a family dinner. * The breakfast situation is awful. You have to book online for a breakfast table but you can only book on the day after 630am. First day we booked at 815am and had to wait over 2 hours for a free table. So we booked earlier at 715am the next day and still waited over 2 hours. So we booked earlier at 645am the next day and still waited 2 hours. I don't want to get up at 630am on holiday nor wait 2 hours for breakfast. * I paid for bed & breakfast for 4 people through Expedia but bizarrely the hotel don't regard a 10 year old as a person so I had to pay another £50 per day extra so she could have a bed and some breakfast. The hotel say they have issues with Expedia but not so much that they can be bothered to fix the problem when they can just charge more money. Also the room is not suitable for 4 people at all. * The hotel room decor, whilst clean, is decades out of date and just doesn't justify all the high prices, like the beach inflatable course being £20 per person or £50 per person dinner. No wonder the local shop at the end of the road is always so busy with hotel guests.
