A very comfortable stay, with spacious, comfortable rooms and views across to the town and cathedral. Slightly longer that 'walkable' distance from town, but we were happy to drive/bus, both very easy to do and only a few minutes. Loved the outdoor pool area, though slightly disappointed to find the indoor one closed. Evening meal good value. Room very comfortable, with small terrace for views. Facilities in room good, although some fittings (handles, taps) rather 'tired' and loose.

A pesar de que ofertan el servicio en la web y en Expedia, no hay gimnasio. Sí lo tenían antes del COVID por lo que me contaron y luego ya dejaron de hacerlo. La piscina cubierta tiene un horario muy reducido. Cuando llegamos el domingo ya estaba cerrada y solo pudimos usarla el lunes por la tarde un ratito. La piscina descubierta por otra parte no está abierta, Creo que deberían indicarlo previamente.

Kommt unseren Bedürfnissen nicht nach. Paradores kennen wir anders. Klar sind es meist alte Burgen oder Klöster, was nicht bedeuten muss, dass der Zustand auch alt ist. Leider sind die Spuren des Alters in diesem Paradores deutlich zu sehen. Wir hatten das Zimmer Nr. 503, das keinen guten Eindruck hinterlässt. Schlechter Geruch im Badezimmer. Dürfte nicht sein! Alles einfach abgenutzt!

La localización ideal, la comida excelente y el personal muy amables y atentos. El parador necesita de un mantenimiento. Se le nota el paso de los años, suelo de la habitación rallado, grifos de ducha que se caen, agua con baja presión, etc.

The property was clean but in need of a refresh. Our room was dated and the bathroom, although clean, had stained and crumbling grout in the shower. It was also a shower in a bath so a bit awkward to get in and out and also a bit slippery. The view from our room was spectacular and the balcony was a lovely addition. The only real negatives were the temperature in the room which was so hot neither of us could sleep. When we asked about AC, we were told it was off and to open the windows to prevent the heating coming on. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. The parador is also quite a distance from the town and up a hill so taxi was needed if not driving.

Wir waren schon in einigen Paradores -Hotels und immer sehr zufrieden. Doch von diesem Paradores sind wir nicht begeistert. Das ganze Hotel, insbesondere jedoch das Zimmer mit der Nr. 503, welches wir bewohnt haben, ist enttäuschend. Total abgenutzt, einfach renovierungsbedürftig. Schlechter Geruch im Badezimmer. Ubicación y servicio excelentes. Restaurante y desayuno espectaculares. Lo peor la sido el mobiliario de la habitación ya muy antiguo, la pared manchada y rota y el baño muy antiguo también (lavado, bidet, bañera y wc muy amarillos). Aún así estaba todo muy limpio así que repetiríamos sin dudarlo

It is actually a beautiful trip It’s a beautiful city and the Parador. It is located in a beautiful where you have a fantastic view of the city we were given handicap Rome that appears to be quite small and there was now shower curtains, so there was water all over I should have decline that room and get a regular room. I think that they should have a coffee pot in the room where you can heat up your own coffee

The parador was very nice with an incredible view of Segovia. My only negative was that the beds were a little hard for us but we would still come back if returning to Segovia. Wonderful place!!

The Hotel as with all the Paradors we have stayed with is basically excellent value for money. We were less than enchanted with the service we received at the restaurant at our evening meal . The drinks we ordered whilst we were perusing the menu never appeared, likewise the bottle of wine. When we were finally able to bring this to the waiters attention our main courses had almost finished. The bottle of wine duly appeared on the bill. Next night with a change of mainly female staff things were a lot better, like a normal restaurant. Why did we go the second night? the hotel is some distance from the bars and restaurants of Segovia and luckily it was a better experience. To conclude I would recommend Segovia and the Parador to anyone but be a bit more assertive than we were with any bad service.

Bediening in restaurant : personeel niet beleefd . Nauwelijks Engels . Receptie idem dito . Ligging is wel erg mooi . De stad is zonder meer de moeite waard . Echter staat dat los van het hotel .

A very comfortable stay, with spacious, comfortable rooms and views across to the town and cathedral. Slightly longer that 'walkable' distance from town, but we were happy to drive/bus, both very easy to do and only a few minutes. Loved the outdoor pool area, though slightly disappointed to find the indoor one closed. Evening meal good value. Room very comfortable, with small terrace for views. Facilities in room good, although some fittings (handles, taps) rather 'tired' and loose.

The property was clean but in need of a refresh. Our room was dated and the bathroom, although clean, had stained and crumbling grout in the shower. It was also a shower in a bath so a bit awkward to get in and out and also a bit slippery. The view from our room was spectacular and the balcony was a lovely addition. The only real negatives were the temperature in the room which was so hot neither of us could sleep. When we asked about AC, we were told it was off and to open the windows to prevent the heating coming on. The food was OK but nothing to write home about. The parador is also quite a distance from the town and up a hill so taxi was needed if not driving.

The Hotel as with all the Paradors we have stayed with is basically excellent value for money. We were less than enchanted with the service we received at the restaurant at our evening meal . The drinks we ordered whilst we were perusing the menu never appeared, likewise the bottle of wine. When we were finally able to bring this to the waiters attention our main courses had almost finished. The bottle of wine duly appeared on the bill. Next night with a change of mainly female staff things were a lot better, like a normal restaurant. Why did we go the second night? the hotel is some distance from the bars and restaurants of Segovia and luckily it was a better experience. To conclude I would recommend Segovia and the Parador to anyone but be a bit more assertive than we were with any bad service.

Lovely room with the most amazing view of the cathedral, alcazar and old town. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. Great value for money. Would love to return one day.

The hotel is fabulous but the restaurant food is absolutely awful. When we told the waiter, (three out of the four dishes were dreadful. The fourth was just ok) he responded with ‘yes I know’ and took away the plates. The staff were totally indifferent. We were not complaining for compensation but the way we were treated makes me think we should have had some.

Ubicación y servicio excelentes. Restaurante y desayuno espectaculares. Lo peor la sido el mobiliario de la habitación ya muy antiguo, la pared manchada y rota y el baño muy antiguo también (lavado, bidet, bañera y wc muy amarillos). Aún así estaba todo muy limpio así que repetiríamos sin dudarlo

Hotellet har en fantastisk utsikt och vi hade halvpension med jättebra kvällsmat men de öppnar inte restaurangen förrän halv nio på kvällen och innan dess kan man bara få tag i potatischips i baren att äta.

Oh my goodness!! Best best hotel!! So beautiful scenery!! Great swimming pool and lobby parking lot !!! The staff at this hotel is among the most unfriendly I have ever encountered. There seems to be no concept of customer service whatsoever. At every moment, you get the feeling that you are bothering the staff simply by asking for assistance. The hotel itself is stunning. It is a beautiful 1970s brutalist building with breathtaking views of the city and the potential to offer an incredible guest experience. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff completely undermines it. The most frustrating example occurred when we asked reception to help us arrange a taxi, as there is no Uber or Cabify service available in the area and we were unable to book one ourselves. Our train to Madrid was departing in 40 minutes. The taxi took more than 30 minutes to arrive, and we ultimately missed our train. What was most disappointing was not the wait itself, as we understand that taxi availability is beyond the hotel’s control. Rather, it was the attitude of the reception staff. We were simply asking for assistance with arranging a taxi, yet it felt as though we were making an unreasonable request rather than asking for a basic service that reception is there to provide. In the end, you come to such a beautiful place, with stunning views of the city, hoping to relax and enjoy a pleasant weekend, only to find yourself affected by the negative atmosphere created by a staff that consistently makes guests feel like an inconvenience.
