The stay at this hotel is very pleasant My room and bathroom are clean and spacious. Personnel is friendly and helpful. A bar, restaurant and gym are on the premises, all very nice . They feature a lunch special Mon-Fri with a variety of choices. The helpful waiter explained the different dishes to me. Front staff was so helpful with directions to the Old Town which is easily walkable from the hotel. There is a grocery store next door. Also the train station is close by. The view from my room is not great, but it is not too important.

Excellent location right next to train station, very clear rooms, friendly reception, very tasty restaurant (recommended!), and assistance with bags. The garage could use a face lift, making it easier to navigate and cleaner. Very friendly garage attendant!

I had a very pleasant 2 days stay at this hotel. Both, my room and my bathroom were clean and spacious. The hotel features a bar, a restaurant and a gym, all very good. Upon arrival you receive a welcome drink (nice touch). The restaurant has a lunch special Monday to Friday with a variety of food. The waiter explained the different dishes to me. Breakfast is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Next door is a supermarket , and the train station is just ahead. It is a short walk to the old town with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Mycket trevligt hotell nära järnvägsstationen på den "lugnare" sidan. Bra kvalitet på rummet och en trevlig bar. Personalen var proffsig och hjälpsam. Skulle jag besöka Bari igen så kommer jag med all rimlighet att bo här igen.

Utmärkt hotell, dock inte så trevligt läge. Svårt finna parkering i trakten. (Garage fullt vid besöket.) Fint rum, bra sängar, fräscht badrum. Bra personal. Superb frukost! Även utsökt mat till middag. Mycket bra wifi.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in Bari. Really easy to find, across the road from the rear entrance of Bari Centrale station, just past Lidl. The room was clean and tidy, with comfy bed, fully functioning A/C, and a very handy fridge and kettle. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of hot and cold options, sweet & savoury, and great coffee. Some nice touches, such as a welcome drink and nibbles in the bar on the first evening. Also a free to use coffee machine and other drinks available in the bar area during the day. The hotel was a perfect base for exploring other parts of Puglia by train.... Monopoli, Polignano, Ostuni, Lecce, Locorotondo, Alberobello, and Matera. And of course, Bari itself, especially the old town and harbour.

Ich habe für einen Kurztrip ein Hotel gesucht, das sehr nah am Bahnhof gelegen ist. Dafür ist es perfekt. Abzug gibt es für die Pappbecher im Bad und beim Frühstück. Keinen Kaffee etc. aus dem Automaten nehmen sondern direkt beim Personal bestellen. Zimmer war sauber. Und ich hab wunderbar geschlafen.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. The restaurant served really good food. The room price was very good. Hotel is close to Train station, close to attractions and restaurants.The room was small, no lotion. TV was not working, the staff changed the remote quickly but the reception for the channels was bad. Only 3 channels work. the shower drained slowly, the tub was filled, the water temperature would go from too hot to too cold. The shower was dripping hours after showering, I had to place a towel in the tub to drown out the sound. You can hear everything from the next room and the streets.

El hotel de primera impresión parece bastante bueno; pero la habitación deja mucho que desear, la cama y almohadas eran muy incómodas, la televisión era vieja por lo que no había posibilidad de conectarte a plataformas por S-Mart TV y los canales solo estaban en italiano, el único canal en inglés eran noticias. La habitación se sentía bastante caliente y al solicitar ayuda a recepción para revisar el aire acondicionado su respuesta fue “si tienen calor, abran la ventana”. El desayuno es bueno y la ubicación es cercana a la estación de tren, pero en general la habitación se sentía incómoda, creo le hace falta una renovada al hotel.

Het was een mooi verblijf vlak bij veel voorzieningen als supermarkt, trein- en busstation en winkels. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was super! Ook glutenvrije opties dat was heel fijn. De kamer was klein maar voldoende als je er alleen kwam om te slapen of te relaxen. De badkamer was ook in prima staat.
Het was een mooi verblijf vlak bij veel voorzieningen als supermarkt, trein- en busstation en winkels. Het personeel was vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was super! Ook glutenvrije opties dat was heel fijn. Helt ok hotell, men absolutt ikke verdt prisen. Vi betalte nesten 2000kr for en natt, og aircondition fungerte ikke og sengene var kjempeharde. Rommet ble veldig varmt på natta og det gikk ikke å skru temperaturen ned. Sengene knirket ekstremt mye. Ikke det beste området heller, rett rundt gatehjørnet lå det folk og sov på bakken og følte ikke det var helt trygt der. De ansatte i resepsjonen virket også litt arrogante. Ellers var det et greit hotell med god beliggenhet til sentrum og tog. Helt ok frokost.

Tivemos um problema com o nosso quarto e fizeram prontamente a troca e com upgrade. Café da manhã e jantar muito bons. Estacionamento disponível no hotel por 10 euros por noite. Equipe atenciosa.

After traveling 18 hours We arrive late and the night shift from desk was very rude. We ask for orientation for any place closer to have something to eat he didn’t knew and no even bother to welcome. At that point we fell sleep starving. The breakfast was very good and the place is very clean location is little questionable.

Mi estancia en el Hotel Excelsior de Bari fue algo decepcionante para el precio y la categoría que tiene. La habitación que nos asignaron estaba adaptada para personas en silla de ruedas, y siendo mi mujer y yo bastante altos, el mobiliario del baño nos resultó muy incómodo por lo bajo que estaba. Solicité un cambio de habitación, pero en recepción nos dijeron que el hotel estaba completo y no sentí demasiada disposición para ayudarnos; la atención podría haber sido más amable. Por otro lado, tanto el desayuno como la ubicación fueron correctos y cumplieron con lo esperado. En general, la experiencia fue aceptable, pero creo que el hotel debería mejorar tanto el estado de las habitaciones como la atención al cliente.

I had to leave early and they made a breakfast bag up for me which was very much appreciated. I also got to check in a little early which was handy. Nice clean room. We had dinner there too and that is recommended. Also super close to the train station and bus terminal.

Liked: courteous and responsive staffs, cleaness, location, breakfast The hotel staffs have provided top quality services with a smile on their face. It made me feel welcome and my stay very pleasant. I would like to thank them for their hospitality . The location of the hotel was perfect for using as a homebase for making day trips to nearby towns like Alberobello, Matera. Polignano a Mare, etc. It took a few minutes of walking to the central train station and bus terminal. Yet there were no noises heard from train or bustling streets. In addition, a big supermarket, Lidl, was conveniently located in an adjacent building. I would definitely stay in this hotel when I visit Puglia in the future.

Mycket trevligt hotell nära järnvägsstationen på den "lugnare" sidan. Bra kvalitet på rummet och en trevlig bar. Personalen var proffsig och hjälpsam. Skulle jag besöka Bari igen så kommer jag med all rimlighet att bo här igen.

It is a lovely hotel and the service is very good. Unfortunately it is in a poor location which is dirty, a little run-down and full of graffiti. Being near the station, there are also many beggars in the area (sadly).

The hotel is right across the train station and right by a great grocery store called Lidl. We walked to the district one which is essentially old town with the marina, many restaurants, excellent local shops, and churches, beautiful Italian narrow streets. I wouldn’t recommend to drive unless you’re really experienced..

The location was steps from Bari Central station, which was ver convenient. The area outside the hotel was a bit sketchy. We only went left out of the hotel to a restaurant m, LIDL and the train station. Overall, the hotel is very nice. Breakfast was very good.

Several issues at the hotel: antiquated electrical outlets, room was very noisy next to the elevators, breakfast was terrible, very difficult to regulate temperature with a shower - it keeps changing temperature, room was hot even with heat off.

After traveling 18 hours We arrive late and the night shift from desk was very rude. We ask for orientation for any place closer to have something to eat he didn’t knew and no even bother to welcome. At that point we fell sleep starving. The breakfast was very good and the place is very clean location is little questionable.

I had a very pleasant 2 days stay at this hotel. Both, my room and my bathroom were clean and spacious. The hotel features a bar, a restaurant and a gym, all very good. Upon arrival you receive a welcome drink (nice touch). The restaurant has a lunch special Monday to Friday with a variety of food. The waiter explained the different dishes to me. Breakfast is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Next door is a supermarket , and the train station is just ahead. It is a short walk to the old town with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.
