Nice affordable property within walking distance to Old Town. Very clean but Oddly there were few Garbage cans around the grounds. Pool was not heated so very refreshing to say the least. Suites were spacious but no extras were included - example laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, Coffee, etc. Be prepared to purchase incidentals for your stay. FYI - Salt and Pepper is not freely offered in Portugal . Next time I'm bring from home.

The property was very nice with great amenities. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out the spa or the pools but the gym was good. A short walk to the city centre and it was nice to have a free shuttle to and from town, but it would have been nice if it ran later in the day for return from dinner out.

Het gebouw en de zwembaden worden redelijk onderhouden. Dezelfde gebreken als 2 / 3 jaar terug nog niet gerepareerd. Verder eigenlijk te weinig ligbedden waardoor er weer handdoekje leggen geblazen is als je bij het zwembad wil liggen. Vriendelijk personeel en prima poolbar. Niet geschikt voor minder validen.

It looks like a 2 star hotel. We choose it due to the facilities, but bowling, squash, the elevator and some fitness equipment was out of order and they had no intention to fix it when asked. Reception was under staffed and seemed liked they were feed up of tourist. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff amazing and so was housekeeping.

The outdoor pool was great. Not to crowded as most patrons just lounged around the pool. I did not try the indoor pool or hot tub as there was a surcharge for their use. Kind of cheap! Our cleaning staff was quite efficient, checking with us daily. The walk into the jungle, (old town) was energetic. The apartment was comfortable, reasonably well equipped, and the beds were good. There was daily housekeeping, and linens were changed every 3 or 4 days. There's a modest gym, sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a cold tub, and a tennis court. We ate in mostly, but there's enough restaurants open in February to eat out too. This was our second stay at Cerro Mar.

The property was great and very close to the town (very walkable but there are a number of steps that might impede if there any mobility issues - however the hotel does offer a free shuttle during the daytime). Very clean and safe with good facilities. Will stay again.

The rooms are old and outdated in the far building. The bathroom was outdated and the tub did not drain. The elevator was broken. The housekeeping was inconsistent or non existent. Do not stay at the last building they consider ocean side. Front desk was friendly, restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Overall stay was 3 star.

Great large apartment with good air conditioning which we needed as we stayed during a heat wave. The walk to and from the old town is not recommended for those who struggle to walk as the climb can be exhausting in 30c + temperatures. We had quite a lot of ants in the bedrooms which housekeeping staff cleaned up and sprayed but they did return. This didn’t spoil our overall opinion of the apartment though.

This the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Cerro Mar. We were given a room on the corner of a block of apartments on a main road so it was very noisy with traffic at night. The property/apartment is ok quite dated. If I was ever to stay at this complex again I’d pay a little extra and stay in Cerro Mar Gardens which is linked directly to the main reception.

Room was supposed to have one king and two twins but instead it had two twins pushed together and a hard plastic couch with a trundle, both of which were very uncomfortable even though we had more bedding delivered. Rooms were bare and dated. Had all of the basic needs. Beautiful views. Last shuttles to old town were 5:30 so if you are going to dinner, steep walk there and back. Town itself was very charming and lovely.

Weak management! 5am sun loungers reserved! I won't be going back to this hotel. Guests reserving sun loungers at 5am and not coming out to them to around 12 midday. Went and told management but they didn't want to know. Lift also reported broken on second day of arrival at the Atlantico block 3 and wasn't fixed until the day 6 of the holiday. Ironing boards in the apartment but no irons. Only good thing anything hotel was the location to the old town but it's a steep climb back up walking back to the hotel.

Terrible stay. We were put in the apartments as opposed to the hotel we had booked. A very small pool. Not enough Sun loungers. Therefore unable to use the pool. The small grass area was full so therefore could not even put our towels down. I left a pair of shorts behind at the pool which were drying on the day I left. Contacted the hotel three times through their website to let them know so they could be retrieved. No response on each occasion. Called and was never called back. Really disappointed and an utter waste of money. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.

Mixture of spacious, clean apartment and good quality hotel. View was fantastic. Short walk to supermarkets. The plus and negative is a short walk up steps from old town square. This means you get great views and quiet hotel just a 2 min walk. Breakfast was excellent as well.

Great location near Old Town. The resort was spacious with a nice pool. The room we had included a washer which was amazing for my family to do some laundry and was able to hang the clothes to dry on the rack in the large balcony. Definitely would recommend staying here.

Excellent property in the Old Town of Albufeira. Rooms and food are brilliant. Yes there are a lot of steps if you're walking up from the Old Town Square but if you're as fit as me 😎, they're not an issue. A taxi from the old town costs about 3 Euros up the hill so utterly recommended.

Loved our stay. Was the perfect spot, quite enough away from the old town but very accessible when you wanted to go in. There are steps down to the old town so not good if your bad on your feet. Sometimes we got a taxi back and it was only 3 euros, bargain. I would definitely recommend.

Des l'arrivée vous apprendrez que le WiFi est payant et cher, tout comme le coffre fort, ensuite il vous faut une caution pour la serviette. Le petit déjeuner est correct, mais si vous voulez un vrai café c'est en supplément du supplément. Bref, vous êtres constamment réduit à un porte feuil et c'est désagréable. les infrastructures sont correctes mais pour en profiter, il vous faudra en permanence supporter des groupes (hommes seuls en bandes), extrêmement et continuellement bruyants surtout après quelques bières. Sans doute que l'hôtel a un partenariat quelconque.

Mooi, groot hotel bestaande uit meerdere gebouwen met daarbij verschillende zwembaden bij elk gebouw. De appartementen zijn wel verschillend wat betreft locatie en inrichting. wij kregen een appartement wat erg gedateerd en ongezellig was, maar daar wilden we niet blijven en gelukkig daarna een gerenoveerd en beter ingericht appartement. De badkamer was mooi met een grote inloopdouche maar in februari erg koud ! Ook jammer dat het gehorig was maar dat is vaker zo in Portugal Het restaurant was heel goed, vooral de bufetten zijn een aanrader. Ontbijt niet heel uitgebreid maar voldoende keus en je kunt wel extra krijgen als je er om vraagt. Personeel heel vriendelijk en alles netjes en schoon. Wij zouden wel weer boeken maar beter op de locatie van het appartement letten.

CERRO MAR est un appartHotel de qualité. Les studios sont spacieux, propre et très bien équipé (Lave vaiselle, Lave linge, four, cuisinière). La résidence est calme, propre, à 5 minutes à pieds du centre d'ALBUFEIRA. L'accueil et le personnel sont sympas et agréable. Composé de 5 ensemble de batiments, chaque partie a sa propre piscine. Le petit déjeuner est complet, avec toutefois un bemol pour les boissons (Jus, Café, Thé) qui sont de piètre qualité. Super séjour, CERRA MAR est idéal pour rayonner en ALGARVE, parfaitement centrer sur l'ensemble du territoire.
