Great hotel very well located. We stayed 3 nights and will definitely book again for our next trip to Madrid. The only but I’d mention is that the roof top terrace was closed the two times we tried to access it.

Staff at the front desk and dining area were very nice and helpful! The hotel was immaculate and the rooftop lounge areas & other hotel reading areas were really special. The metro was around the corner.

Hotel needs routine maintenance. Wallpaper was separating from wall. Coffee stains where people have spilled down the wall. Carpets in the hallways were stained and in need of care. Housekeeping did a very good job in cleaning what was there, but the maintenance issues are clearly beyond their control. When we checked in, we were told that breakfast was included. When we went to breakfast the next morning we were charged $30. When I checked with the front desk, we were told that their colleague had made a mistake when she told us that we had breakfast included. Also, for a four star hotel, I would have expected someone to help us with our luggage. That didn't happen. In fact, there was a very steep stairway from the lobby to the elevator. Not a great experience.

Our stay in Sardinero was ok the location is in the Alfonso Martinez neighbourhood with the metro right outside. The room was very clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. The reason I give three stars is the bar/restaurant is completely unattended. Each time we sat in for a drink we had to go to reception after 15-20 mins to ask for someone to serve us. They had special menu advertised on a board outside the restaurant, on every single table and on their website for Monday to Friday 1pm - 11pm for €14 for main, dessert and drink. However when we went to order the girl said it was finished at this time…. 5pm on a Monday. False advertising and a way to get full price out of you. We had no other option as we needed to eat as we were heading out to a concert. This was a very disappointing aspect. They should not advertise this if they’re not offering it. I won’t be returning.

El hotel proporciona botellas de agua, té o café gratis en las horas en que el bar está cerrado, la limpieza es muy buena y lo mejor, su ubicacion. El barrio es ideal, nada turistica y la parada de metro en la puerta

Overall a good experience. We booked two rooms for a business trip and it was a really pleasant stay. The rooms are a very good size, the bathrooms generous. Its a very good all round 4* hotel. The bar area was great for 3 of us to hold an impromptu meeting. And the menu of the day was lovely. Only downside is the side of the gym, age of the machines. However they were ok for a quick 30 min workout.

No puede ser que en Bar me digan que si quiero hielos vaya a comprarlos a un minimarket cercano. A mejorar. No hay elevador ni botones para subir al nivel 1

The property was very clean and quiet. The staff were professional and very helpful. The Hotel was central to everything plenty of restaurants in the area and tourists attractions also public transportation. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Madrid.

Hotel is next to a metro station and so you can travel to most parts of the city. The hotel breakfast has good range of options and is nice. The staff are helpful and the rooms are spacious. We had a balcony which was nice. It can be noisy at times because the hotel is situated on a busy plaza

Incredibly stay! The service was great, the location was really convenient and our room was lovely. They rooms are airy and spacious and really well thought out! The shutter doors over the window are genius as they block out all light and sound! The best night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in years. The non slip bathroom floor is really clever too! I would rate this hotel as 10/10 and definitely would stay again/recommend!

Room was very nice, with two balconies that had doors to shut out the light from the street. Staff was extremely helpful, neighborhood was walkable and easy to find places to eat. TV was a little small for the room.

Excelente hotel! El mejor lugar para dormir para nosotros! Es donde mejor descansamos de 5 hoteles diferentes. Cierras las puertas de madera de las ventanas y el ruido y las luces desaparecen. Hemos estado 4-5 veces en El Sardinero por ese mismo motivo

We had one of the Premium rooms with a terrace. The room was spacious, bed was very comfy and the shower was great and well designed - good pressure, plenty of room and well contained (i.e. no risk of water puddle waiting for you as you come out). The amenities were more than adequate. We found the room very quiet (even when facing the main roads below). And I enjoyed my espresso on the terrace in the cold and sunny Winter Madrid. The hotel is very well located, plenty of good spots within 10min walk or the metro station next door). We didn't have the breakfast on site so can't comment there. The staff was very professional and friendly, with special thanks to Alicia for accommodating our various requests on the last day, all with a smile. We would definitely stay there again during our next visit to Madrid.

We loved our stay at Sardinero Madrid! The location was near plenty of restaurants and is walking distance from the shopping at Gran Via. The hotel and rooms were decorated so tastefully. We had a balcony looking out to the fountain! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Our front desk - Gregori - made us feel so welcome. We would easily come back to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the area feels safe, there are dining options around, close to the airport, close to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, like 30 min walk distance from Madrid Centro, not that bad. The hotel has a classic look, breakfast was also good, different options, the terrace is amazing but we only enjoyed it one night. The only thing I would say is that ladies staff at front desk might be a little rude sometimes, expect for a guy that was always willing to help and going the extra mile. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the area feels safe, there are dining options around, close to the airport, close to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, like 30 min walk distance from Madrid Centro, not that bad. The hotel has a classic look, breakfast was also good, different options, the terrace is amazing but we only enjoyed it one night. The only thing I would say is that ladies staff at front desk might be a little rude sometimes, expect for a guy that was always willing to help and going the extra mile. We had one of the Premium rooms with a terrace. The room was spacious, bed was very comfy and the shower was great and well designed - good pressure, plenty of room and well contained (i.e. no risk of water puddle waiting for you as you come out). The amenities were more than adequate. We found the room very quiet (even when facing the main roads below). And I enjoyed my espresso on the terrace in the cold and sunny Winter Madrid. The hotel is very well located, plenty of good spots within 10min walk or the metro station next door). We didn't have the breakfast on site so can't comment there. The staff was very professional and friendly, with special thanks to Alicia for accommodating our various requests on the last day, all with a smile. We would definitely stay there again during our next visit to Madrid.

Everything about this stay was perfect! The people who work here are so kind and helpful, the area so so beautiful and central to everything you would want, the room was one of the nicest we have stayed at, and they even held our bags after check out to make our next trip run smoothly. The hotel was well located in a Plaza with a metro stop on 3 lines. It was a 20 minute walk at most to all the main tourist locations. There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by and a small convenience store across the road for snacks etc.

Excellent location in a smart neighbourhood on the edge of the grittier more bohemian part of the city. It sits literally on the border between the old and the new Madrid where the city expanded beyond its early 19th century limits. A great location to explore on foot with fantastic transportation links also. Cafes and restaurants nearby will please the most demanding. It’s located on a main road but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Great hotel all around. A step only access from reception to the lifts is a reminder that this is a converted appartment building built probably over a 100 years ago. A minor inconvenience that creates a bad first impression. It gets better from there.

La ubicación muy buena, el personal de recepción muy atento y servicial. Solo le faltan batas y pantuflas en el baño y una rampa para subir las maletas en el lobby. Y el servicio de botones. El room service debería ser 24 horas porque solo es de 11 am a 11 pm. Mi habitación premium me encantó sobre todo la vista.

Our stay in Sardinero was ok the location is in the Alfonso Martinez neighbourhood with the metro right outside. The room was very clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. The reason I give three stars is the bar/restaurant is completely unattended. Each time we sat in for a drink we had to go to reception after 15-20 mins to ask for someone to serve us. They had special menu advertised on a board outside the restaurant, on every single table and on their website for Monday to Friday 1pm - 11pm for €14 for main, dessert and drink. However when we went to order the girl said it was finished at this time…. 5pm on a Monday. False advertising and a way to get full price out of you. We had no other option as we needed to eat as we were heading out to a concert. This was a very disappointing aspect. They should not advertise this if they’re not offering it. I won’t be returning.

An amazing hotel with everything you need for a comfortable stay away from home. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean and elegant. Room service was exceptional. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and had many offerings. Five stars!

I requested a corner room….. they gave us one. I asked for extra pillows and we were offered a “pillow menu” to select our preference. The breakfast was ample with various choices to suit all tastes. Scrambled eggs let it down ( overcooked) And felt it was missing an Alpen or muesli/ bran type cereal but otherwise we were happy. Great coffee machine 👍
