This hotel was wonderful. Rooms were very clean, and such attention to detail. Local artwork throughout, we loved the dimmer switches in the room and bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, room stayed cool, room darkening shades. The self parking garage is directly next to the hotel. And across the street is the subway to take you into downtown - it couldn't be more convenient. We did not use the restaurant in the hotel but ate dinner one night at a great Iltalian restaurant just down the block called Mecurio - absolutely delicious pastas, pizza, Caesar salad was great, friendly server named Jill. This hotel had a complimentary wine hour at 5pm each night. Happy to stay here again.

Great, central location. Nice, modern rooms, complimentary coffee in the mornings and wine hour in the evenings. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we returned to Toronto. An excellent stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect location next to Subway. Complimentary coffee was nice touch. Room clean and lobby was cozy. Valet was quick, friendly and fast.

Our stay was very positive - easy to pull right up to unload/valet our vehicle, doorman very friendly, easy and friendly check in, they accept dogs with no additional fee. Room was very clean & comfortable - great bed, blackout blind, marble bathroom, strong AC. No coffee maker in room but offered in lobby starting 7am. Pub in hotel was good. Walkable to tons of attractions, restaurants and shopping. About a 20 min walk to casa Loma.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the little lobby was very relaxing. Complimentary morning coffee by the fire was lovely. Also the gym was great. Overall a super nice stay and I'd definitely return.

Amazing fitness room!

Location was great. Though parking was paid and not free it was very convenient as the elevator went right into the parking garage itself. Room was very quiet and beds super comfy.

Nice hotel in a convenient location. Staff was friendly. We discovered an unclean bathroom upon check in, and quietly informed the front desk of this on our way out for the evening, and came back and the bathroom was only marginally cleaner. This was disappointing given the cost of the hotel, and the subsequent concerns about cleanliness elsewhere.

The property was nice. We loved the style and decor. The room was clean-ish. Aside from the bathroom grout needing to be scrubbed and a weird creamy white stain on the couch (that we covered with a towel), the room appeared to be clean. Nice restaurants and tons of shopping places about a 15minute walk in one direction. We had great meals in the area. Very close to Uni of Toronto. Staff was great. The attached restaurant was good too. We ate there for breakfast and had late night drinks at the bar. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

My stay at the Kimpton Saint George was very disappointing. The first room I was given had stained bedding. When I called down, staff moved me to a second room, which wasn’t much better—dirty walls, dust and chalk-like particles on the table, and even half-used alcohol bottles left in the fridge. Hallways and walls throughout the property were chipped and scuffed, giving the hotel a worn, ‘fake luxury’ feel. When I raised these issues, I said I would wait in the restaurant until a clean room was ready. I was told to order whatever I liked and charge it to my room, and that it would be comped. However, when staff later informed me the room was ready, they also told me the meal would only be half covered. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor upkeep, and inconsistent service, the experience was far below the standard expected of a Kimpton property.

Very clean! Comfortable bed, bedding, and pillows. Food was excellent, love the anticipation of guest needs and the friendliness of staff. The morning coffee and evening wine for guests was also a nice touch! Fantastic location with a lot of nearby restaurants, the ROM, and royal conservatory! Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is run down. Scratched scuffs marks ripped wallpaper etc.

Great location, comfortable beds, commendable service. While I generally found the decor pleasing, the bathroom tile was stylish, but had deep grooves that looked like they retained mold/mildew. Shower & nearby floor could use a deep clean.

Hotel was in a good location close to U of T and subway. Comfortable but starting to look a bit tired.

The staff were fantastic, great welcome when we arrived (with the added treat of a complimentary glass of wine), super friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable and well appointed.

We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and it was very spacious and beautifully laid out. Our TV did not work for the first two nights, but it was not a big deal. It was fixed on the 3rd day.

Basic Amenities should be available in the room. I find myself asking for basic stuff to be taken to the room and room service never picked up the phone. Also food could be better

I’ve stayed at a lot of Kimpton properties, and after my stay at the Saint George, I can confidently say that this Kimpton is my favorite one. The location is great, close to Bloor Street and a few museums and gardens. A+ for visitors visiting the university. Upon our arrival at valet, the attendant was really helpful. Parking was reasonable and easy, despite the construction going on in the street currently. Then we had an excellent experience at the front desk. Although there was a wedding going on, and the lobby was crowded, we felt welcomed and important. We were traveling with our dogs and we were even given a free gift for our pups at check in via a partnership that the hotel had. Impressive! We originally booked a King room but upgraded to a one-bedroom suite at check-in. It was so worth it. Our room faced the street, but it was really quiet. The room has a bar area, where we were able to sit and eat, and a comfortable sofa (I think it turned into a sofa bed but we didn’t utilize it) in the main area. It was really spacious, which we appreciated. The bedroom was equally spacious, with a comfortable bed and comfortable sheets. The bathroom had an enormous bathtub - which was the highlight. The only thing that was disappointing was the water pressure for the shower head. Lastly, the service was top-notch. I was very impressed at the attentiveness of the staff. We needed a few things from them, and they always delivered with a great hospitable attitude.

The hotel was very accommodating. We were able to check in early and check out late. The extras were a nice touch. It's a very central location with great amenities around . The staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Booked a suite. Wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5pm. No solution offered until I complained.

The Manager of Guest Services was excellent and helps us with all the questions we had.

I was only there for one night, but the service was phenomenal and they were very accommodating!

Great hotel in a great area, close to the subway. Currently a lot of construction on Bloor St. so some blocked sidewalks and roads are to be expected.

Room service service was great, but the food itself didn’t match the cost to the quality. Coffee was awful. Bar drinks were really good though.

Valet car was terrific! Hotel front desk guy was very tired and reserved. Attached restaurant had bad coffee and unhappy wait staff. Overall good but not sure worth the high price of the room.

Overall we enjoyed the facilities but our dinner at the restaurant in the hotel was not good.

From the front desk to b’fast restaurant not ordering my food for 29 mins then having to leave. Paying five star service for at best two stars. Won’t be back.

Wonderful dog friendly property. Staff is great from reception to valet to room attendants; room was very clean. Pass on the restaurant however. Food was mediocre at best and service was awful.

Loud noises in building at night. Restaurant paid for a bottle of wine before a show, waited 30 minutes to get it, late for our show and didn't have time to finish the bottle. SLOW

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. Room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. On site parking made life easy. Nearby shops and dining were walkable. Attached restaurant had great food and was convenient on rainy days. Highly recommend.

Rooms are dark with old furniture. Not the usual Kimpton experience. Food at restaurant fine but limited menu and expensive.

Appreciated flexibility on the late check out; loved ROM proximity. I would return assuming it remained affordable comparable to expected service, atmosphere. Breakfast (basic eggs, toast, sausage, bacon, potatoes) on Sunday (10:30am) in hotel restaurant took almost 20 minutes from time we ordered to be being served and it wasn’t crowded.
