Quick overnight stop on a road trip. Hotel was very modern, with excellent facilities, but the parking is almost non-existent. Valet only. If you have a vehicle larger than an SUV, there may be an issue. Breakfast looked gourmet, and was expensive.

I came to this hotel to check out High Bar and not have to drive. Upon booking the room there was no mention that it was closed nor any mention of it upon checking in. I only found out about it when I asked. The lounge on the first floor didn't offer much to eat and the one basic drink that i ordered wasn't good at all. The rooms felt really small to me. Maybe I was placed in the wrong type (I paid for the one that sleeps 4). There were no black out curtains so I couldn't even sleep in. Someone next to me or above me wore heels that sounded like tap shoes anyway so I may not have been able to sleep anyway. I also discovered that I could see into someone elses room because again there are no curtains and I would guess that they could see into mine. No peace or privacy just a waste of money.

Room was new and clean. 11th floor bar was fun. Breakfast was good and supposed to be included but I had to ask twice to make that happen. Parking does cost extra. I would stay here again, overall it was a good experience.

I thought the rooms and common areas were super nice. The location is a bit difficult to access, it's essentially a one way street once you turn in. Valet parking is the only easy option, though there are a couple paid lots nearby. However, we learned on our own that the public lot two blocks away allowed free overnight parking on nights and weekends. It was not mentioned to us as an option when inquiring at the desk. One "feature" of the room was a nightlight just inside the room. Apparently it is motion activated, so if you move around in bed the light will randomly come on. It's surprising just how bright it can be in the middle of the night. The hallway and rooms themselves were very quiet. A few feet outside the property's main entrance, outside the bar area and within the valet lane was an outdoor garbage can overflowing with trash. There was also food that had been spilled across the sidewalk. I mentioned it to the person at the front desk and was told that it is the responsibility of the city, so they couldn't do anything. I suggested that maybe they could clean it up anyway, but they didn't. So, if you don't mind walking through garbage, everything looks good inside.

When I booked this property it told me free parking but we had to pay for parking and the garage was kinda gross and if you’re not an experienced driver it’s kinda confusing to get to the parking garage. But other than that, the staff was so nice and it was very very clean

Nice hotel. Parking is an extra $33 charge. We thought breakfast is included. Nope, extra $18 per person. We ended up going to Southwest Diner. Sooo good! Couple of hairs in shower but other than that, it felt very clean. Location was good.

Beautiful clean modern room. We were upgraded to a corner room. The hotel has a bar but we were too tired to visit. The room had 2 small complementary water bottles and coffee. I would have give 5 stars but the soap dispenser was empty in the shower and the sink did not drain properly. I forgot mention to front desk as this was a spare of the moment trip and I didn’t feel like complaining. The kind size bed was really firm. Lots of seating in the room as well. Breakfast offered but I didn’t check out as I wanted to sleep in

10th floor rooms facing the main road side are very noisy during night time. You can only get to sleep after midnight. I would never take any room on the 10th floor, ever, if I stay again. But it is not likely I will stay here again.

The hotel was nice, the town was cute and close to everything. The bed was comfortable. I gave it 4 stars because, the bathroom door is glass and was too easy to hear everything and not much privacy if you have more than one person staying in the room. We had another room attached to us, and the kids next door tried to come in our room and played with door knob/we'd hear them cry at night. Online it promotes the upstairs balcony/restaurant. We thought we would have access to it in the am/whenever we want, but it was closed during the day, only open at 4pm and completely separate business from the hotel, we tried to go up and eat dinner there one night, and our teenager could not enter with us past 8pm. Hubby and I did eventually go there for a drink and appetizers, but it was so full we didn't get to sit outside on balcony, that area seating is limited. If you're like us and wanting a hotel where there is an area to sit and enjoy with your family or just relax, this isn't the hotel. Other then that, the hotel was nice.

We had a good stay, but the temperature of the room was hard to regulate and the mattress was on the hard side. Had to use a parking garage so an added expense. The walls are thin so you heard a lot of noise from neighboring rooms.

My family was traveling from Pensacola, FL to Minneapolis, MN this past weekend. On Saturday we agreed to drive until we couldn't drive anymore. We booked a room in St Louis and made our way there. Upon arrival I was told that I had reserved for the following weekend. We were all exhausted and now didn't know what to do. Shyra was at the front desk and she was amazing. She kept mom (me) calm and helped us work with Expedia to change the room to that night. What could have ended as a terrible evening ended up being one of the best hotel experiences of the trip. My 10 year old daughter talked about how nice she was and how much she liked her every time we walked past the desk until the moment we left. To top it off, she made sure we were fed the next morning with breakfast. Shyra, I hope you see this. Know that you made a huge difference for us on our trip home and we appreciate you. Have fun in Wisconsin dells!

Fantastic room.....except we were placed by the dumpster/ parking garage so we got 0 sleep because people kept using the dumpster or were in the parking garage being lound. Better be ready for the rude old lady doing the valet. I had 0 issues parking my car with a polite young man...but my wife showed up after me she was told "I dont care" when my wife said I already was upstairs, tried giving her our room number. It did not matter she refused to put away my wifes car. My wife eventually found a place to park, I then hear about it, and call to ask whats going on, and the hotel offered to validate my wifes parking in a garage.

My main take away was the afternoon staff, in particular, an Alexander. He was kind along with the ability to go beyond with his generosity. He even remembered my name after an encounter. Impressive.

Great location, amazing and friendly staff, even the valet was wonderful. My only note is making it clearer on their partner website that parking is not free. But they were so kind it was really no issue.

The valet is the first and the last person to be seen on this property. He did not look up from his phone for anyone. Did not say hello or goodbye to any guests. Not a great representation of the hotel. The staff behind the desk were great.

The service and friendliness was 100 percent. It’s downtown in between office buildings. Not a lot around. Block up there were more restaurants. Not a lot going on right around it. I felt safe alone.

I thought the rooms and common areas were super nice. The location is a bit difficult to access, it's essentially a one way street once you turn in. Valet parking is the only easy option, though there are a couple paid lots nearby. However, we learned on our own that the public lot two blocks away allowed free overnight parking on nights and weekends. It was not mentioned to us as an option when inquiring at the desk. One "feature" of the room was a nightlight just inside the room. Apparently it is motion activated, so if you move around in bed the light will randomly come on. It's surprising just how bright it can be in the middle of the night. The hallway and rooms themselves were very quiet. A few feet outside the property's main entrance, outside the bar area and within the valet lane was an outdoor garbage can overflowing with trash. There was also food that had been spilled across the sidewalk. I mentioned it to the person at the front desk and was told that it is the responsibility of the city, so they couldn't do anything. I suggested that maybe they could clean it up anyway, but they didn't. So, if you don't mind walking through garbage, everything looks good inside.

Quick overnight stop on a road trip. Hotel was very modern, with excellent facilities, but the parking is almost non-existent. Valet only. If you have a vehicle larger than an SUV, there may be an issue. Breakfast looked gourmet, and was expensive.

Our quick trip was made comfortable with this as our lodging choice. The property was clean, the rooms were a decent size (and aesthetically pleasing if that matters). We had a smooth check in and very helpful (and personable) interactions with customer service reps. My issue was we selected this hotel because it’s family friendly and the room I booked was to come with a crib. There wasn’t a crib in the room and when I tried to call the front desk with the in-room phone, it didn’t work. The food is also pricey compared to the small portion you receive. Luckily there were decent food options around if you don’t want to partake in the onsite dining options. It definitely deserves its 9/10 rating though.

I came to this hotel to check out High Bar and not have to drive. Upon booking the room there was no mention that it was closed nor any mention of it upon checking in. I only found out about it when I asked. The lounge on the first floor didn't offer much to eat and the one basic drink that i ordered wasn't good at all. The rooms felt really small to me. Maybe I was placed in the wrong type (I paid for the one that sleeps 4). There were no black out curtains so I couldn't even sleep in. Someone next to me or above me wore heels that sounded like tap shoes anyway so I may not have been able to sleep anyway. I also discovered that I could see into someone elses room because again there are no curtains and I would guess that they could see into mine. No peace or privacy just a waste of money.

I was a decent place to stay, having a rooftop bar and a breakfast buffet in the details prior to Booking, is what sealed the deal. The continental breakfast @ $18 was not something I did not realize it stated that. Only one of the restaurants was open and it only had a few choices.

Room was new and clean. 11th floor bar was fun. Breakfast was good and supposed to be included but I had to ask twice to make that happen. Parking does cost extra. I would stay here again, overall it was a good experience.

The service was great! A fast and easy check in was a great way to start our time at the hotel after a busy day. We ate at the roof top bar and restaurant and it was amazing, the food and drinks were so delicious and the staff was great!! The room got a little warm as we were unpacking and setting up for the night but it was nice to use the thermostat in our room to make the temperature perfect.

Among several signs that this fairly new hotel isn’t being properly maintained, When I brought this up they compensated admirably by putting me in a top floor room. So speak up if you think they are taking hotel.com bookings for granted.

The street in front of the hotel was closed for resurfacing and the noise and stink from the work lasted all day through 11pm! No price discount was offered. I paid extra for a quiet room on the corner and was given a room directly under a bar and restaurant that was open through the night. This is in the St. Louis metro area with 95% fiber optic coverage but they used a cheaper dish network that went out when a storm passed through. The tvs hdmi port didn't work. This is yet another well built hotel that is being run on the cheap. IMHO not nearly worth the price I paid.
