I recently stayed at Spark Hilton Longview for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were welcoming and professional. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable desk for work and a plush bed for relaxing at the end of the day. I also enjoyed the fitness center, which had plenty of equipment for a good workout. I would definitely recommend Spark Hilton Longview for both business and leisure travelers.

Until the last minute of our stay this would have been a 4 star with a less than 5 star due to the elevator being out for our whole stay on the 4th floor. But what caused it to go to three and according to my spouse should have been a one star review we received a phone call from external pretending to be the hotel manager asking for credit card data. When the front desk was informed of that we were told "Oh yeah this has been happening for a while." As someone who works in Cyber Security and used to do Project Management for IT infrastructure for hotels all over the nation this is a shock to hear. I know personally how easy this is to resolve and mitigate against. This is a significantly bad liability for the hotel, hotel brand and the loyal guests. This is unforgivable and needs to be addressed ASAP.

The room had an odd smell. The AC was good. The microwave looked dirty and outdated. There was a spider and a roach in the room. The bed looked clean. Learning how to use the WiFi was difficult as I had to look it up online. Customer Service was great. The entrance look dangerous as there is a giant slope by the front. Kids above my room kept stomping, which I heard at night. The bathroom door closes automatically, which is not great if you want the door open.

We enjoyed our stay, Fri night arrival at 7p ish wasn't horrible. We checked in and went to eat at the Mighty Crab. Totally recommended!! All was well.. Saturday night we apparently had children above us that sounded odd BUFFALO!! They were running out wrestling or something. We did call the front desk sub was a male who seemed to try and correct it. Needles to say, clean, comfy rooms. Pool needed a cleaning but nice, room was clean but BEWARE The water will SCOLD YOU, IT'S HOT VERY HOT IN THE ROOMS.... Backwards assignments of hot water in the tub..... Very HELPFUL STAFF, ULTIMATELY WE ENJOYED OUR STAY!!

Where do I start -we wernt able to check on time because they wernt ready - sent me to someone else’s room - took 40 mins to get that situated. During that time I was sent to a second room that was dirty still. The - room they sent me to AC wouldn’t go below 76, when I told the front desk lady she said “of they do that sometimes” (never went under 75 at all) - went down to ask for a “do not disturb sign” since they sent me to the wrong room I wanted one for my door just Incase. The same lady then told me “ that doesn’t happen here” not realizing it was me she did that to a hour before. When I brought that up she said “that wasn’t my fault, besides we don’t have those signs” she then told me she could get me a “pet sign” but they were out. I walked off annoyed only to see 5 doors on my hallway with the “ do not disturb” sign. - I had to have 5 sets of keys reset because they kept deactivating, even the one we kept left in the room as a back up. - the area infront of the elevator had sticky stuff on the ground for the 3 days we were there. - the hot water was out at the lobby tea cart. I let the clerk know right away. She just said “thanks for letting her know” then waited until we had grabbed a water bottle and heated up water in the microwave for the tea in the lobby before offering to fill the hot water. (Watched us the whole time) - took my bag out of ny rom at 11:25 when check out was at 12, cleaning lady said she didn’t see it, as it was on her cart beside her

We only stayed 1 night. Elevator was broken. Had to climb stairs which was ok except I have a lot of pain on my foot. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. People above had kids that were doing gymnastics off the furniture from What it sounded like. Very annoying at 10 p when you’re trying to sleep. Breakfast SUCKS! Bagels, yogurt, muffins! That’s it

Other than the cricket infestation in the first two rooms they gave us the third was way better. Had a weird carpet cleaner smell but other than it was bug free thankfully!! We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I paid good money to basically stay at a rave. As soon as we walked in there was a strong marijuana odor and it did not go away. I stayed on the 3rd floor and had to listen to loud music all night. The smell filled the hotel and we could not get away from it. I had children with me and had to do some explaining on the smell. It was not a safe environment for a family to stay and we woke up as early as possible to get out of there. It was just too much and I wish we had stayed elsewhere.

This is an old hotel that got some paint in July and rebrand to a Spark, it is dark, dreary, and we had lady bugs flying all over the place in our room. We had 2 towels, 2 pillows per that were just ok, missing foot moldings around the bathroom. I was so disappointed in myself to stay here. I went to the Dillards up the street and bought a nest candle so I could sleep. I had an old home once that got a lady bug infestation and they leave behind a very distinctive odor.

Hotel has just been redone, and room is nice, property is slightly difficult to get to, due to location on the loop. But not bad. Had to wait several minutes to get checked in due to no front desk help, or attendant. Check out was same, just left key. Breakfast advertised is not breakfast, coffee, a bagel, and mini chocolate muffins is not breakfast.

Until the last minute of our stay this would have been a 4 star with a less than 5 star due to the elevator being out for our whole stay on the 4th floor. But what caused it to go to three and according to my spouse should have been a one star review we received a phone call from external pretending to be the hotel manager asking for credit card data. When the front desk was informed of that we were told "Oh yeah this has been happening for a while." As someone who works in Cyber Security and used to do Project Management for IT infrastructure for hotels all over the nation this is a shock to hear. I know personally how easy this is to resolve and mitigate against. This is a significantly bad liability for the hotel, hotel brand and the loyal guests. This is unforgivable and needs to be addressed ASAP.

Where do I start -we wernt able to check on time because they wernt ready - sent me to someone else’s room - took 40 mins to get that situated. During that time I was sent to a second room that was dirty still. The - room they sent me to AC wouldn’t go below 76, when I told the front desk lady she said “of they do that sometimes” (never went under 75 at all) - went down to ask for a “do not disturb sign” since they sent me to the wrong room I wanted one for my door just Incase. The same lady then told me “ that doesn’t happen here” not realizing it was me she did that to a hour before. When I brought that up she said “that wasn’t my fault, besides we don’t have those signs” she then told me she could get me a “pet sign” but they were out. I walked off annoyed only to see 5 doors on my hallway with the “ do not disturb” sign. - I had to have 5 sets of keys reset because they kept deactivating, even the one we kept left in the room as a back up. - the area infront of the elevator had sticky stuff on the ground for the 3 days we were there. - the hot water was out at the lobby tea cart. I let the clerk know right away. She just said “thanks for letting her know” then waited until we had grabbed a water bottle and heated up water in the microwave for the tea in the lobby before offering to fill the hot water. (Watched us the whole time) - took my bag out of ny rom at 11:25 when check out was at 12, cleaning lady said she didn’t see it, as it was on her cart beside her

The Sparks hotel itself was great and Shelley at the front desk was very helpful. The room above sounded like kids were jumping up and down, slamming things onto the floor, and was very loud for a couple of hours. Finally, at ten o’clock, I texted Shelley and asked for her help. Ten minutes later, all was quiet and we were able to sleep. Kudos to Shelley!

The room had an odd smell. The AC was good. The microwave looked dirty and outdated. There was a spider and a roach in the room. The bed looked clean. Learning how to use the WiFi was difficult as I had to look it up online. Customer Service was great. The entrance look dangerous as there is a giant slope by the front. Kids above my room kept stomping, which I heard at night. The bathroom door closes automatically, which is not great if you want the door open.

We only stayed 1 night. Elevator was broken. Had to climb stairs which was ok except I have a lot of pain on my foot. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. People above had kids that were doing gymnastics off the furniture from What it sounded like. Very annoying at 10 p when you’re trying to sleep. Breakfast SUCKS! Bagels, yogurt, muffins! That’s it

The hotel is very nice and clean! The lady that checked us in was super sweet and the checkout was smooth! The room was comfortable and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well! We only stayed one night but it was very comfortable and we would definitely stay again! Only minor complaint was breakfast was basic but had a selection of different breads, some gravy coffee and a couple juices. Great for a quick on the go breakfast but would of loved some sausage/eggs etc…
