Fantastic stay here, quiet and comfortable room looking out on vineyards. Owners and their son were the most gracious of hosts. The meals in the evening were delicious and made with locally sourced ingredients. Lots of variety at breakfast. Totally recommend.

Lovely and kind family run casa that is neat and clean with amazing home cooked meals that are worth experiencing. The entire family were wonderfully helpful and arranged port and wine visits and recommended amazing hikes with incredible views for us. Pool was under maintenance during our visit.

Loved our stay at Casa Dona Edite. The rooms were very clean and modern. The owners Antonio and Cristina were the most amazing hosts. The dinner option they offer is a must. The homemade food they prepared was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for the great advice on what to do and see in the Douro Valley it was much appreciated. We highly recommend this guesthouse if you stay in the Douro.

We loved staying at Casa Dona Edite! It’s a tastefully decorated, modern guesthouse and the owners, Antonio and Cristina and their son, Eduardo are the perfect hosts. Cristina is an excellent Cook and baker, and we strongly recommend to have your dinner meals there. She also bakes loaves and cakes as part of the breakfast offerings. Well worth the drive up the hill to stay at their place!
