Stayed overnight and check in as normal. Room ok for the money but sink in en suite broken in the bowl with a bad repair having been done. This meant the sinkwaate plug didn't work meaning you couldn't fill the sink to retain the water in it which for me is important. Bar and restaurant quality and service good and on par with this star of hotel. My big disappointment was the charge for their car park which i couldn't see a charge would apply in the booking details. Im staying in the hotel so where am I supposed to park if not in their car park, so whatever the price has been paid for the room you have to add on car parking fees, which to me is a rip off.i also have a blue badge and although i managed to get the last disabled parking bay I still had to pay which was £20 for one night. When i challenged this at check in I was informed the car park was operated by a company not associated with the hotel so charges apply irrespective of being disabled or not. Total rip off.....probably wont go back to that hotel again because of that.

Plenty of car parking, unlike most other hotels at Manchester Airport. All staff were very friendly and competent. Room was a decent size and bed was really comfy but the shower was woefully weak. Breakfast was OK but was missing some of the usual ingredients you'd expect on a full English. Free shuttle to/from airport was handy too.

Not been back since renovation. We Ate in the bar because menu was better for us, food was nice. Room not too bad smaller bathroom but sis not matter. Downside was the cost for getting the shuttle to terminal which was £3.95pp which I thought was quite a lot especially since they used to provide this service free to guests.

The hotel is quite run down, old and in need of money spent on it. Dust everywhere. The rooms are tired with shower curtains falling down. Very hard bed with only one pillow each in a double room. One bath towel, one hand towel, one water glass - are they only really catering for one person? The hotel was full of children and teenagers who were there fir a football tournament - no sign of any adukts as they ran riot around the hotel. Woken at 6.30am by peooke talking loudly to each other in the corridors.

Didn’t have breakfast due to early start. Room was spacious. King size double and double sofa bed. Both very comfortable. Very clean with attractive contemporary decor. 5 minute walk to T3. Would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and fine for the night. It was a little on the warm side as windows open 2” and don’t allow air to circulate and the thermostat did t seem to adjust the room temperature. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating!

Recently refurbished so hotel in a very good condition. Comfy rooms with large tv and LOTS of plug and USB points. Friendly staff and a great breakfast for £12.50. Would definitely recommend.

Room clean, but frustrating that the bathroom door is situated so close to the loo. Shower was also incredibly weak. Breakfast was very tasty. Walk to the hotel to the hotel was made dufficult due to poor path maintenance.

Stayed over due to an early flight out of Manchester in the morning. You know you're a captive audience and have little in the way of variation or access to other services than the hotel so you have to suck it up. Room size - compact but functional for a one night sleepover. Also quite quiet if the windows are shut even though you're in the airport flight path. Don't sleep with the windows open however - no sleep would be possible. Bathroom - small - shoulders were touching wall and sink when on the toilet. Quite uncomfortable. Hotel itself - clean and tidy. Hotel restaurant - as always, slightly pricier than other local pubs, but the food was really good. Room air con - set to Antartic level and didn't seem to be changable - Just turn it off or you'll wake up an icicle...

Room was clean. Unfortunately it was next to the lift which was noisy. Didn’t get much sleep. We ordered food from the bar to take to our room. Waitress was not happy we asked for sauce as if it was an inconvenience!! Food was quite good. This hotel is good for terminals 1&3. More of a trek for terminal 2!

It was easy to check in and we had a nice dinner in the restaurant. Our flight was cancelled so we had to book an extra day and the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. They even provided us a free voucher for breakfast this morning to help ease some of the inconvenience of our flight cancellation.

No one answering the phones so we couldn't get in touch with hotel for the shuttle bus. We were going from one terminal to another. In the end we had to get a taxi for £12. Which only took 5mins. You need someone answering the phone we were shattered when we managed to get to your hotel. Never again. Thank you.

Arrived from our flight at 9:30pm. Told restaurants closed at 10pm. Made it to the restaurant at 9:50pm to be told we would have to hurry up and choose what we wanted because the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. Then it took 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Not the professional way of greeting paying customers, when you are an airport hotel with people arriving 24 hours a day. Despite the unprofessional restaurant greeting, the food was delicious. Also Daniel who checked us in the hotel was very friendly, personable and helpful.

Check in experience was awful. Took more than 20 minutes for what should have been a quick and smooth transaction. I am unsure if the staff member was new or just did not know what they were doing ! Not something you want after a long day travelling . Having stayed at the hotel a week earlier the check in process was quick and easy so now idea why this was so difficult ! Very frustrating. The rooms however , are clean and modern and the overall stay was fine. Breakfast was pretty good quality. Staff seemed to be in short supply so service was a little dim .

Just a quick one nighter on the way to Croatia. We were greeted by Dan., what a superstar. He couldnt do enough for us. Room was great as expected for CP anf yhe bar staff were really helpful too. Top class customer service.

This was a comfortable hotel in walking distance to the airport terminals 1 & 3. A shuttle for a mini Al coat runs between the hotel and terminal 2. The service was very good and it was great to have a drink and light meal in the bar. Overall a good stay.

Quick & easy check in, room clean & staff friendly. Only issue was hotel is not well sign posted from station, not as easy as other hotels to get too.

The location is super convenient being close to the airport and car rental. Check-in was easy and the room is small but comfortable.

The hotel was not worth the money, and the whole place required a renovation. The shuttle service to Manchester Terminal 2 is unreliable despite a recommendation from the Hotel. The description on your website is deceiving because it should specify that terminal 2 is a 20-minute walk and terminal 1 is 5 minutes. I would not have booked this hotel if this was clearer.

This was my first time staying at the Crowne Plaza hotel. It was a short stay before we went on holiday. The hotel was lovely, relaxed and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite. Food was very good and the breakfast buffet was excellent, even for someone like me who doesn't always eat breakfast. If I flew from Manchester Airport again I would choose Crowne Plaza to stay again.

I don't think I've ever experienced such friendly and cheerful staff as at this hotel! The room was great, too - got a free upgrade, which was certainly nice. Very comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast, too. They only slight downside was kind of lackluster water pressure in the shower. Otherwise nothing to complain about!

Immaculately clean, really nice room, bathroom fixtures and fittings were lovely too. Booked a premium room with club lounge, which was great value, the only thing that let it down for me was the alcohol range( which i tend to find everywhere i go) whether it be airport lounges, all inclusive hols etc...i only drink dissaranno, baileys and malibu ...NOT everyone drinks vodka, gin and lager. However it certainly would'nt put me off staying again. I had a selection of hot and soft drinks along with snacks so was happy overall. Cannot comment on breakfast as we had an early flight so unfortunately was unable to sample that. Oh and lastly shuttle to terminal was extra cost too.

Arrived from our flight at 9:30pm. Told restaurants closed at 10pm. Made it to the restaurant at 9:50pm to be told we would have to hurry up and choose what we wanted because the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. Then it took 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Not the professional way of greeting paying customers, when you are an airport hotel with people arriving 24 hours a day. Despite the unprofessional restaurant greeting, the food was delicious. Also Daniel who checked us in the hotel was very friendly, personable and helpful.

Marie was really helpful during checking giving us instructions on how to get to the hotel from the terminals. All the staff were really friendly and the hotel was clean. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had a huge variety . There were extra options as well like omelettes and American pancakes. I would definitely stay in the hotel again!

Overnight stay for an early flight (like most, I assume). Had a good night's sleep and a great meal in the evening, burgers were not the cheapest but they were big and flavoursome. Hotel was much like any other, but the staff were helpful and friendly, and when we explained we were on our honeymoon they gave us vouchers for 2 free drinks, which was a nice touch.

Our flight was as delayed so we didn’t get to the hotel till 5.30 am. But we were glad of a bed for a couple of hours and a shower. Also booked the breakfast when we arrived which was nice. Check in/out was good. Friendly staff. It is a bit of a walk from terminal 2 but there is a shuttle bus but we were that tired from the journey that I forgot the times they ran. So we jumped in at taxi for £2 more than we would have paid for the bus. We used the shuttle bus to get to the train station later that morning. Would use hotel again.

Booked for the 5th of August. Returning from holiday. Very tired. After 4 and half hr bus journey. Add the flight. To find no sign of our booking. Despite getting it confirmed. They had us in on the 1st of September.. It took ages to sort it out. I had to go through e mails. To provide proof. My husband was so stressed he has had cancer. So tires easily. Not good !!
