Excellent hotel for quality of service and amenities. Well maintained condition , very clean. Lovely garden area to relax and use the pool. We travelled by train and only down side was the steep uphill walk to get to the hotel from station. Only 10 mins but hard going with luggage. Hotel provided a free public bus ticket on check in which was great for getting around the local area.

We took a quick overnight to Locarno from our Italy vacation and I’m so glad we did!! The room was comfortable and clean the view awesome. Gut geführtes und modernes Hotel mit moderner Kunst. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen ! Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut und aufmerksam, schöne Weinkarte. Locarno ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar und sehr ruhig gelegen, hatten ein Zimmer im Haupthaus zuoberst mit Aussicht auf den See.

Cela est ma deuxième réservation avec hôtel.com et il n’y a rien à redire, c’est un très bon site de réservation. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait ! L’hôtel, les prestations, l’emplacement… étaient à la hauteur de nos attentes. La plupart du temps, grâce au funiculaire qui se trouve juste à côté de l’hôtel, nous n’avions pas besoin de nous déplacer en voiture. La vue de notre chambre était juste exceptionnel! Cependant, les prix dans l’ensemble sont très élevés partout (CHF 9.- pour la bouteille d’eau 1l et beaucoup d’extras pour les excursions). Mais n’oublions pas que c’est la Suisse, il faut avoir conscience que tout est très cher dans ce pays. 😉

Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen. Guter Service, kleines Grotto beim Pool, gutes Club-Sandwich…und genügend P aussen und in Garage. Ideal gelegen, in 10 Minuten auf der Piazza. Bei Konzerten läuft die Zahnradbahn bis 24.30 Uhr. Erste Station Hotel! Reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Ein tolles, zentrumnahes Hotel, sehr gut geführt, freundliches Personal. Der neue Wellness Bereich sehr schön, schade, dass der Saunabereich Textilfrei nicht eingehalten wird. Das Restaurant La Fontana ist sehr gut !

We took a quick overnight to Locarno from our Italy vacation and I’m so glad we did!! The room was comfortable and clean the view awesome. The staff friendly and helpful especially in the restaurant and bar. Also the food top notch from aperitif to dinner and breakfast best we have had in Europe so far!!!

Schön grosse Zimmer, die viel Platz bieten. Das Personal sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und auch hier wird jeder Wunsch umgehend erfüllt.

Lovely lake-facing room with a wonderful view. Comfortable bed. Spacious shower with lots of hot water. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to the convent and funicular. The walk back up from town could be a bit challenging for older or unfit people, but we enjoyed it.
