Breakfast was good, room comfortable. One day we were without hot water and were offered to go to the sister hotel for a shower if required. We were told that the hot water was back on later in the day but when we came to have a shower, there was none coming through. I rang reception and was told that the maintenance would be right there. I ran the hot water taps in the bathroom basins on full for 15 minutes no hot water so I rang again to be told to hold on while they checked with maintenance. I was cut off and nobody rang back so I went down to reception and while there, they rang maintenance who told them that they would be right there. 15 minutes later I went down again and asked what was going on and after they found where maintenance were working, they sent a porter to get them to go to our room. He did turn up and told us that we needed to turn the shower and bath and basins on hot fully open. We got hot water. Wouldn’t it have been easier for the maintenance to tell reception this. I asked for a complaint form but was told that they would tell the manager. We got no call from the manager at all and we were staying for another two days. By the time we got the hot water we had missed our reservation time at the restaurant.
