The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. I look for spaces near the water with chairs. They have a large pool area. The rooms are dated, but fine. Opportunities are coffee in the room or at least accessible via a thermos for early risers, the food is just OK with limited local options. The beach towel policy is that you pay if you want to switch out your towel, which they are to replace every 3rd day. We had to ask for ours to be replaced. Bring your own portable water bottle.

Our trip was so so. The bad: the hotel does not have an elevator, thus a bad choice for the handicap and elderly. My wife and I are 70 and we had to climb up and down 60 steps to go from our room to the restaurant and beach. Unfortunately this resort is on a busy street and the bus drivers are honking their horns a lot so it if it was not for noise of the air conditioner we would have had a hard time sleeping.The beach is a nice beach but the weather was bad when we were there and the seaweed was a foot thick by 20 ft wide to walk thru to get into the ocean. This would have been tolerable if the hotel would have raked a path to the water everday, but it did not until I asked them to one day. The Manager party was a joke, no hotel management showed up and they did not offer any appetizers, it was only a free rum punch at the bar party. Service for food was very slow, expect to wait a hour for breakfast, they would be better off to offer a breakfast buffet. The good: we did get a great price to stay here. They have some nice restaurants walkable nearby, such as Buzo’s and Tapas. The room was good and kept clean daily. The food at the hotel is good when you eventually get it. The girl that books excursions was very helpful.

Perfect beach with protection of a reef. Not much chance of rip tides. Several large sea grape trees supplying lots of shade on the beach. Great pool. Rooms are all ocean front and well maintained. Property is clean

Lovely spacious rooms, very clean, all rooms had a sea view. Direct access to the beach and lovely beach bar. Food was fantastic the English sub is a must at breakfast. Wonderful family run hotel with friendly welcoming staff. We will be back next year!

Room was clean but a little outdated. No elevator in hotel. 50 stairs to 3rd floor room. Plenty of clean towels in room provided. Only one beach towel for whole stay unless you paid $3. For a clean one. Beautiful beach with plenty of lounge chairs. Pool warm but a little on the small side. Enjoyed our time there!

This property is on the beach. We were on the ground floor and could walk out our beach-side door to the pool deck, then down a few steps to the beach level. Both levels have a bar. Service at the beach was available and the restaurant was very good. The water was very clean and mostly protected by an offshore reef. The hotel is on a road serviced by a strange but efficient bus service utilizing 16-passenger vans. We rode them into town and down the shore to many excellent restaurants.

The Beach was beautiful. Our view from my room was wonderful we were on the top floor 50 steps up. There was no elevator so kind of difficult to get your luggage up and down. There were a lot of stairs in this resort, could be difficult for people. Kind of disappointed there was no coffee maker in our room. I went to the front desk, asked for a coffee maker for our room and they told me it didn’t come with that room, I told the gal at the counter when I booked it was on the list of amenities and please find me a coffee maker which they did, but there was no coffee, filters, sugar all that went along with that and coffee isn’t available till after 7am in the restaurant down stairs. Also only receive1 beachtowel for a 11 day stay or a $3 charge for a clean towel. Besides that I would definitely consider going back everything was lovely there just a few issues getting started.

Clean. Excellent view of the beach. The staff are very friendly and we got to know some very well. Would definitely recommend it and plan to stay there in the future.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Margot, the receptionist made us feel at home. She answered all questions without hesitation and was extremely courteous. The hotel grounds were always kept very clean. We had one issue upon arrival, which was immediately rectified by the on duty manager Jeff. He upgraded our room as well as gifted us a bottle of champagne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We arrived around 1:00 in the morning and when we got to our room it was hot and humid and the AC was blowing more hot air into the room. I went to the front desk and it took about 30 minutes for them to sort out giving us a different room. No one helped us with our bags when we had to make the move. The property is very dated and the floors are sandy. We requested a late check out and were told that there would be an additional cost even though we didn't get our room until 2:00 a.m.

I booked an oceanfront deluxe room. When I arrived I was told they were overbooked so that room was unavailable but they could give us another room. Having no other options and given that we needed a place to spend the day as we had just gotten off a cruise ship, we said ok assuming we were simply getting a non- oceanfront room. When we were given our room later that afternoon, we were swnt across the street to a 2 story apartment very old and rundown. Air only in the bedroom and open windows. The room faced the street and as of this writing, we have been hearing cars spending by, honking and playing loud music. I feel we were taken advantage of given that we had already paid in full and by the time we got into our room we were left without any options. The resort itself was fine.

I expected this to be hotel on beach like pictures you posted. We arrived late, were taken across street to the annex. We only rented one night so why would we need a kitchen. Rooms were run down, banged up, dumpy. Outside area was in backyards of dumpy residents - across street where I thought I booked was the beach and pool. I tried to contact you but was not aware my phone would not work there. I tried to get code on I pad but for some reason none of my emails loaded until I got home.

Room 25 was classified as a Superior Room with an Ocean View. You had to be standing to see all but the horizon. The view was obstructed by the roof of reception below. I requested an alternative room but they didn’t have one and whilst being aware of my issue, the manager and operations manager offered us a token 1 breakfast as compensation. The attached picture shows the balcony view whilst standing…not when seated. I consider this to be wholly unsatisfactory, given the price paid for the room.

This is our 2nd time at Coconut Court. It’s a nice hotel with a decent sized pool and easy access to the beach. There are 2 restaurants within and 1 across named Jake. We def enjoyed the food inside better. Staff are very polite and friendly. Our room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Would’ve preferred firmer pillows. Location is convenient to go to other parts of the island - Rockley, Bridgetown, holes town etc . Overall, it’s a comfortable stay!

This is terrible hotel, all the way around. Check-in took almost an hour, as there was only one person staffing the desk and at least a dozen people waiting to check in. The process, itself, was incredibly slow. The room was horrible - ancient air conditioner located near the ceiling which was operated by a remote control; sometimes it worked, and sometimes we had to climb up on the couch to shut it off or on manually. The room faced the street and the noise level was ridiculous - honking horns, rowdy people all night long. There was a small window in the bathroom which couldn’t be closed, making the noise flow directly into our room. Although we knew that there were no elevators, we paid a lot of cash in tips to get our luggage up and down a very steep flight of steps. Truly one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed!

My stay was great but I did have 2 minor issues. Check in is at 4 pm but my room wasnt ready until 4:40 pm. I had been up traveling from the U.S. and expected my room to be ready and was frustrated that it wasnt. It wasnt just my room that wasnt ready. There were at least 5 other people waiting on their rooms as well. The staff was friendly and informative but it didnt make it better. I was tired and ready to shower and relax. One thing I must say is that the hotel gets applauds for making up for me having to wait at check in. I ended up needing to have a late check out and was accomadated without question. Thank you! The only other issue I had was the bed was pretty tough and I could feel actual springs moving in the mattress when I rolled over. Im 5-7, weigh 170 lbs and was a solo traveler. The bed surely wont survive a rodeo romance and may need to be replaced. Other than that, the food was great, the location was amazing, the activities and karaoke were on point, the staff was superb and the beach view was pleasing. Everyday I woke up to the gorgeous sunrise, beautiful sand and blue water made it harder for me to come back home. I also enjoyed the personal feel of this hotel unlike some bigger chains. The personal vibe resonated well with me. Overall, Coconut Court Beach Hotel was a great place to stay.

There were at least 5 other people waiting on their rooms as well. The staff was friendly and informative but it didnt make it better. I was tired and ready to shower and relax. One thing I must say is that the hotel gets applauds for making up for me having to wait at check in. I ended up needing to have a late check out and was accomadated without question. Thank you! The only other issue I had was the bed was pretty tough and I could feel actual springs moving in the mattress when I rolled over. Im 5-7, weigh 170 lbs and was a solo traveler. The bed surely wont survive a rodeo romance and may need to be replaced. Other than that, the food was great, the location was amazing, the activities and karaoke were on point, the staff was superb and the beach view was pleasing. Everyday I woke up to the gorgeous sunrise, beautiful sand and blue water made it harder for me to come back home. I also enjoyed the personal feel of this hotel unlike some bigger chains. The personal vibe resonated well with me. Overall, Coconut Court Beach Hotel was a great place to stay.

Nice room, beautiful beach. We did have a real problem checking in. We arrived early in the morning with many others from a cruise ship and were told to wait until 4 to check-in. By 2, everyone waiting except use had a room. At 4 we were told, our room was not ready. We asked to speak with the manager at about 4:20 and only then were we given our room.

This is terrible hotel, all the way around. Check-in took almost an hour, as there was only one person staffing the desk and at least a dozen people waiting to check in. The process, itself, was incredibly slow. The room faced the street and the noise level was ridiculous - honking horns, rowdy people all night long. There was a small window in the bathroom which couldn’t be closed, making the noise flow directly into our room. Although we knew that there were no elevators, we paid a lot of cash in tips to get our luggage up and down a very steep flight of steps. Truly one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed!

We were really disappointed with this hotel. The reviews really highlighted the great customer service of the staff but we really had an awful experience. The hotel itself is nice, the room is spacious and bright with a great view to the beach, it’s well located and the beach is good. However it was a nightmare with the staff. Breakfast isn’t well advertised on Expedia, it’s a la carte and depends what you order the prices vary. It’s really over priced for what you get and it’s a nightmare in the morning! We waited 1 hour to get 2 avocados toasts! There wasn’t a day that our breakfast would come quick, all the time we were waiting 30-45 min for 2 items! The worst part is that my order was always the same and the kitchen always got it wrong! Even on the last day the manager of the restaurant offered the breakfast for free because of all issues we experienced. Shout out to Jamal at the beach bar, he really was a great staff member super friendly and bubbly and even made me a special drink on my birthday free of charge! Another thing that shocked us was the fact that you have to pay to get your beach towel changed! 6 BDS! We were there for 9 days, it’s not acceptable because obviously people will want their beach towels changed often! Every time we went to reception we were served by the same lady who you could see didn’t enjoy her job as her customer service was awful and had no joy in talking to us. I wish the staff was more friendly and helpful.

Lovely, safe family-owned hotel with friendly staff and everything we needed, including kitchenette, great water pressure and a/c, clean rooms, lovely beach with lots of trees offering shade if you desire. Bus stop across the street, along with some walkable restaurants and shops. We'll be back.

Coconut Court is an older building but yet very well maintained. The only issue we had was road noise. The resort backed onto a major road thus heavy traffic of honking buses and taxis. The noise starts at 6am. It gets you up. No alarm required.

This property is on the beach. We were on the ground floor and could walk out our beach-side door to the pool deck, then down a few steps to the beach level. Both levels have a bar. Service at the beach was available and the restaurant was very good. The water was very clean and mostly protected by an offshore reef. The hotel is on a road serviced by a strange but efficient bus service utilizing 16-passenger vans. We rode them into town and down the shore to many excellent restaurants.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. I look for spaces near the water with chairs. They have a large pool area. The rooms are dated, but fine. Opportunities are coffee in the room or at least accessible via a thermos for early risers, the food is just OK with limited local options. The beach towel policy is that you pay if you want to switch out your towel, which they are to replace every 3rd day. We had to ask for ours to be replaced. Bring your own portable water bottle.

Upon arrival I was impressed with the color of the property. The pool is really nice and it’s really close to the beach. The staff is really friendly especially Day-Day! The food was pretty good and the drinks were good! I’ll definitely stay again

Very nice location. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. People are generally friendly. The best thing to do is snorkel out around the breakwaters and see a ton of fish. That said the beach is quite rocky. Wear shoes or fins or have your feet torn up. The last 2 days we were there the seaweed descended upon the beach. The food is nothing special. In fact we had some trouble where we ordered one thing (fish and chips) and were served another (flying fish) with no chips. The kids were frustrated and we then had to face a slew of managers telling us about how this had happened and calling it “the incident” but never offering to make it right. This was a $20 mistake and not worth all the craziness of having to debate what happened (an inexperienced server who could not operate the ordering software) on the pool deck in full earshot of other guests. It was during that time, I decided the Coconut Court was not for me.

Great family run, and everyone was so nice and accomodating. We got a different room than the one we booked on hotels.com, however, they showed us other rooms, and we decided to stay as it was an amazing view and actually worked perfect for us.

Great location. The staff were just okay. The front/ check in staff were great but the restaurant and bar staff were not as friendly. We were told that they put chemicals in the pool every evening so they always put a sign up around 6:30 - 7 pm saying the pool was closed. After a busy day exploring, you should be able to enjoy the pool until at least 10 pm. We stayed in the annex apartment which was across the street. Great for 2 couples sharing a place to cut costs in half, but it is across the street next to Jake's restaurant. We were closest to the road, so road noise is obvious.

One of the few 'beach hotels' on the island -- many say they are, but you usually have to cross a road, or the beach is 'next' to the property. This is essentially a beach compound and private! The pool is big, clean, lots of seating. Lay around and watch / listen to the ocean, or use a beach lounger with free towels and lay at the ocean. The beach must be 100 feet deep and hundreds of feet wide, LOTS of beach to use to be alone, or gather, play games, etc. Grab drinks from the beach bar, lounge and eat in the beach patio. For proper seating, a restaurant overlooks it all. Lots of shade if you need from the many beach palms or the massive tree in the middle of the patio. Drinks are cheap, they may lack a little strength but make up for it with volume. Food is good. If you want more or a different vibe, the hotel has an eatery across the street, 'Jakes'. Good parking, security, lovely staff. They work on the property 24/7 cleaning away sand, picking up leaves, straightening, organizing. Sit on your balcony at 2am and you'll see security walking around, even testing the water in the pool. Perfectly located on the south coast. The ocean is clean and usable. Some stores around. 5-10 min drive to Bridgetown, 25 min to Holetown, 35 to Speightown, 25 to airport. 30 min stroll to 'distant' Rockley and the Tiki Bar. 20 min stroll west to gorgeous Pebble Beach. There are 'finer' hotels, but you'll lose out on some feature -- CCBH checks ALL the boxes of what a vacation should be.
