This hotel is located in one of the best locations in Barbados. The views and beach around the property is breathtaking . However this hotel needs allot of updating. Firstly there is only one working elevator for the 7 floors . The flushing of the toilet is manual with a pumping system . The water fluctuates in temperature so you can be bathing in warm water which suddenly turns cold . Apart from this one of my biggest issue is they were unable to facilitate a late check out . Check out was at 12 pm and the latest they could give me was 1 pm because someone else was booked for the room . Now I understand their position however I wasnt even provided the option to pay for a late check out as I have done in other hotels because my flight was late at night. Since they are this stringent with their policy they should at least offer a changing room with a shower so visitors who are faced with this situation can still bathe in the beach while they wait on their flights . I noticed several people waiting for the same reason while I was there and we had no other choice but to wait in the lobby areas for hours until our flights. Other than that the food was good and the restaurant staff was very friendly and accomodating.

The building definitely showing it’s age and Needs a deep cleaning. Rooms (bathrooms) look clean until you look well. It has a a beautiful beach front property with not enough chairs for guests. The staff is excellent for the most part. Some seem to be unhappy but most are very friendly.

My recent stay at the Radisson Hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The room was comfortable, though at times it felt like it wasn’t cooling properly. First impressions of the hotel are poor with large areas of the hotel suffering from concrete rebar rusting and crumbling balconies. Room was ok but suffering from a water leak in the bathroom(fixed quite quickly). There is a shortage of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. We could not get a sunbeds or umbrella on either day of our stay.

We didnt get off to the best start because their wifi was down which affected check-in and even getting a room key. But, I had a nice room with partial ocean view, the staff were very helpful and friendly, great location where I could walk to get local food and drink. Great, no frills, value place to stay. 4/5

The hotel is rundown and unmaintained for years. Elevators not working, water pipes bursting during my stay. Bar and restaurant atmosphere is a huge disappointment. Beach is nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable bed. But, I arrived and left to go somewhere esle for the evening and returned to sleep. Left the next morning. Not sure I will pick this location in Barbados again.

The beach area & beach staff were great. Most of the dining staff was not very personable and they were sold out of a lot of food & drink options. The Bar Staff, especially Fabian was very friendly and outgoing. The pool was very small and dirty. The big property that is out in the water is run down and not operable. Neptune's Grill wasn't open either.

fantastic location in one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. rooms were very nice and looks like renovated, great view. Friendliest crew everywhere front desk, beach, concierge, restaurant. However, the Property is looking old, and a bit run down on the exterior. Not many amenities, very small pool, only one restaurant option. The gorgeous building (stilts) on the ocean has been shut down many years ago and its inaccessible (unbelievably)

Amazing location on Pebble beach. Public areas and gym very good. Staff all really helpful and pleasant. The bedrooms are looking a bit tired but they appeared to be updating some of them whilst we were there. This will help to elevate the hotel even higher. Would definitely return.

The property was not maintained. Had to get bug spray because of mosquitoes and roaches in the room. Had a balcony room but when I looked out at the lower roof there were a lot of debris, old air conditioners that was discarded and just left there. Beachfront were not cleaned and the hallways of the hotel were not vacuumed, lots of sand on the carpet

Some of the staff were really nice and helpful. The food at the restaurant was "ok". I wish there was more of a variety. The menu was the same every day, but the service was top notch. I was really disappointed with the room situation. At first glance everything looked ok. Until nighttime, when we were up killing cockroaches most of the night. I told the front desk the next morning and they offered to put us in the room directly BELOW us. I explained that we didn't want to be closer to the kitchen and was told there was nothing left. We had 2 nights left of our stay. I persisted and was given the room DIRECTLY ACROSS from the one we left. There were roaches there too DUH. Needless to say, that was horrible and made the remainder of the stay uneasy. There are not a lot of choices for food within walking distance either. I would not stay there again.

This property should be under a complete overhaul if not torn down completely. It is dirty, unkept, and in terrible condition. The rooms were cleaned daily, but the furnishings look like they were found on the streets. The elevator stayed dirty, so bad that you were almost afraid to touch a button. There are cats that are allowed to run freely in the hotel, and on the furnishings. You would find birds in the dining area walking on the tables that are set for patrons meals. Pool was in desperate need of cleaning. Algea is visible throughout the pools bottom.

I like the stay at the Raddison. service and personal are outstanding. Resort needs freshing up and some maitenance work done. TV cable service needs upgrading, Some basic programs like Syfi, tnt, tbs I like to watch are not available and somecut network channels I like to watch are pre empted and tell us to watch the show on Flow steaming which we can't turn to?? and TV's should be upgraded to smart tv, so we can stream channel using our smart phones to get programs you dont offer

Check in was fine. However shower and bath water could not be tuned on Bathroom door does not fit frame so could not be closed completely. Limited electrical outlets. No ice machine found on floor. Curtains torn. I felt like I was in a cheep hotel in Mexico

Magnificent location, pebbels beach is amazing, fantastic to watch the horses in the water from the balcony in the morning…. Also great sunset from the balcony… I would stay here again, the only reason i am not giving 5 stars is due to very unstable internet….

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely return. The beach was perfect and steps from the rooms. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location and walking distance to many restaurants and public transit. Staff were very helpful, especially the hotel concierge and beach concierge Shane.

First off this property is DATED. The floors and carpets in the room were extremely stained. My room door didn’t lock properly at all. I had to keep checking the lock every time I came in and left. The black out curtains were falling down. And they had all the patio furniture for my balcony inside of my room. The toilet flusher was like something out of a medieval castle and not in a good way. The towel holder broke off when I hung my towel. I also had a VIP perk which I did not even get even though I purchased food and drinks at the hotel. Suffice to say I won’t be staying here again. Or recommending it to anyone I know. Besides the location there is literally nothing else good about this hotel.

Very nice location on the beach and close to town. The restaurant on site was very good and there were nice local restaurants within walking distance. The room was large but does need a refurbishment. The view from the balcony was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Radisson is in a great location situated on Carlisle Bay which is one of my favourite places to swim and take walks. Room views are terrific. The hotel is long overdue for renovations: the furniture and decor is dated and bathroom fixtures need replacing. The Pavilion is a well-known landmark in Barbados and has been left to deteriorate, I hope one day Radisson will consider rebuilding it. Thank you to the staff who were both friendly and helpful.

Had to wait on average 1.5hours for lunch meals to arrive which seemed to be a norm. Room was worn down. A lady was complaining about cockroaches in her room. Front desk service was hit and miss. Love seeing the horses bathing on the beach just outside of the hotel and savvy on the beach was just 15-20 minutes walk away. The corner convenience store down the block was my daily go to for snacks and drinks.
Had to wait on average 1.5hours for lunch meals to arrive which seemed to be a norm. Room was worn down. A lady was complaining about cockroaches in her room. Front desk service was hit and miss. Love seeing the horses bathing on the beach just outside of the hotel and savvy on the beach was just 15-20 minutes walk away. The corner convenience store down the block was my daily go to for snacks and drinks.

The staff are dishonest. I made double booking by mistake. I spoke to the receptionist who promised to contact the manager. This never happened. I asked to speak to the manager myself and she is either in a meeting or not at work . Border line theft !

I have stayed at the Radisson on 2 previous occasions, the last being over 5 years ago. At that time i was impressed with the service and quality of the hotel. Unfortunately I cannot say the same this time, although the service, especially from the reception staff was excellent. Shanice and Nigel and the rest of the team (sorry guys, can't remember all your names) were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. The condition of the exterior appears to be neglected over the years. The rooms are very outdated and the food (breakfast) was of a poor quality, limited choices, overcooked bacon, bland sausages and failing attention to detail. Very few local choices, and certainty overpriced. Unfortunately until refurbishment works are carried out, this hotel will not be an option on my future returns to Barbados.

The check-in process was extremely slow. The person checking us in was lovely. I think it's slow due to a lack of updated technology that could make the process faster. The room and entire hotel is in dire need of a renovation. There was a very loud outdoor party with live band playing at an adjacent property and even with air conditioning on and doors closed, we could hear them loud and clear. Nigel, the Concierge was Wonderful!!! Upon arrival, he handed all of us a rum punch and was very pleasant.

Great location, right on the beach and short walks to beach dining options. Hotel food was reasonable. The staff were amazing and friendly. They went above and beyond when I forgot my phone in the taxi on the way to the airport. I called the hotel and they were able to track down the taxi driver who came back within half an hour to the airport to drop off my phone. I really appreciated their efforts to retreive my phone. I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

To preface, I am 24, and I traveled with 3 other friends around my age. BAD THINGS:don't expect much. If you are looking for an updated modern hotel with 2024 amenities, this is not your place to stay. However, the property was VERY clean and I felt safe. Check-in: We had to wait 2 HOURS after the listed check-in time to get into our room. The staff was NOT accommodating, offered no explanation to why our room was not ready other than 'our booking was for 2 people but we had 4 people.' BE CAREFUL with this, expedia did not have an option for more than 2 people at the time of my booking. Upon waiting 2 hours for them to allegedly be 'setting the room for 4 people' we got into our DOUBLE-BED ROOM that still only had 2 waters, and 2 towels...hmmm? Come to find out on our first day, they just did not have a proper cleaning schedule as they did not show up until 4pm to clean our room. The breakfast buffet is not worth it. GOOD THINGS: You are right on pebbles beach, which is an incredible location for the price of this hotel. The race horses are washed in the ocean on this beach in the morning around 5:30am. The Skippers lunch spot/bar is AMAZING. Located right by a gas station/convenience store. Beach set up is beautiful and comfortable. Beach concierge was SO ACCOMMODATING and nice. The staff were all warm and friendly, efficient and helpful. Like the location as it’s convenient to get to Bridgetown and other restaurants and places on the South Coast. All quite a few restaurants are within walking distances. The beach is also quite lovely with crystal clear waters. My experience was positive however, I think it’s time the hotel gets a general upgrade, I would not mind staying there again on my next trip to Barbados.

You have to ask them to clean the room everyday, lest you feel the sand as you walk in your rooms. 5 km from Kensington Oval with easy access by taxi. And just a short brisk walk to the Washington House.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely return. The beach was perfect and steps from the rooms. It was quiet, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location and walking distance to many restaurants and public transit. Staff were very helpful, especially the hotel concierge and beach concierge Shane.

That said, the staff were lovely and very helpful and accommodating where possible. The location is AMAZING, right on the beach (where you can swim with the horses) and free deck chairs, beach towels and parasols are provided. You can also walk along the beach to find other restaurants and bars, or, take the local ‘party bus’ taxi service from just outside the hotel, which runs very frequently, to get to Bridgetown in one direction, or The Boardwalk and Oistins in the other direction. The restaurant was OK for dinner, but breakfast left something to be desired. The beach is nice and swimmable. The room was decent but there was some kind of machine upstairs making a lot of noise. Ice machines mostly out of order (or at lest ice).

First impressions of the hotel are poor with large areas of the hotel suffering from concrete rebar rusting and crumbling balconies. Room was ok but suffering from a water leak in the bathroom(fixed quite quickly). There is a shortage of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. We could not get a sunbeds or umbrella on either day of our stay.
