Hotel Chalet Swiss

Great stay. Love that sauna and cozy feel.

The room was dark, stuffy, and out-dated. In an active heatwave, the room was unbearable to sleep in. The free Toblerones that were provided melted in the room before we got in. We asked for an extra fan but were told none were available. The bathroom was small and had poor water pressure. Amenities were basically non-existent. The lack of a mini fridge/mini bar was troubling, and even though our room was above the wet bar, it was never open and we could not ask for ice cubes to get through the heat wave. We also called the reception for extra facial tissues and toilet paper, and received a response that someone would be up shortly — no one ever showed. The bedsheets felt unclean, and we found “black specks” on the duvets that we did not use due to the heat. A large portion of the TV channels were unavailable. We were told by the receptionist at check in that breakfast is available from 6 AM to 10 AM. However, when we showed up at 6:10 AM, nothing was set up, so we never got to enjoy the breakfast to properly rate it. Reception was overall unhelpful. The only positive thing that comes to mind is that it had somewhat of a stable wifi, which we did not even get to use a lot of. Lastly, CHF 40 (approx. USD 50) was being charged for 45 mins late check out (11:45am).

Property has a beautiful garden and picnic area. View from our room balcony was a great picture of Interlaken West. Breakfast was very good (free!) and staff attentive and informative. Hotel is decorated with beautiful period photos and antiques.

Una de las cosas que se debe mejorar en la habitación es el sistema de calefacción, era deficiente, por lo menos habian buenas mantas para arroparse 2.Otra cosa importante si te alojas en el tercer piso debes subir del segundo piso al tercero en escalera, lo deberían colocar en el anuncio de como es el hotel. 3. El desayuno pudiera ser mejor si agregan alguna proteina caliente solo habia huevo, pero si agregaran salchichas o bacon seria mas surtidos

Our room was very clean and cozy. We arrived on a hot day and used the supplied, much-needed fan to move the air around. The staff members were friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet ample.

The only thing that I can says its missing was the AC forvthe top rooms can get pretty hot upstairs in the summer months.

Very nice rooms and property. We were during the slow season so the bar was closed which was a shame. But overall great property.

loved the design of the hotel, the rooms were clean, and they had all the necessities. The staff was very polite. However, the room had no elevator or ramp to get the suitcases to the 3rd floor, so we had to carry them up the stairs from the second to the third floor. The room was extremely hot, and it had a very small fan that barely worked. There was nowhere (except the bar) to get cold water to drink. No mini bar, and the drink machine had no water, and was actually empty. Some ice machine, or cold water, would have been nice, considering the weather was very hot.

I stayed at Hotel Chalet Swiss for two nights and was extremely disappointed. The room felt like a matchbox—cramped, with no wardrobe or storage space, and the tiny balcony was covered in cobwebs. The bathroom was so small you can barely turn around, let alone shower comfortably. To make matters worse, the window in my room wouldn’t close properly. When I called reception, a staff member responded rudely, lecturing me about how windows in Switzerland are supposed to open before admitting mine only opened one way—information that didn’t improve the situation. Breakfast was equally underwhelming, with very limited options and low-quality offerings. Between the cramped quarters, unhelpful staff, and subpar breakfast, I cannot recommend this hotel.

There were a few ants as we were on the ground floor, it was also the first room at the hallway and it was a bit noisy when other people are walking past our room.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. Very good and cooperative staff. The hotel is also located within walking distance to the city center. The rooms were neat and clean as well as the staff was highly helpful for all support required.

Really nice view and very friendly staff, ultra clean bathroom but you need ear plugs ( they provide it in the bathroom) because we could hear almost every sound coming from the room next to us.

Room was good with a Mountain View. Couldn’t wait for breakfast so was given food to take with us. Luggage stored until later.

Staff were friendly. Accommodation was basic but sufficient for what we needed. Room was very warm.

While the property is older, it had everything that we needed. It was quiet, and the breakfast was nice. We had the family room that had two single beds on the first floor with two single beds upstairs. The room was small, but it was adequate. I really loved opening the windows to let the fresh air in during the month of April. The window and the ceiling was leaking water just a little bit. But it was taken care of by the maintenance guy after we had reported it to the front desk.

Check-in was easy, rooms clean and appropriate and a 10 minute walk from the West train station.

Clean, tidy and straight forward. Room a good size. Breakfast options good and nice dinning location. A nice touch offering us a bottle of water to take away at check out.

Cute hotel, chalet-style made the Switzerland trip even more special. Perfect location a nice walk to the train station ot bus stop right across the street. Walking distance to restaurants, COOP and a pharmacy. On the same street as the bus going towards Thun as well. Staff at the front desk were amazing and helpful for any questions or issues we had. Area was so quiet too. Breakfast had enough options for food. Price of the hotel was decent.

Atendimento bem ruim. No dia do check in a atendente foi bem simpática e disse que sua colega me passaria umas informações no dia seguinte sobre um determinado passeio que eu ia fazer. Pela manhã solicitei a essa "colega" as informações e foi respondida com "procura no Google que você encontra" Achei bastante mal educado da parte dela.

Inn keeper was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with him in the bar area of the hotel. Rooms were spacious and modern. Breakfast was included and very good.

スタッフが素晴らしい。 部屋もきれいで、バルコニーから山が見えて良かったです。 滞在中のバスのチケットがもらえ、ホテルの目の前がバス停なの便利です。 歩いても１０分くらいで駅前の繁華街に行けます。

Great location but hotel A bit outdated

This little gem of a hotel was perfect for a stay in Interlaken. It’s a short walk from the Interlaken West train station and close to everything! Only downside is it was hot and there is no AC … but if you want an authentic alps experience it’s worth it!

An excellent value and comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great, and the location was fantastic. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

So noisy because there’s construction outside. The workers start the job each morning at 7am. The breakfast is not good. Overall I won’t come back with the price I paid.
