E’g bringing room service but forgetting the cutlery. At these prices everything should be first class. The pool and garden are fabulous. A perfect oasis. There is nothing nearby to eat or go out. You’ll need a taxi. The food was also very disappointing. Very poor standard considering their target market.

This hotel is what it claims to be. Its gardens are beautiful, the buildings are historic and in excellent condition. The food is good and plentiful. We rented a suite, and the view from our suite was outstanding, as it was on the fourth (European 4th, American 5th) floor. The staff was accommodating and friendly, and otherwise unobtrusive.

It was already late, but the bar was still open, and you could sit in a beautiful courtyard under palm trees. There were delicious salads with feta, hummus, and BBQ, along with a wide selection of international wines and cocktails; the waiter—both waiters—were very friendly. Just a few minutes in this hotel makes you feel well taken care of. (If you don’t arrive at 11 p.m. but a bit earlier, one or two other restaurants are still open.) We liked it so much there that we were already looking forward to going back the next evening. The rooms are large and spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you need. You sleep very well. And the next morning, there’s a breakfast buffet that also leaves nothing to be desired. Its reputation is well-deserved; it’s a perfect hotel. One of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in.
