Zeer goede bedden (merk Astral). Goede regendouche. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Ideale ligging, parking ernaast met speciale tarief van 25 euro, wat een koopje is in centrum Barcelona. La rambla om de hoek. Nous n’avons passé qu’une seule nuit à l’hôtel Gaudí mais notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Une partie de l’hôtel a été rénovée ce n’était pas le cas de notre chambre. L’hôtel dispose d’une terrasse entièrement refaite qui offre une vue à 360 degrés sur Barcelone avec possibilité de prendre un verre. La piscine est petite mais très agréable. Service soigné, personnel très agréable petit déjeuner buffet de très bon niveau pour un trois étoiles.

Breakfast was very good and staff very patient and helpful.We arrived early and they accomodated our extra large luggage to store for the day until our room was ready. Next time we bring smaller suit cases for sure! We were disappointed they were repairing the rooftop pool so we couldn't enjoy. Rooftop terrace was nice and great view of Museum rooftop across the street. Rare and Excellent size room for 4 adults and perfect place to regroup and recover from our long cruise before flying home. Top quality and great value! Highly Recommend1

The hotel is located in a central position, great to reach main attractions on foot and close to a metro station/ taxi rank. A bonus, the free water dispenser. We appreciated filling our water bottles for free every day. Unfortunately, the hotel is noisy, the walls are thin and it's recommended to sleep with ear plugs. We heard lots of noises in the middle of the night, coming from members of the staff. We didn't sleep well. Apart from that, the hotel was very clean, room comfortable, good shower and coffee/tea with a kettle.

We had higher hopes for this property. I'll start with the negatives. But before I do that, I will say this is an old hotel. The elevators are old and small. The rooms are basic. All of the hard surfaces felt dirty, and the second and final night that we were there are room smelled as if the sewage had backed up. There's a constant sound of a blow dryer running, and there's a constant sound of running water. Don't no source for either could be found. We had thought that breakfast was included with the price only to find out that it was not and we had to pay when we were checking out. Not a deal breaker, it could have been communicated better. We expected that the pool would be able to accommodate more than three people, or that we would be able to do laps in a lap pool. Again this is an older property, to the fact that they had a pool at all was a good thing, although we didn't use it because it was already at maximum capacity with a few people in it. Let me share some of the positives about this hotel. The location to the main tourist street, las Ramblas, is excellent. The view from the rooftop deck is stunning, and the staff was nice.

Hotel Gaudí is convenient for exploring the old section of Barcelona. The room we had was spacious, but could have used more seating. Beds were comfortable. The hotel staff let us store our luggage in the morning when we arrived and then check in later. The elevators are tiny. Only two of could fit with our suitcases. The stairwells do not seem to be air conditioned so it was warm when using the stairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I wanted to love this hotel but sadly, the thin walls made it difficult. The noise level from my corner room was unbelieveably loud after a very long travel day and sleep was difficult. The location was excellent, the room was clean, but I could hear actual conversation from the room next door and a tremendous amount of noise from the hallway and lobby area.

Location, location, location…The hotel was walking distance to La Rambla, Gothic Quarter and La Boqueria. There’s a subway stop nearby along La Rambla. If you’re going to the Barcelona port, it’s only about 10-15 minutes away from the hotel depending on the traffic. Front desk people (especially Augustine & Carmen) were very Helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The wait staff in the breakfast room were all very friendly and accommodating. Definitely we will stay in the same hotel when we visit Barcelona.

The location of the hotel is great, especially if you want to be right by the tourist attractions. I would not recommend this hotel though at all. The staff were extremely unhelpful - everything felt like an inconvenience to them, from ordering a taxi to replacing room keys that stopped working. Don’t bother checking in online when they send you the email- they repeat the whole process again on your arrival which takes ages. The room walls are so thin that you can hear the people in the adjacent room talking and using the washroom. The breakfast is good, with a nice selection for vegetarians and vegans. There are better properties for this price point in this area though overall.

They did not reserve the 2 twin bed room per my reservation request. They gave me a 1 standard double bed for 2 adults. Said nothing else was available. Referred me to Expedia for a refund and refused my request to cancel to obtain suitable replacement elsewhere and was very rude and condescending. Also the hotel transfer transportation that they referred me to never picked me from the airport but also charged me. The hotel did not assist me with this problem as well.

We arrived early morning from a cruise ship aroud 9.30am and went to the hotel to see if they could hold our bags for us until check in time. The lady was quite rude, gave a deep sigh and shouted check in time 3 o'clock, she then came around the desk to look at our suitcases and shook her head, she indicated there was no room for our cases then gave us two keys and said second elevator floor ?can't remember. She told us if we lost the keys the cost would be 10 euros each. On our return around 10 to 3, I asked if we could check in and the same lady said what is the time? and looked at the clock, she told us to get our cases and she would see. When we came back to the desk, there was a younger girl on reception to check us in, but the older lady talked continuously to her throughout our transaction which felt very unwelcoming. such a shame as we loved the quirkiness of the hotel, very clean, very central and enjoyed the roof terrace.

The hotel was great. The folks at the frint desk were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view of Palau Güell across the street. I would recommend and stay here again.

This is a perfect location if you want to be close to walkable areas. There are lots of shopping and restaurants near by. The walls are kind of thin you can even hear someone cough but if you don’t care about that this is a good location.

This is an excellent central hotel in Barcelona. It is an easy walk to Ramblas, La Boqueria and the whole gothic quarter. It has a lovely deck that looks over the Palau Guell. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms have terraces with views over the city. I would recommend staying here to anyone coming to Barcelona. It is a great value.

Would not recommend staying here at all. I have stayed at many hotels but this place was not worth what we paid which was quite expensive compared to other places. Firstly, the rooms were so thin & our bathroom had a window which seemed to share with the other room. We could hear every conversation from the people in the next room and they could hear us even though we were very quiet and would tell us to be quiet but in a rude way and swear. we were also woken up 3 times one night from the fire alarm but there was no fire. The buffet breakfast is terrible and not worth the money. The street is also very noisy. First place I’ve stayed at which I would not recommend at all.

Location was great. However, the beds were as hard as rocks. Also, had a two room and there is no vent for the AC in the one room. Therefore when you close the door between the rooms you get no AC in the other room. I received a discount I accepted on the breakfast for 14 Euros. Was not worth it. Buy your breakfast elsewhere.

Fantastic location, easy and quick walk to shops, metro, restaurants and bars. 20 min walk to beach, marina etc. Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Rooftop terrace was lovely to relax on. Rooms very clean they could be noisey on lower floors but to be honest I think that would be the case in any hotel near las ramblas. Just take some ear plugs. Cost about 33 euros to get from the airport to hotel in taxi. Its just under 6 euros per person on the metro but looks like you have to change line twice. Purple metro line to sagrada familia, easy no line change metro station right outside sagrada familia. Green metro line to parc guell, again, easy no line change but about 15 mins walk when you get off metro. Would definately recommend this hotel perfect location for exploring.

Skip the breakfast, not with it. Good area, but avoid the restaurants an La Rambla. Good Tapas place 2 doors down. Room was clean, quiet. Palace Guell right across the street.
